29/09/2025: We opted for a fish menu. The menu and the staff were perfect, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was also perfect. If you're staying in Moreno Calabro, you should definitely stop by for a meal!

01/12/2025: We just had dinner at this restaurant. What a lovely discovery! The dishes are of impeccable quality and delicious!! We tried spaghetti with clams and a caponata—a real treat!! Fresh grilled squid and an octopus and potato salad were all delicious, and the olive oil was divine! The waiter was very friendly and efficient! And what can I say about the excellent value for money!!! Half the price of what we pay here on the French Riviera!! A big thank you to the whole team! I definitely plan to go back before I leave Palermo!!!

23/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant with family. I must say it truly exceeded all our expectations. We often eat out at restaurants, and I must say that from three o'clock until dessert, the food was a feast for the palate. The service was prompt and very friendly. Excellent wines. I highly recommend booking in advance, as we missed out on Saturday evenings twice because this place is always packed.

22/11/2025: DISAPPOINTING SERVICE I'm sorry to say this, but I can't describe tonight's dinner any better than "quite disappointing." We came after hearing positive feedback from quite a few people. We arrived at 9:10 PM, and our order was taken around 9:40 PM. 1. The welcome entrée? Two shrimp literally thrown on the salad, without sauce, when the couple next to us actually had sauce; 2. The wine list only offers bottles, with no option for a simple glass of wine; 3. The first course that arrived? The side dish, brought without even plates; 4. At 10:10 PM, we rightly asked if the grilled food we ordered was ready, and it magically appeared; 5. The potatoes we ordered as a side dish were always hard, so we left them. Nothing can be said about the grilled food; the fish was good, especially the calamari. 6. The owner (I think), having realized once we got home that we hadn't ordered anything else and that our faces spoke volumes, decided to "offer" us the pastry and liqueurs, which she had her colleague at the bar prepare. She put everything on the counter, on a tray, with a thousand other trays of dirty glasses, etc., next to it. Obviously, we didn't take any of this, because they could have handled everything better during service and not covered their backs by offering the pastry. NB: I'm attaching a photo of the salad, which is enough on its own; the naked shrimp, left to their own devices, aren't needed, and a photo of us playing while we waited for dinner.

08/11/2025: I really don't recommend it. I had the ravioli with crispy bacon and strozzapreti with truffle... the bacon was completely burnt and the sauce was disappointing. Not to mention the appetizer, €30 for items I can literally find at Eurospin. Disappointing.

02/11/2025: A GUARANTEE! I've been eating at Ovosodo for years and it's never disappointed me, whether I've had pasta, pizza, or meat, not to mention the EXCELLENT sandwiches. Huge portions, excellent quality, mouth-watering desserts. A restaurant I always recommend. The staff is kind, professional, and never pushy. Truly excellent restaurant 🤩

10/12/2025: We were with a tour so had a 3 course meal for €30 was weak worth it and such great food. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Such fast service too! I definitely recommend!

01/12/2025: I wish I could remember the wonderful servers name- he was so fantastic. He catered to our non- traditional requests. Our daughter just would never finish a multi course dinner and he was understanding. We just wanted to try a little of everything that makes this reg special. The food was great- especially the tagliatelle with lemon and shrimp and the local fish. He took us on a quick tour of “the well” in the basement and then shared stories of the flood in 2011. He packaged up the wine we didn’t finish- which was a great sorta local recommendation.

10/12/2025: We went for lunch on Immaculate Conception Monday with 4 people, well-kept environment with a Christmassy atmosphere, we found seats immediately, very varied menu and we ate very well, fast, kind and friendly staff

02/08/2025: Prima volta da loro a cena in tre, su suggerimento di un’altro chef. Esperienza ottima, locale garbato in darsena, cenato nel patio. Maestoso crudo di pesce, spaghettini alle arselle fresche fa-vo-lo-si, un buon dentice al forno con le olive e patate. Tutto freschissimo e ben presentato. Servizio impeccabile fatto da giovani preparati. Abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di vino inusuale e la temperatura non era perfetta. Prezzi accettabili in proporzione alla grande qualità. Digestione perfetta. Torneremo

04/12/2025: Lunch. Food and ambience are wonderful! The lentil soup was delicious. I also had the ravioli recommended by the waiter, and it was perfect.

14/11/2025: A very good restaurant specializing in Sicilian cuisine. Despite being in a very touristy area, the prices remain reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent. The terrace is lovely, offering a pleasant setting to enjoy your meal.

07/12/2025: I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant at the recommendation of someone who had tried it before me and was thrilled. Well, my family and I felt the same enthusiasm at the end of the dinner! The dishes offered are truly delicious; both in quality and quantity, you really can't complain. Starting with a shared focaccia sets the tone for what will be an unforgettable dinner for everyone who passes by. Fresh fish, original preparations, incredibly light fried dishes, and desserts that are unlike any other. All this at a competitive price, absolutely fair compared to the many repetitive options found in our area. Highly recommended!
