28/07/2025: A rustic and welcoming restaurant where the food is truly delicious. The charcuterie and cheese platters are delicious and generous, featuring quality ingredients that reflect tradition. The blueberry risotto was a delightful surprise, balanced and flavorful. To finish, a fresh and creamy tropical fruit sorbet, truly excellent. We'll be back!

12/08/2025: We had the chance to discover the Bistrot Caffe della Basilica during our stay in Turin, and we are delighted! The place is simply magnificent: a cozy and elegant setting, perfect for enjoying a meal in a warm and authentic atmosphere. The service is impeccable, very attentive without being intrusive. We were the only tourists present that evening, surrounded by locals who seemed to truly appreciate the typical cuisine of Turin. This allowed us to taste traditional dishes in an authentic atmosphere, far from the tourist traps. A big thank you to the entire team for this moment of pure conviviality and gastronomy! We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover authentic Turin cuisine in an exceptional setting.

30/07/2025: The best pizza in Turin!!!! Fantastic pizzas you absolutely have to try! I recommend trying their Porchetta in a potato crust, you won't be able to do without it, just as you won't be able to do without this pizzeria! Once you try their pizzas, the others will no longer make sense! The staff is super professional and very kind!!! They deserve so much!!! Well done, well done!

06/09/2025: The food was very nice with big portions. We were all satisfied , and the price was very honest as well. I removed a star from the service just because we had to wait quite a long time for the drinks and food to arrive (it was quite busy...). For the atmosphere I removed a star because the setting could be a little nicer, with more Arabic touches and was maybe a little outdated (maybe by some guests this outdated interior is more appreciated due to its location in the heart of Balon).

24/08/2025: This ethnic restaurant, located near the Balon in Turin, has a refined atmosphere and offers a good selection of Moroccan dishes, served in generous, high-quality dishes. Service is fast, with friendly and helpful waiters. Good value for money.

14/07/2025: The food is good, almost cheaply priced for the quality of it, and the location is great Due to the inclement weather we sat inside in a finely decorated room with frescoes on the ceiling, but they also somehow have a lovely and big courtyard (in the middle of the town, I'd never would've expected that) But what really sets this place apart from the five hundred other restaurants in Gavi is the service We got there dressed like hobos as we planned to go trekking before rain changed our plans They still welcomed us like we were the royal family (in shorts and a tye dye shirt) Our waiter helped us choosing the wine, nailed it well out of the park, and changed the already fine standard red glasses for large Bordeaux glasses more appropriate for our wine Never seen this kind of service for a 30ish € bottle The waiters were never hovering over us, yet somehow had the almost uncanny ability to show themselves whenever we needed them well before we turned around to call for them The timing of the courses was the best I've seen so far: usually the next dish would be on our table the exact moment I'd think "I'm ready for the next one" We took our sweet time eating so we were the last couple at the restaurant Instead of being stroppy with us (which would have been justified honestly) they took us for a tour of the place and their lovely cantina I really cannot recommend this place enough, well thought dishes, fresh, often homegrown ingredients, and a service that gives new nuances to the meaning of the word "waiter"

13/05/2025: I am back home in California remembering our visit from May 2024. I absolutely love Gavi and have been there twice in the past 3 years.We dined at Cantine Del Gavi celebrating my sons birthday and mothers day. It was such a memorable experience and I realized I forgot to do a review with all the traveling we did in Italy last year. The service was phenomenal, food was outstanding and perfect wine was recommended. The staff and experience provided made a lasting impression on my son his fiancé and I. What a gem in such a charming and beautiful village. It is a lovely and beautiful ristorante and the food incredible. Grazie to the staff for a lasting memory.

09/06/2025: Castello di Gabiano 🏰 enchanting well cared for, we celebrated the birthday with a quality menu. The room manager Mrs. Nadia served us with attention, friendliness and great professionalism: attentive to every little need with kindness. The generous portions accompanied by the good wine produced by the Castle have fully satisfied all the guests. Thank you so much, we will gladly return also for a weekend with a swim in the pool.

25/08/2025: Yesterday we had dinner in a splendid location, excellent dishes and top-quality ingredients. Exclusive and very professional service. At the end of the dinner, a very pleasant tour of the winery was provided, with a great explanation from Riccardo, a member of the family who owns it. The staff and owners were fantastic. And we say this as fellow restaurateurs.

16/08/2025: I've been for dinner several times, and every time everything was top-notch, but this evening they exceeded all expectations. The fresh mushroom risotto was unbeatable in taste, cooking, and presentation. The fried fresh mushrooms were sublime; it was impossible to find even a single flaw. The mushrooms were excellent, the breading just right, not even the slightest trace of grease on the plate. You might say everything was normal, but that's not always the case. Besides a delicious dinner, there was so much more: a beautiful and well-kept setting surrounded by lush greenery and an oasis of peace, soft, very pleasant and relaxing background music, and extremely kind and helpful staff. You couldn't imagine anything better, so a heartfelt thank you to all the staff. Marcella.

07/09/2025: I found it by chance while browsing online, and given its lakeside location, I decided to go there for dinner with my relatives. Well, I couldn't have made a better choice! Beautiful view, clean, and quiet place, and besides the delicious food, the icing on the cake were the attentive, kind girls who accommodated my request, as it was my parents' anniversary! Truly the best! Congratulations! I recommend it and will gladly return.
