30/06/2024: Given that the ownership changed a month ago and it is called BAR Catana..... We had a working lunch for 5 with an excellent quality-price ratio and taste. Even as a bar the coffee is good. It seems that in the evening there is music, food and drinks to satisfy customers.

13/08/2024: Unclassifiable pizza I appreciate the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, who run back and forth in this heat, but we're just not there on the pizza. A capricciosa of which you could only eat the edge, the rest was all raw, with floating liquids (of the olives - they were the black ones in slices, of the artichokes - they were those pickled slices full of beard). The only decent ingredient was the ham, the rest was really low quality. The mozzarella was plastic. One of the few places open in this mid-August period, but if I had kneaded the dough myself and baked it in the oven at home, the result would have been better. The price is average.

08/08/2024: Abundant portions, affordable prices but above all delicious dishes 😊 I've tried both the meat and the fish and the pizza and every time I go I never know what to have because it's all too good! I also celebrated my baby's baptism there. The service is also excellent, the female staff bring joy that infects everyone. We hope to see the male staff smiling a little more in the future. I recommend trying the menus for both lunch and dinner, you won't regret it! Excellent pizzas! 🍕☺️

26/05/2024: I have never eaten so badly, Sunday evening, semi-empty place 20 minutes before ordering, my husband and I order, he took the hamburger with chips and I took Mexican chilli or at least it said so... after a waiting for 45 minutes the fries arrive frozen as if they had been cooked in the afternoon how did they think of serving them I have no idea we mentioned it to the clearly embarrassed waitress and what does she reply? That's fine, I'll heat them up for you too! It's absolutely not the waitress' fault but whoever served something like this must have a lot of courage, the chilli was terrible to say the least that I left practically all of it on the plate it was a ragù with beans and peppers I didn't even see the chilli on youtube the recipe paid €11.00, literally wasted money, I'm sorry but we would definitely never go there again

23/07/2024: Non era la prima volta che venivo in questo posto, immerso nel verde poco fuori la città di Alessandria che, zanzare permettendo, risulta fresco e gradevole. Ne avevo un ricordo migliore. Il primo disappunto è stato per l'acqua frizzante, servita per niente fredda, praticamente a temperatura ambiente. Alla mia richiesta di cambiare bottiglia, mi è stato risposto che "è la macchina alla spina che funziona così". Ma se funziona male, fatela aggiustare invece di portare il ghiaccio a latere . . . . . Ho poi ordinato un "sushi di tartare di carne", ovvero una battuta al coltello servita avvolta nel riso, come il sushi, che pareva molto invitante. La salsa a latere sembrava salsa di soia delle peggiori, salatissima. Proprio niente di speciale come idea di antipasto. Ho poi provato una carbonara, specialità della casa, ma eccessivamente salata anche quella e con il guanciale troppo cotto, sgranocchiante. Probabilmente i loro piatti forti sono la carne alla brace e le pizze . . . . .il resto non troppo.

21/07/2024: Siamo arrivati alle 20.45 e ci siamo seduti subito al piano superiore, abbiamo ordinato alle 21.25 circa, stavo iniziando a perdere le speranze perché non vedevamo nessuno, poi una volta ordinato è andato tutto benissimo, pizza molto buona, non è passato molto dall’ordinazione e l’arrivo delle pizze, abbiamo preso anche un tiramisù, molto buono devo dire e abbiamo anche vinto una penna a sfera.

07/07/2024: The quality is always the same, what makes the difference (negatively) is probably the lack of staff.... 15 minutes waiting for a coffee, in the end I gave up and drank it (in an instant) at the Esselunga bar ....

07/07/2024: Time for perfect food delivery, but standing at the counter for 20 minutes to get coffee without anyone watching seems too excessive to me. Feeling impatient, I went out to drink coffee at the Esselunga nearby. They can drink the coffee already paid for!!!!

23/07/2024: I liked it because it immediately brought back memories of the pizzerias of Romagna and the kebab places of Amsterdam... I don't know why 🤣?! When you're hungry!!

07/02/2024: Today I stop for a work lunch. The place is not on a thoroughfare and the address is marked, the navigator gave me it close but not in the exact place. For those with disabilities, they must arrive by car on a small road that runs alongside the car park to reach the entrance avoiding the steps. For the rest, the decor of the place is a trattoria, the staff is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is familiar. The bathroom is clean. I had a good time, as a first course I had spaghetti all'arrabbiata which I liked, as a second course I had a really good, very tender carpaccio, a side dish. The portions are generous, the bulk wine is good, the bread excellent. The coffee is good in a paper cup. The price 12 euros, super honest. For those who, like me, like a simple and familiar environment, the place is highly recommended. PS.: a company at a table near me, evidently regular customers, cut a panettone at the end of the meal and offered me a slice too (first time they saw me) I got up to take the slice and the owner promptly extended a dessert plate...

03/02/2024: For three pizzas, 2 beers and some panissa we spent €75. Let me start by saying that the pizzas cost an average of €7. I don't know how they did the math... a bit confusing like the place.
