L'Oasi Del Borgo In Cannobio

We went there for lunch. The food was very tasty, but the portions were small and the prices quite high for me. For two adults and a child, without any special occasion, we paid 90 euros.

Very family-friendly and the service was generally very friendly. The food was very good and our kids enjoyed it too!

Simply excellent. The very young waiter will win you over with his smile, kindness, and professionalism. Excellent food.

We had dinner here and enjoyed it a lot. We each had the antipasto/primo/secundo combination, which works well as the portion sizes are scaled with that in mind. I had an octopus-based antipasto, this was the only course that I felt was a point or two down from perfect. Hey, it was fine, but Cannobio is a long way from the sea :) so necessarily I suppose any octopus is thawed from frozen etc. Primo was seafood pasta, delicious, tasty pasta cooked to that perfect 'al dente' texture. Secundo was Lachsforelle, not sure what the English for that fish is. A delicate smoky taste, perfectly cooked. Service at the Oasi is prompt and friendly. We liked the perky younger waiter. :) Top marks. I'm only sorry we had to leave the next day and couldn't eat there again.

Probably the most child-friendly restaurant I know. We've been there twice already, and the staff is always incredibly friendly. The Pasta Bambini is practically free and really good. It arrived in less than ten minutes. The team knows exactly what's important when it comes to children. I just don't understand why there isn't a changing table in the restroom. There's definitely room for one. That's a shame. The food isn't outstanding, but it's really solid. However, the focaccia is absolutely fantastic!

A hidden gem away from the tourist crowds – a beautiful courtyard, very friendly service, and a somewhat unusual menu with excellent food... we were completely satisfied.

Fast service, very hot in the courtyard under the canopy. Although the staff is nice, the food is not special.
