12/10/2025: Excellent, we were directed by the lady at the hotel where we had booked for the weekend. On Friday, October 10, for lunch, we were greeted by Mirco with kindness, friendliness, and great professionalism. Tasty appetizers, superb spaghetti with squid ink, with an excellent fried main course. The complimentary spread of soft butter with an anchovy aftertaste was special. The well-stocked wine cellar. A lovely keepsake for our old man's 91st birthday. The usual "we'll be back" is unnecessary, as we had such a wonderful dinner the next evening.

03/08/2025: Very welcoming atmosphere. I went with my two German shepherds by reservation and was welcomed without any problems, with a dedicated table (adequate space for both of our furry friends). Impeccable service, fast and extremely friendly. The quality of the ingredients is truly high, and I found the price to be fair. The portions were just right, not too much, not too little. The ideal place if you like excellent seafood without too much fuss. I drank very well without spending a fortune. Private parking. I will definitely be back.

06/09/2025: Passing through Cupra Marittima, we dined at "Il Porticciolo" on two evenings. Everything was delicious. We favored the first courses and tried four different ones, enjoying them all. Generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, just as we like it. Tables overlooking the sea, sky, and beach are available. The staff is very courteous, and the young owner is smiling, friendly, and has a spontaneous approach that immediately puts you at ease and makes you feel welcomed. No photos of the dishes because we ate them right away! We'll definitely be back!

The anchovy crostoni were a pleasant surprise, as was the freshly baked bread with butter and cream, which added a unique touch to the dining experience. The quality of the ingredients is evident and showcased beautifully in every dish. The dishes, though sometimes simple, are prepared with great care, and the variety on the menu caters to different tastes and preferences. Dishes like the octopus ragù and spaghetti with amberjack ragù were truly well-prepared, rich in flavor, and very fresh. The wine selection was another highlight, with a good selection that included delicious local options like the SP68 Bianco Arianna, which proved to be an excellent accompaniment to the meal. Although the price may seem high to some, considering the quality and atmosphere of the restaurant, I find the experience well-justified. Ummara is a restaurant that offers a good combination of quality, service, and ambiance, and I highly recommend trying it for a pleasant and relaxing dinner.
