18/01/2026: Excellent first courses at a fair price. It's a shame they don't offer typical Roman second courses; only tripe was available when I went.

20/10/2025: We had lunch on a Sunday at this farmhouse, where we'd tried several times but failed. We had a great time, delighted by the wonderful location. Eating outside in the garden on a beautiful sunny day is a must-try, for its beauty and tranquility. The food was good, though the wait at the beginning was perhaps a bit long, but overall it was good. Furthermore, after lunch, we visited the Crea Monastery, 1 km from the farmhouse. It was a beautiful day, and we recommend it to everyone.

09/10/2025: Very nice place, surrounded by greenery... Very kind staff, very generous portions (they went with seconds of practically the whole menu)... Everything was very good especially the fritters and the first course which were really excellent :) very fair price for the quality and quantity ❤️

15/01/2026: I go there often in the summer. BUT IN THE WINTER I STOPPED GOING YEARS AGO, BECAUSE IT'S FREEZING (and from the reviews I see that other people have complained about the temperature)!!! ❌ It's strange to me how the managers don't notice this problem, given that the last few times I went, people were even eating WEARING THEIR JACKETS!! Of course, the people working behind the oven don't notice, given that it's 30 degrees there... but in the rest of the place... WELL!!! Anyway, I'M STILL GIVING IT 5 STARS, BECAUSE THEY SERVE THE BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER EATEN IN **MY ENTIRE LIFE**. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recommend the tonnarelli cacio e pepe and the shin of pork, a delightful treat that stimulates the senses. Kudos to the chef 👏👏

14/01/2026: A while back, I tried a pizza here for dinner. It was good, but I wasn't thrilled. I didn't write anything about it because I wanted to try the food. Today, after the Spaghettoni with creamed broccoli, calamari, and hazelnut crunch—for the first course—and the Fritto misto Margherita with crunchy vegetables—for the second course—I can say without a doubt that these are the best dishes I've had in the area, even compared to some more prestigious places, which probably use different ingredients or employ less experienced chefs. A good bottle of Falanghina wine did the rest. The service is discreet, precise, and professional. The atmosphere is informal, quiet, and clean. The open kitchen speaks volumes about the owners' mission. The quality/price ratio is fair. There are plenty of parking spaces in the adjacent Piazza Garibaldi. It's a place I highly recommend.

11/01/2026: Mediocre atmosphere, expensive food for the quality, slow service. We split the bill between three people, and he verbally told us the rounded-up amount for each family, taking a full €1 off the total! Then, at the POS, he charged every last cent... not recommended.

10/01/2026: The meat is excellent, as are the appetizers and desserts. Next time I'll try the bagna cauda! Also great for lunch with friends, with quick and courteous service.

01/11/2025: Excellent burgers with fresh ingredients and just the right amount. Reasonably priced. It's a shame the place is cold (the heating was off on October 30th) and you can only choose one draft beer and two bottled ones, while the rest were sold out.

17/10/2025: I've known it for three years now, I've had lunch there several times after class at university, and I even decided to celebrate my graduation there (€15 each): they were very kind, the food was plentiful and delicious! Thanks again!!❤️

06/12/2025: A truly wonderful experience on a Saturday from Ponte Lungo. I returned to a place where I spent a few months in the military, breathing in a bright, airy urban space. Here, where BarMaffei once stood, you'll find sandwich artists in a casual setting. The hours are like those of a neighborhood bar, not late at night. The atmosphere is normal but warm and welcoming. Here, it's all about substance. In the sandwich, you'll find the ability to combine ingredients wrapped in a crispy ciabatta. Well done, and a lovely conversation with the young, beautiful counter assistant. Dish.

The place is fairly basic, quiet, a typical bistro offering a wide selection of sandwiches and a few "dishes of the day" (starters, main courses, and sides) at a relatively reasonable price. Outdoor seating is also available. Friendly staff, service times are average. Please review the opening hours on Google as they don't match those shown on the menu.
