I migliori ristoranti in Verbano-cusio-ossola

23/11/2024: Ieri sera ho cenato con amici al Negozio Wine Restaurant. Premesso che sono un habituè del locale già recensito in passato. Quella di ieri però non è stata una cena "normale" Il menù della serata era tutto incentrato sulla presentazione del Kobe, mitica e costosissima carne giapponese, unica al mondo. Che dire: grazie alla sapiente preparazione di uno chef specializzato in questo tipo di carne, ho potuto deliziarmi con tre portate che dire sublimi è troppo riduttivo. Nella mia personale graduatoria delle mie migliori esperienze gastronomiche ho due ristoranti tristellati Michelin, due bistellati e uno con una stella. Bene da ieri Il Negozio Wine Reasstaurant ha detronizzato un bistellato, ed entra a pieno titolo nel mio olimpo personale.

08/11/2024: Cibo squisito, personale gentile, simpatico e competente, location informale e calda. Siamo tornati anche il giorno dopo ad acquistare salumi e formaggi veramente buonissimi

03/09/2024: On a warm summer evening we ate outside the restaurant, with a glimpse of the lake. Good food, well presented, and the waitress was very kind even though she had a lot to do and was alone. Careful and attentive service. Worth a stop.

29/08/2024: We were in Il Portale in June and are still talking about this restaurant, so it’s about time to write a review. We totally loved it here, cosy restaurant with a view of the lake, delicious food en very friendly service. The lady who served us spoke very well English en explained all the local specialties on the menu. She had a lot of knowledge about her products and you could see she was very proud of them. We loved the slow cooked egg with the local mountain cheese, the risotto with ossobuco and the home made bread of long fermentation with the delicious olive oil from Sicily! @Restorante Il Portale: We would be very happy if you could share with us the name of that olive oil , since we have been thinking about it ever since. Thank you 🙏!

01/11/2024: Abbondanza e atmosfera amichevole. Siamo capitate qui in un giorno festivo durante il quale era tutto chiuso. Musica in sottofondo. Buon vino, servizio veloce e cibo in abbondanza e di qualità. Ci hanno portato più volte panini con pulled pork. Personale simpatico

01/11/2024: I believe that Peppo's pizzas are the best in all of Verbania in terms of dough, leavening times and ingredients. A true professional, no less so are his wife and son who manage the kitchen and service with quality and courtesy. Well done, well done 👍

22/11/2024: Excellent rediscovery. We frequented it years ago, we returned and found the same courtesy and care. More than excellent food. Have been back several times and will return. The only flaw is that it is only open for lunch.

16/11/2024: We had the great pleasure of eating at Ristorante Usignolo above Cannero Riviera and it was an experience that we will remember for a long time. Even the journey along the winding roads with a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore was impressive, but when we finally sat down on the terrace, we were simply thrilled. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains, especially at sunset, was simply breathtaking. The menu immediately impressed us – a perfect mix of regional specialties and Italian tradition. The fresh fish dishes and homemade pasta in particular were an absolute highlight. You can immediately tell that they cook here with the best ingredients and a lot of love. Every dish we tried was thought out down to the last detail and incredibly tasty. The service was as warm as it was attentive. We immediately felt welcome and the team's recommendations - be it for the food or the wine pairing - were excellent. Everything was served with a smile and we had the impression that every guest was truly valued here. The atmosphere was simply indescribable. The combination of excellent food, warm service and this incredible view made the evening very special. It felt like a getaway for the soul. We can only warmly recommend Ristorante Usignolo. If you're in the area, you should definitely reserve a table - especially on the terrace. This restaurant impressed us not only culinary but also emotionally, and we will definitely come back.

16/11/2024: We went to this restaurant for a simple dinner and had a great time. The menu includes few dishes but very well executed and well presented. The staff were welcoming and kind. The restaurant is nice and the price is correct. Promoted!

03/11/2024: Thank you for existing! ❤️ All my life I thought that river fish couldn't be as tasty as sea fish, but this restaurant convinced me. We might have waited a little longer for the food to arrive, but that's understandable because it was very crowded on a Sunday early afternoon. Food and drink prices are moderate for Italy, but the food is worth every cent. 🔝🔝🔝

01/09/2024: Simply try it and you're on the safe side! The food is excellent, the staff is extremely professional and friendly. The cellar has a very wide variety of wines and, finally, the bathrooms are also clean! What are you waiting for???? Bon appetit to all of you who go to the Smoking Hen!!!

30/10/2024: We live on the lake and have tried every ice cream parlor - this one is by far the best. The ice cream is sensational – the selection is incredible. We especially recommend the chestnut ice cream, as well as Tiramisu/Zuppa Englese or Amaretto.

14/10/2024: A tourist trap. Regular gelato at inflated prices.

24/08/2024: Locale accogliente, elegante per passare una serata allegra in compagnia, con un vasto e ottimo menù a disposizione. Titolare e personale gentili e premurosi, insomma un locale eccellente.
