We went as a couple on May 1st. It wasn't easy to find a seat given the large crowd, except at this wine shop where the wait was minimal. The service was very helpful and courteous, although the selection is limited. The cold cuts and cheese platter for two was a bit sparse, but still good. Plus, a half-liter bottle of water and a glass of Arneis, for a total of €35... well, that's about it.

Our favorite place. Excellent wine selection, great platter, and excellent bruschetta. Our daughter loves the bagna caoda. The staff is lovely, and Andrea is fantastic as always. I think we've loved this place for about twenty years, located in a wonderful location, Orta San Giulio.

Top-notch products, everything tastes great, and the service is friendly and uncomplicated. The appropriate distance from customers is appreciated. A special feature is the tables in the alleyway, which, on a mild day, can be a bit too cool for outdoor dining. I definitely recommend it.

Orta is always worth a visit, especially before the tourist season begins.
I had lunch at this small restaurant, choosing an outdoor table given the beautiful day. The platter of cured meats and cheeses was excellent, accompanied by a very tasty and unique grappa jelly. The accompanying bread was fresh and fragrant, which is often unusual.
Special mention for the wines: an Alta Langa with the platter and a Hungarian Tokaji with dessert, which I tried for the first time.
Highly recommended! See you next time!

The place is very small and dimly lit, but this creates a lovely atmosphere. The menu offers a limited selection, very simple and rustic. The charcuterie board is generous and very good, and the sausage cooked in wine is also very flavorful. I recommend this place for a casual, no-frills lunch or dinner. We had a great time.

An unusual and atmospheric place.
A small menu with typical dishes; I loved the bagna cauda (I'd never tried it before, thinking I didn't like anchovies) – paired with fresh vegetables and a good wine, it was simply delicious!
For appetizers, we had a platter of various cheeses, prosciutto, and salami.
The kids were initially a bit surprised not to see pasta or anything more familiar on the menu, but in the end, my son chose the sausage and my daughter the tartare, and we were all satisfied.
The place is very cozy, small, and warm. I didn't take photos to avoid people being in the frame.
