31/08/2025: We had a quick dinner because we had an event to attend. Excellent food and impeccable service. The only thing that made me smile sadly was the "electricity and gas" item on the bill. The law doesn't require it, and it shouldn't be displayed.

26/08/2025: Overall, a good restaurant, but I would have expected something more considering the price. The dishes are good; I had the risotto cooked in a cheese mold, more for show than anything else. Pork pluma with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions. Good but nothing exceptional; the side dishes weren't well-mixed, with some bites having too much vinegar. The red wine was served too hot, as it was taken from the shelf in the dining room. Friendly staff.

17/08/2025: We went here for a family dinner! The place is wonderful, a cabin in the woods surrounded by trees. Magical. The food is sublime. Everything was authentic and flavorful, from appetizers to dessert. We tried the entire menu (until the end, which is a real achievement for me 🤣) and I must say that many delicious dishes were served. The photos speak for themselves. The service was simple but courteous, and the server was very kind. Definitely worth a try, they were excellent!

17/08/2025: Excellent Sunday lunch, delicious food. A generous selection of eight appetizers, as pictured. Two first courses: tagliatelle with mushrooms and plin. Second course: rabbit and veal roulade, potatoes on the side, and dessert. Everything was delicious, authentic, and so plentiful that we couldn't finish everything. The restaurant is very bright and the staff are friendly. Overall, this is our second time there and we'll be back! Highly recommended!

13/08/2025: The place's location, not exactly central, helps ensure a buzz and party until late at night. This is the secret to its success, not the food, which I found to be very mediocre. So if you want a lively atmosphere and young waiters, this is the place, but if you want good food for what you pay anyway... no, go elsewhere.

13/07/2025: Very nice alternative to the Pizza. The Piadina is light and delicious. The products are of excellent quality. The bresaola was amazing, so tender it was melting under my tongue. If you’re a big eater, one is not going to be enough though.

18/07/2025: I just celebrated my birthday with an incredible coconut cake from this bakery! The cake was delicious and held together well despite the 36-degree heat. I highly recommend this bakery. The lady behind the counter was very kind. The price was reasonable. I'll be back for more celebrations.

28/05/2025: Even though it is a place a little out of this world, it doesn't need advertising because on any Tuesday in May I was there it was practically full, and it is not that small. In any case, it is a real restaurant that at lunchtime weekly has a fixed menu like a trattoria (complete at 13 euros in May 2025), a wide and good choice of dishes, right portions and restaurant quality, decent bulk wine but for those who want to spend a little more there is a nice choice of bottles of local wines (Ovada doc area).

20/08/2025: The premises are promising, with good menu ideas and dishes, though the chef uses a lot of foams and mousses. The quality-price ratio is poor, especially considering the location. The wine list is excellent, but with bottles reaching €350, a bit touristy. I don't think I'll be back.

17/08/2025: We made a reservation here based on our campsite's recommendation. Very friendly and attentive staff. The wait time between courses was just right. The food was excellent from appetizer to dessert. Highly recommended.

01/09/2025: Delicious, inventive, and unique pizzas that you won't find everywhere. Quality dough and fresh ingredients ensure that, despite some seemingly simple choices, they're never banal. I've been wanting to go there for a while now because it was recommended. It's packed, even at the end of the season, which speaks highly of their products. (One detail that I didn't find insignificant is the hilarious parrot upstairs, who accompanies all the guests with his lively chatter.)

28/06/2025: We chose the Meiro restaurant in Castelmagno for the trip of the grandparents from Villastellone and we feel like recommending it highly! The location is fantastic and very spacious with a splendid view of its mountains. Susanna who followed us from the beginning, was able to accommodate all our requests, everything was perfectly organized. The staff was very kind and professional. Everything was perfect, excellent cuisine from the appetizers to the cake, we received only compliments. We couldn't have made a better choice.

15/06/2025: Having recently done a trek in the beautiful Valle Grana (Cuneo) I had the pleasure and fortune of staying at La Meiro where the Swiss group with whom I walked for six days was welcomed by the friendly and courteous Mrs. Susanna who made us feel at home. Excellent aperitifs, dinners and breakfasts, but also sandwiches for packed lunches. Here you can find the true and unique Castelmagno cheese, produced according to the rules of the art. It is delicious! THANKS SUSANNA!

28/08/2025: Very nice place, very polite and friendly staff, fair prices, good and non-trivial food... I would have given 5 stars also for this aspect if the menu for vegans or vegetarians had been more extensive... anyway, I will gladly return.
