18/06/2025: A traditional Piedmontese restaurant, specializing in fish, with spectacular pasta dishes, good wine, and very attentive service. We were treated very well and with great professionalism. We really enjoyed all the dishes (flan di verdure, tagliolini, ravioles della valvaraita - a wonderful discovery, I highly recommend), the wine, and the homemade sweets. Good vegetarian options, very nice waiters, and a traditional tavern, with a lot of love for the cuisine, in Vanchiglia to which I will return without hesitation.

11/08/2025: Nice place, very nice outside. Last night it was very hot, and in the room to the left of the bakery we suffered from the lack of fans/air conditioning. The plastic chairs didn't help. Friendly staff, even they were hot :-) Pizzas, beers, spaghetti with clams were good, even the desserts, although we found them small and a bit pricey. We'll be back to try the fish.

03/08/2025: We had been to this place in February and had a great time. Unfortunately, I have to say something else today: the dishes were the same, but the ingredients had deteriorated. The mussels were salty, they no longer served toasted bread, but focaccia. The fried food was edible, but smaller and no longer of the same quality. There was also another problem with the final bill. Unfortunately, I only noticed at home that they charged me an extra 1-liter carafe of wine, €12. I had already read shady things about it, but now it seems to be becoming a habit. I'll start by saying that it's also my fault for not checking the receipt immediately.

03/09/2025: It happened to me several times to order ice cream cups, medium and mostly large, so I expected there to be more ice cream, given that they cost more than the small ones, instead on 5 occasions they put ice cream just above the cup, something that has never happened with the small ones, and I heard, from the person who served me, when I complained about the small amount of ice cream in these large cups, that the owner says that the quantity of the large ones is that he puts little, ice cream so I don't understand, I pay more to have less ice cream? Ah, there is no discussion about the quality of the ice cream.

04/09/2025: This summer, I went to a dinner with a pre-arranged menu. Having disclosed my lactose intolerance, I was offered a full menu with sophisticated, elaborate, and excellent dishes. The customer service was top-notch; I'll gladly return.

13/07/2025: My husband and I dined at this restaurant, drawn by other reviews, and I must say our expectations were not disappointed. The service was friendly and cheerful, the portions were generous, the quality was truly high, and the plating was meticulous. My husband had a risotto with porcini mushrooms, saffron, and quail, which was decidedly satisfying. Its flavor was intense, but unfortunately it was a little overcooked. It should have been kept a little more to the Agente, but I imagine that given the success of the other dishes, it was a casual mistake. I instead had squares of pasta filled with nettles with a carbonara sauce, whose flavor filled the palate without being too heavy. We concluded the dinner with a cheesecake. The price was adequate for the quality and quantity of the dishes offered, €50 per person, and it's a place we'll definitely return to. Bravo!

30/06/2025: The strategic position in the square induces you to stop but as Dante said, look and pass by... Don't care about them. Overcooked risotto leaving aside the flavor, made with poor ingredients (but not the price). Second course proposed: aubergine parmigiana served in a rustic terrine... Too bad it had a smoky taste even regardless of the presentation. We avoided going further...

12/07/2025: An intimate trattoria, with simple but well-presented dishes, normal portions, and fair prices... it's definitely not a run-of-the-mill trattoria/osteria, but rather a welcoming place that makes you feel at home. Rustic rock walls add a touch of charm to the place... kudos!

I can't help but say it was a delightful experience from start to finish: the staff was attentive to every detail, with a warm smile and a helpful attitude that made us feel right at home. From the moment we walked in, we received a warm welcome, and the entire team demonstrated rare professionalism and kindness. The dishes? Wow, the portions were so generous we had to ask for a doggie bag (and we didn't mind at all!), and the flavor... truly exceptional! The pizza, in particular, with its crispy crust and ultra-fresh ingredients, made all the difference. Special thanks to Chef Franca, whose passion transformed every dish into a true pleasure. Bravo, truly! I recommend everyone to come here: you won't be disappointed!
