The restaurant has a very family feel. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. Both meat and fish are excellent. I'd say I'd lean toward the fish menu, which I think is the restaurant's highlight. A must-try for a pleasant dinner or lunch, alone or with friends.

Impeccable service and friendly staff, unfortunately there was no air conditioning and it was very hot in July. Excellent quality fish.

Generous dishes, with good ingredients, but not treated properly. The strascinati with broccoli rabe and clams are interesting. The tagliatelle with tomato sauce aren't tagliatelle, but rather spaghetti alla chitarra. The mixed fried fish isn't "mixed," but just lots of calamari, 4 peeled shrimp, and 3 anchovies (not worth it, just get the fried calamari). Despite the wood-fired oven, I wouldn't recommend the pizza because I found it raw underneath. The fries were raw. The Falanghina DOC wine on the menu is actually an IGT from another winery. I trusted it and, for the first time in my life, abandoned an almost full bottle. I found the staff friendly. The Saturday night chaos probably played a nasty trick on me.

The food was truly excellent, but unfortunately the pleasant atmosphere of the lunch was ruined by the rudeness of the blonde waitress, who was clearly annoyed and didn't hide it. She often rolled her eyes, and when you asked for something, she didn't even give you time to finish speaking; she just walked away and didn't even bring you what you asked for. On the other hand, I assume the owner was very nice, kind, and polite.

I've been frequenting this restaurant for many years, and it's always a positive experience. The quality of the food is excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. The staff is always friendly. A restaurant I always want to return to, and one I recommend without hesitation to anyone who wants to eat truly well.

I was there this evening for grilled fish and a seafood appetizer. Everything was plentiful and very good. I'll definitely be back to try the pizza, which some friends ordered and I was very impressed with. The owner was very kind and attentive. I'll definitely be back.

15/05/2026: This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. A very friendly atmosphere. It reminds me of my grandmother's house. Unpretentious, home-style cooking and incredible service.
25/04/2026: A one-of-a-kind trattoria, I'd say. (I've visited a lot of restaurants and trattorias in 35 years of working as a truck driver.) The owner is very friendly and does the job of four people: he welcomes customers, waits tables, prepares coffee, and even takes care of the cash register! The food is good, from appetizers to dessert. All this for only €25, including water, wine, and coffee. I'll definitely be back soon!

Agriturismo Cascina Barbassa

06/07/2026: Yesterday we had lunch at this place, chosen at random because it's on the road. I can say that everything was excellent, from the friendliness, to the service, to the food, and... from the appetizers to the dessert. I can definitely say that the value for money is truly exceptional. I highly recommend it.
07/06/2026: It's hard to tell the difference between a restaurant and a farmhouse if it weren't for the ingredients used in the dishes: right from the appetizers, you can tell they're carefully prepared fresh with local, if not homemade, products. The flavors are intense and subtle, like the jams that accompany the tomini cheeses, which you might call "spumini." Moving on to the first courses, a perfect combination of zucchini and porcini mushrooms made me realize the flowers for the "fiori in battella" were home-grown, though I would have allowed the rice to cook a few seconds longer. The agnolotti with a sweet roast sauce really stands out when paired with the second course! Finally, there's a panna cotta, which you might call panna cotta flowers for its freshness. Generous portions, yet not overwhelming. Finish with a "scarpetta" (a dish made with breadcrumbs). The elegant and bright restaurant features exposed brick walls reminiscent of an old farmhouse, reflecting the theme of the setting. The young, professional staff, with their kindness, make you feel at home. The owners' greeting underlines a friendly contact with the diners.
