04/06/2026: This restaurant is located in a quaint alley in the center of Orta San Giulio, in a charming and quiet setting. The menu is simple and rustic, featuring some Piedmontese specialties such as bagna cauda and tartare (a type of meat stew). The charcuterie and cheese platter was rather generic; I would personally avoid the cooked ham, which doesn't particularly enhance the offerings. The overall impression is that the restaurant caters primarily to tourists, mostly foreigners. The real strength, however, is the welcome: both the young man serving the tables and the man I assume is his father are very friendly and genuine. While not particularly professional, they exude passion, friendliness, and a love for their work, contributing to a pleasant, family-like atmosphere. A simple, unpretentious place, but with an authentic soul.

04/06/2026: I stopped at this wine shop for an unusual aperitivo (I still had breakfast), where I tasted a glass of Erbaluce, a wine I wasn't familiar with, and it delighted my palate. The accompaniment was a hand-chopped beef tartare with cabbage and hazelnuts. Impeccably made, I enjoyed every bite. I'm sorry I couldn't make it back to buy something, but I had an unexpected setback. From what I saw, they have a well-stocked cellar, with a variety of labels and types of wine. They clearly know their craft, and I can't wait to return when I'm in the area.

20/05/2026: I went here when on a trip in Turin with my girlfriend. We were so well looked after for the whole meal and excellent staff who even did a special desert plate for my girlfriend’s birthday. Lovely local wines and delicious food. The Tiramisu was so good. Can’t fault it, we loved it. Side note it’s queer friendly as well

07/04/2026: A charming daytime bar and restaurant in a beautiful, modernly renovated historic courtyard. The coffee was excellent, as were the paninis. And if you get bored, you can pick up a book from the neighboring bookstore and relax in the courtyard.

16/12/2025: Everything was perfect, everything was delicious: anchovies in green sauce, tongue in green sauce, veal with tuna sauce, meatballs in tomato sauce, stew, baked potatoes, escarole, and a fantastic bunet. The atmosphere was intimate and delicious; we spent €25 for an appetizer, main course, side dish, wine, and dessert. I'll be back!

07/12/2025: After a morning at the market, we decided to book a table at this inn. A family atmosphere and friendly owners. A pleasant surprise, excellent food and great prices. The veal with tuna sauce was very good, the pasta carbonara was top-notch, as was the tripe. It's an old-fashioned piola, and when I say piola, I mean a restaurant where I eat well, spend relatively little, and don't find too many frills. It's a shame I don't live in Turin to be able to return more often. Congratulations

28/05/2026: In my opinion, a Trattoria isn't a restaurant. The price for what we ate was a bit too high. They don't hide a menu with prices, they tell you verbally (Menu). The photos on the website are prettier than the reality. Will I be back??? I don't recommend

11/05/2026: Let me start by saying we arrived without a reservation, we stayed outside, it was hot inside and very crowded. The pizza was good, but the wait was almost an hour. The staff was kind and apologized for the delay.

19/05/2026: We celebrated my son's first communion. There were 28 of us, and at least 50 others were eating. Excellent service, no delays, consistently good, high-quality food, and a casual atmosphere.
