The hostess and staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient. The location with its lake view is simply stunning. The sommelier provided excellent wine recommendations. The food was outstanding. I would gladly return anytime.

A very positive experience. We went by chance on a weekday; we called to make a reservation, but there were plenty of free spots. Luckily, we were on a motorcycle, because parking would have been very difficult (with the place full, I'm not sure how you'd manage). Friendly staff. Excellent food and a fantastic view; definitely a place to return. It's great that the bathroom has a dedicated area for children with a changing table.

Well located, quiet spot with views of Lake Maggiore and Isola Madre. Highly recommended. Have visited twice as a family and received a very warm welcome.

An awesome find above Lake Maggiore. The view AND the food AND all the service people were awesome. Great experience, delicious meals and view!! Git lucky with parking across from restaurant…that’s the tricky part, but well worth it.

16/05/2026: Carl Honoré would have been happy at this restaurant; he could have added a chapter to his In Praise of Slowness. Mind you, this isn't a criticism at all: the dishes are freshly prepared, and a short wait between each one isn't a flaw. Especially since the food is excellent quality at more than reasonable prices, including wine. Their lake fish, both grilled and fried, is particularly noteworthy. A visit is highly recommended, but reservations are essential on weekends, as walk-ins are virtually impossible.
03/05/2026: A surreal experience in an osteria that takes you back in time. Avoid it unless you have the patience to wait for the long waits of the otherwise very friendly lady. In the highly touristy setting of Verbania, it's probably not that bad. Decent first courses, a starter of homemade cured meats, supermarket rye bread, and a reasonable bill.

14/06/2026: Excellent cuisine! The pasta, fish, and meat were all perfect. The pasta with veal ragu was incredibly delicious, the Angus beef was amazingly good and succulent, and the fish was very delicate. They also had wonderful wine, available by the glass. The service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable in my opinion. We had a lovely experience.
11/06/2026: A very successful evening! The food was excellent, the service was perfect with smiling and very pleasant staff! Thank you for everything!
