20/07/2025: Wooow! No teníamos expectativas - acabamos de llegar a la ciudad después de un viaje muy largo - era un domingo, así que muchos de los restaurantes cerraron. Aparcamos justo fuera de la puerta - y éramos el único. El chef tradujo toda la tarjeta del menú - y donde había un problema “Google” lo manejó 😉 Todos ( 3 ) pedimos diferentes comidas -normalmente NUNCA tengo un entrante Y también un postre, pero después de las dos primeras comidas tenía tanta curiosidad que NECESITABA el postre - y no me decepcionó! (Tenía el “tiramisu”) pero los otros postres eran igualmente buenos! Tuve una buena botella de Chianti Classico 2021 - que era perfecto y un moscato de asti para postre - delicioso! !! Podría ser porque solo estábamos nosotros ahí dentro - pero el buen ROCK/POP estaba sonando encantador a todo volumen desde los altavoces - lo cual fue GENIAL! Sin duda volveremos a hacer esto la próxima vez que estemos aquí!

Just under €40 per person for 2 dishes each, water and 1 glass of wine The menu published on the website is to be appreciated

04/09/2025: I've been waiting a long time to try this restaurant. The food is excellent, I already knew that (I worked for a well-known Turin family who often used the takeout service). When we entered, we were greeted with the usual, appreciated courtesy. The dining rooms and outdoor seating are very beautiful, but I noticed several "anomalies" (this is, of course, my personal opinion): . The staff doesn't wear uniforms, other than a T-shirt with the restaurant's name. In fact, I counted at least seven pairs of shoes of different types and/or colors. . The restrooms are absolutely not up to par with the restaurant. . There were two of us, and the dishes we chose weren't served together (the wait was long). . A few other minor details (I noticed them due to professional deformation). 26/08/2025: An oriental restaurant with fairly good food, but the prices are a bit high in my opinion. The service is friendly, but the spacing between tables could definitely be increased; there's no privacy whatsoever.

08/07/2025: After a lovely via ferrata in the mountains near Chiaronto, we called the refuge to see if they were still available for lunch. Our estimated arrival time at the refuge was 4:00 PM. They were very kind and offered us unlimited menu options. The dishes were carefully selected, with unusual pairings, and were delicious. A truly beautiful place to spend a few relaxing hours. A wonderful experience, we'll be back!

16/06/2025: We returned after several years, and I must say that the quality has not changed, indeed it has even improved, in a now very sad and all the same panorama of all you can eat at rock-bottom prices and questionable food, they are positioned much higher, relaxed atmosphere with good music, kind service, and spectacular food, excellent wine list and digestives, compliments! I reconfirm everything, we were in June 2025 FANTASTIC

06/06/2025: Hizumo Sushi & Sake stands out as the best sushi in Fossano, offering dishes prepared with great care and an elegant and well-kept environment. The service is good, although slightly overvalued in relation to the overall proposal. The rice, a crucial element for quality sushi, is discreet but not excellent. Despite the careful presentation and attention to detail, the overall quality does not reach the levels of real Japanese restaurants, leaving a bitter taste in the mouth for those looking for a more authentic experience. The prices, decidedly high compared to a rather limited offer, are not fully reflected in the quality of the dishes and the service. The selection of wine labels is remarkable, with some important proposals, but overall the quality/price/service ratio does not appear entirely adequate. A good address for those looking for sushi of a higher level than the local average, but not an unmissable destination for lovers of authentic Japanese cuisine.

In a place called "l'Astoria da Mauro" I expect at least some reference to the USTA (it's not that I want the Astoria di Udine, but at least a t-shirt or something...) but above all "da Mauro"... one expects to see MERE of the UDA, or at least one of his VERY NICE goliardic writings, but nothing, not even half a Masaniello...

27/07/2025: The place is very nice and welcoming, as is the owner. The food is good and there are some tasty dishes to try. Its location near the Olympic Stadium and other sports facilities makes it a strategic spot if you want to stop before attending an event and eat well.

02/08/2025: Stopped by for a meal and was more than satisfied. Truly quality food, expertly prepared. The service was truly professional and polite. The prices were more than fair, if not even low. It's truly a place I'd gladly return to, because places like this no longer exist. For a tourist, it's the place where, once back home, they can only speak highly of Italian cuisine. Highly recommended, and I hope to stop by again, because I'll definitely pop in...❤️
