Dentro carino, servizio acerbo fatto tutti da ragazzi molto giovani e alle prime armi, quindi migliorabile ma accettabile.. piatti proposti buoni, conto perfettamente nella media, una buona alternativa in zona

15/07/2025: In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Alessandria: the Orecchia di Elefante (truly enormous, worth a meal alone) is unmissable, but the rest of the menu is equally excellent. The service is impeccable, full of attentiveness. The ambiance, consisting of the dining rooms and the outdoor seating area, is very refined. A wide selection of wines, including the bulk Barbera and Nebbiolo. Highly recommended!

04/08/2025: Great food! Highly recommend the focaccia with burrata - simply divine! Service was quick and efficient. Great choice of food and ingredients. Reasonable prices. We had a table outside the restaurant and despite the little drizzle of rain we remained dry! This restaurant seems popular - we did not have a reservation, the restaurant was full both inside and out, but we only waited for about ten minutes to be seated and enjoy our dinner.

12/08/2025: This is such an amazing traditional and friendly restaurant. The chef prepared all the food all by himself, he is a one man show, and adapted the meals to suit preferences. The service was sooooooooo lovely. They prepared a special pasta for my 4-year-old daughter. I ordered sword fish and my husband ordered the beef fillet with wine. My aunt ordered the sphaghetti with prawns. The beef is a must try dish. The wine flavour is so rich, so special that I have never tried in my life and I came from a food paradise. We also tried the fried porcini mushrooms and caprese salad, both were intensein flabours and amazing. The entrance of the restaurant was small and might not be appealing. However, this is a restaurant you must try when you are in Turin.

08/08/2025: Excellent food at reasonable prices... the only downside, if you could call it that, is that with many tables occupied the atmosphere becomes noisy and if you want to spend dinner chatting with someone it becomes a little difficult.

07/08/2025: A gem of a family restaurant. A Tuesday lunchtime was full of lively family groups. The food was spectacular - our best meal in many visits to Italy. We had the rabbit (phenomenal) and pesto (also spectacular). Warm service and a cozy atmosphere. Oh! And a little bag of biscotti with your coffee! I can't recommend them enough.

14/08/2025: Simply the best lunch of my entire life, a combination of goodness, abundance, kindness, quality of products perfectly cooked in accordance with a tradition that is almost no longer found anywhere, all at a ridiculous price. An honor to have been guests in this corner of paradise. Thank you so much..

05/08/2025: My partner and I went to this restaurant for the second time, serving a typically Piedmontese menu, remembering the positive experience we had a few years ago. Our impressions were absolutely confirmed, even though the menu has changed somewhat (perhaps due to the COVID pandemic, which, for example, meant they couldn't bring cold cuts and the like to the table on a board where everyone cuts their own portion and then passes it to another table: it was amazing!!!) It's not a place where you'd whisper between diners, but that's not the reason you choose Gemma's. The prices are still reasonable, the staff are friendly, and the owner is a fiery and indomitable woman! Keep up the good work, and we'll definitely be back (assuming we can book, which is the only real downside of this place!)
