A truly positive experience at the Sombreros restaurant and pizzeria! The cuisine is truly excellent, carefully prepared and authentic, with dishes that exude tradition and quality. I had the gnocco fritto, and it was simply spectacular: light, dry, and perfectly fragrant... one of those dishes that makes you want to order more without thinking twice 😄 A great added bonus is the owner, who is extremely kind, welcoming, and always eager to make her customers feel at home. You can immediately sense the passion she puts into her work, and this makes the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended: I'll definitely be back! 🍕

In the winter, and therefore out of season, many places are closed, which is why we chose this restaurant, which, despite living in Verbania, we'd never tried. On Sundays, there's no pizza or daily menu, just an a la carte menu. We opted for beef tagliata with potatoes, tuna carpaccio with lamb's lettuce, and potato and egg rösti. The dishes were good but not exceptional, with small portions. The tiramisu they made was excellent. Unfortunately, it was expensive—although everything has been expensive lately. It's clean and has convenient parking. We'll try the pizza when it's warmer and we can sit outside.
