28/06/2025: Enttäuschendes Erlebnis im Ca’del Re – nie wieder! Unser Besuch im Ca’del Re war leider ein Reinfall auf ganzer Linie. Trotz vorheriger Reservierung wurde uns der gewünschte Tisch einfach nicht zugewiesen – keinerlei Entschuldigung, keine Lösung, einfach Ignoranz. Besonders ärgerlich war die vollkommen unflexible Haltung des Servicepersonals: Wir waren zu viert und wollten gerne zwei Menüs teilen, was in vielen guten Restaurants absolut üblich ist. Nicht so hier. Uns wurde unmissverständlich mitgeteilt, dass jeder ein komplettes Menü bestellen müsse – kein Entgegenkommen, kein Verständnis, nur starre Regeln, die offenbar vor allem dazu dienen, möglichst viel Geld aus den Gästen zu pressen. Das Ganze wirkte wie reine Touristenabzocke. Wer nicht bereit ist, sich auf Gäste einzulassen und stattdessen nur Umsatz maximieren will, hat unser Geld und unsere Zeit nicht verdient. Fazit: Das Ca’del Re lebt vielleicht von seiner Lage, aber sicher nicht von Gastfreundschaft oder Servicekultur. Wir kommen ganz sicher nicht wieder – und raten jedem, der Wert auf ein angenehmes kulinarisches Erlebnis legt, dringend ab.

03/06/2025: Sono stata con la famiglia in questo posto splendido per festeggiare il mio compleanno: scelto totalmente a scatola chiusa, è stata una vera rivelazione! Abbiamo pranzato in giardino, sotto un grande ciliegio, il personale è stato da subito cordiale e pronto per ogni esigenza ( abbiamo una bimba piccola). Menù sia tradizionale che più sperimentale: provati entrambi, impeccabili su tutta la linea! Prezzo nella media della zona ed equo per la qualità del cibo e del servizio.

06/08/2025: Purtroppo dopo la terza volta non può più essere un caso quindi faccio la mia recensione. tempo di attesa 1 ora per un antipasto che mi e arrivato assieme alla pizza precedentemente ordinata . Senza mettere foto e fare descrizioni particolari mi limito a dare i voti "antipasto" 2 mentre "pizza" 5 per i quali ho dovuto mangiare prima la pizza o si sarebbe raffeddata . Mi dispiace aver notato che amici e conoscenti danno un bellissimo voto 5 stelle cosi rovinando l 'esperienza ai poveri sprovveduti che si fidano delle varie recensioni

29/07/2025: Un’ottima soluzione per famiglie con bambini. Frequento il locale in estate, si può mangiare fuori, sulla piazza pedonale dove i bambini possono muoversi in sicurezza. Servizio velocissimo. A volte è capitato non avessero alcuni ingredienti (es.: castagne per la focaccia con lardo e miele) ma i piatti sono sempre buoni, materie prime di qualità e possibilità di scegliere tra diverse alternative, per tutti i gusti. Forse potrebbero ampliare ed essere in po’ più creativi sui dolci.

23/08/2025: Poor service, the woman who served me was very unfriendly, the pastry was bad and expensive, the dough was salty, the ground beef was undercooked and also salty, I do not recommend it.

27/10/2025: Passing through Domodossola, we had lunch with an excellent, well-cooked thin-crust pizza. The staff were friendly and the place was very charming.

27/10/2025: It was a Sunday, so it was packed. I must say, well done! Excellent, well-prepared, and extremely courteous service. Simple, traditional dishes, delicious, and flavorful. I'll say more about the polentaconcia, which I must say was good. There's an excellent selection of cheeses (I'm sure everyone will love it), but unfortunately, it's too modern for my childhood memories, when the polenta concia was so full of cheeses it changed the color of the corn, and the butter was toasted and aromatic. Sorry for the digression! Excellent wine selection! I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. Thank you, a wonderful experience.

02/06/2025: Worst kebab I've ever eaten, terrible kebab meat. We had stomach pains for 2 days.

27/07/2025: Delivery is always at least 20/30 minutes late from the scheduled time and when you order pizzas by phone they either don't answer or they do so but after trying 15 times (in short, you waste an hour ordering pizzas)... It's a shame because the pizza is good, but I don't think I'll even try to call again!

27/07/2025: I'm still Veronica Monzeglio but since I've already left a review I can no longer respond. However, this is precisely the problem: you don't answer half of the 4/5 numbers you have (I can say this with certainty because I've called all the numbers several times and among other things, most of the customer complaints are for this reason)!!! If you only had 1 I could still understand, but precisely because you have more! That aside, the problem is not now that you are on holiday (among other things, it's not even specified in the hours because you are open, so one might not know) but it is valid for the whole year because it has always happened! ZERO Organization, I hope for some change for you

10/09/2025: Excellent restaurant and pizzeria in the center of San Maurizio Canavese. Lovely outdoor seating area, and kudos to the waiters.

08/09/2025: I just moved to the area, and every Saturday my family eats pizza. We've tried other good pizzerias so far, but: €25 for 2 pizzas, 1 speranza, and 1 ruche. The ruche arrived wrong, with eggplant instead of red onion, and that's already bad because I get takeout pizzas, get home, open the box, and have to eat the eggplant, but it's okay, my mistake because I trusted them. Anyway, the tomato wasn't good, and in the ruche (without mozzarella), you could taste something wrong with the tomato. Anyway, I'll leave you with a photo that speaks for itself. By the way, I woke up this morning with a stomach ache and without having digested the pizza, so probably the dough didn't rise enough or I don't know, anyway, it's heavy, and it's not normal for me to take it to the bathroom the next morning. For €25 for these two pizzas, next time I'll get two more than decent maxi kebab pizzas.

28/09/2025: A pizzeria I chose by chance on The Fork and it turned out to be excellent... a welcoming and quiet atmosphere with friendly, professional and patient staff... delicious and very tasty pizzas... convenient parking... highly recommended

03/05/2025: It is not a simple location, but an enchanting paradise with a suggestive view of Lake Orta. It was the location of our wedding reception, which, due to its beauty, was able to amaze us and the guests. Marzia, the owner, is very kind and helpful. We highly recommend

10/10/2025: Confirming what's been said in previous negative reviews, reservation management is terrible. The reason for my cancellation was that Smartbox hadn't paid the property for a while... It's more than understandable, but what do customers have to do with it? Issues between partnerships should be handled differently. I found myself with a reservation made months ago that was cancelled less than two weeks before departure for a Saturday during high season (I booked months in advance for this reason in particular and, in fact, couldn't find any alternatives). I should point out that "trying" to call the customer twice without sending any further communication IS NOT ENOUGH to cancel the stay. I read in other reviews that the problem has been present for some time... perhaps you should have mentioned it a little earlier to explore other solutions? Honestly, you have my understanding; you even offered to stay and pay for the night, but I reiterate that customers shouldn't be treated this way, letting me know at the last minute months after booking. 1 star is already a lot.

05/10/2025: Dear Madam, I'm taking back the answer you gave me on my review, as I can't make another. You know very well how things went. Yes, you're a Smartbox customer, but when I asked why it was cancelled, you replied that you no longer worked with Smartbox, which isn't true because you're still there. My outburst of "Oh, how can I do it, because I need to stay in your area!"... You started babbling, hanging up on me and blocking the number. You didn't give me time to tell you that regardless of the box, I could have stayed. You were extremely rude, and to anyone who raises even a small issue with your actions, you respond to everyone the same way: that we're frustrated. I smile because I'm also doing your job, and this time I'm on the customer's side, not the other way around. I'd never even consider hanging up the phone, but rather finding solutions, as I always have. Rest assured, you really need it.

19/10/2025: The food is good. The food is a good size for two. We had the set menu for the evening, €30, including dessert and drinks. Excellent quality and price.

09/01/2025: All positive in the experience....the only sore point, not dependent on the structure, are the nearby church bells that ring day and NIGHT!!!
