09/12/2025: I visited around 1:00 PM on November 29, 2025. Since it's by the sea, I ordered seafood pasta. They also had seafood fried rice, so I was thinking about ordering those, but looking at the photos, the base looked exactly the same, so I ended up ordering tomato vongole pasta and pesto pasta. In conclusion, everything was delicious, but the seafood pasta was the best. I can't believe how they captured the flavor of the seafood so well. Trust me, and just order the seafood pasta. Even as I'm writing this review, I regret not ordering the fried rice as well. If you're wondering what to eat, just order both. The staff and the owner are all so friendly. We had a great time! La Spezia was a stop on the way to Cinque Terre, and the quiet atmosphere of the city made it hard to leave so quickly. (Update) This was the best meal I had during my 15-night, 17-day trip to Italy. The second-best was the shrimp oil pasta I had in Verona. If you come here, you absolutely must try the seafood pasta, "Furte di Mare."

19/12/2025: A good sushi place in Arezzo, the food is good and the service is quick. I ordered the lunch menu, which includes: - a choice of rice (salmon, shrimp, etc.) - a miso soup - a salad - a choice of grilled fish (salmon, tuna, etc.) - a choice of main course (pasta, sushi, gyoza, and other options) The menu price will then be based on the selected main course (e.g., choose uramaki, and the menu price will be the same as the uramaki; choose gyoza, and the price will be the same as the gyoza, etc.). The menu, besides being quite substantial, wasn't too expensive either; having chosen uramaki, the bill came to €11 this time, I think. A small criticism: the uramaki fell apart a bit too much this time, but overall, they were good. I'll definitely be back!

29/10/2025: I went to Aka Taiyoo in Arezzo and had a truly wonderful meal! I ordered the tiger roll, the shrimp rice (delicious!), and the spicy salmon. All the dishes were carefully prepared, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. It's a shame I didn't take photos, because they were absolutely beautiful to look at! Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

06/12/2025: I'll start by saying I can't rate the food since we left. That said, I do rate the welcome/service, and in this case, unfortunately, I can't give less than 1. Reservation, as shown in the photo, made online and CONFIRMED by the owner on December 3, 2025, for the evening of December 5, 2025, at 8:00 PM. As soon as we entered and told the lady at the counter the name of the reservation, we were met with an extremely rude response, "Oh, yes, booked 15 minutes ago?"! The reservation wasn't recorded. Subsequently, the reservation made by email by my friend was arrogantly questioned. She, given the difficulty, would have also agreed to an aperitif; too bad we'd booked for dinner. The owner wanted to see and check his email, and only after a little discussion admitted the mistake and "fixed it" by literally trying to scrounge up a table for two. At that point, however, the behavior of the lady first, and then of the aforementioned man, had annoyed me to the point that I didn't want to stay there another minute. Unfortunately for them, I'm constantly in contact with bars, restaurants, etc. And I don't tolerate certain behavior from those who deal with, and especially NEED, the public. So, I strongly advise these gentlemen to be humble, smile generously, and remember that they own a tavern in a completely anonymous country village. You can't live forever with a clientele of first- or second-class, and only friends of... Evidently, you can imagine who the positive reviews come from. Or believing they could be rude to non-regulars. In fact, a couple of smiles and an apology would have been enough, and perhaps the matter would have been resolved. But arrogance and presumption trump common sense and the foundations of hospitality. That said, the place has a convenient and close parking lot next door, making it easy to get away without having to walk too far.

07/12/2025: A well-deserved five-star experience, a unique, romantic evening. The appetizers were delicious, the homemade tagliolini were delicious and delicate. My partner and I shared a sea bream, cooked to perfection. The dessert, millefeuille, was also impeccable. I'm adding photos because they speak for themselves. Prices over €100 per person are truly fair.
