13/08/2026: A magical place, an incredible atmosphere with a direct view of the lake, excellent and friendly service, but above all, the food was breathtaking from the first course to the last. Highly recommended are the spaghetti with sea urchins (I haven't found a better execution anywhere in Sicily!), the grilled pigeon (which was enormous and had an indescribable flavor of chargrilled meat and rosemary!), and the gianduiotto (a pâté shaped like a gianduiotto and covered in real chocolate, a unique flavor!). Even the sweets they serve with the coffee were superb. At the end of the meal, they even let us swim in the beautiful, clear lake and provided us with their sun loungers and towels free of charge. The service and experience is definitely worth repeating. Pricey, but in line with the service offered.

13/08/2026: Lunch. Restaurant with a beautiful view and a quiet atmosphere. Attentive, high-quality but not overly rigid service. Superb food. Four-course tasting menu, all bold, balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Fair value for the quality offered. Excellent option to order different tasting menus for the table or choose à la carte.

29/05/2026: A beautiful restaurant with a lovely water view from the terrace. The team seems very young, which brings a refreshing energy to both the kitchen and the service. The food was absolutely delicious – not exactly cheap, but the value for money is perfect. The dishes have a unique touch, making the visit exciting and delightful. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Mille grazie!

11/08/2026: A place from another era, with a beautiful kiwi pergola that sheltered us from the recent heat. The menu offers a good selection, and the restaurant owner then comes to explain the provenance of the ingredients, almost all of which are local. The food was excellent, the service attentive, the owner extremely kind, and the added bonus is Nicole, a sweet dog rescued from a shelter. She makes herself known, but unless you bother her (like my husband and I did), she minds her own business! Definitely worth returning to!

18/08/2026: Not only is the food delicious, but the service makes you feel right at home! I highly recommend it, even for those with special needs. My partner is gluten-sensitive and vegetarian, and my mother is diabetic, and they've had no problems at all!

12/07/2026: Excellent family run restaurant above Domodossola, big terrasse which is the best spot to spend some hours enjoying the seafood oriented surprise menu or a la carte dishes. Excellent wines, affordable prices and wonderful staff. Worth even a longer trip to get there.

17/07/2026: Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Baveno! We stumbled upon this magnificent establishment tucked away on a small street in the town. We were able to reserve a table for the following day. So be sure to book ahead, as the dining room is small! The welcome: warm, friendly, and attentive! The servers speak a little French, which makes communication easy! The menu: short, a sign of quality. We chose the pasta (with feta, zucchini, and homemade pesto sauce), a true delight. All the ingredients are refined; you can taste the homemade quality. Then, we enjoyed the beef fillet with dauphinoise potatoes, cooked to perfection. The desserts are also typical and indulgent: tarte tatin and bonet (a local Piedmontese specialty). The complimentary limoncello is a perfect way to end the meal! In short, we highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!
