I really loved smoked sword fish, but unfortunately didn’t like at all la tagliata (most probably my mistake and I have had to order fish), the meat was tough 🥩

14/11/2025: We were on a school trip, and this restaurant was our go-to for dinner.
What can I say? Excellent food and a cute, quiet place, but what most drew us to this place was the staff's extreme hospitality.
The added bonus, however, was Mou, the owner,
an extraordinary person: welcoming, reliable, attentive, and helpful.
And her husband, the chef, prepared delicious meals that satisfied everyone, especially us kids.
Highly recommended.

11/12/2025: The restaurant's location isn't great, but it's clean and well-kept, with a refined interior and tables spaced apart. It's well-attended and not too noisy. The dishes? Truly excellent and refined: the sea bass and fresh porcini carpaccio is beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The wine is very good. The service is impeccable.
Overall, I recommend it, but be careful, it's not a cheap place: for two of us, we spent over €100 without exaggerating, and for two, we had two appetizers, one first course, and a generous second course.
11/12/2025: Discovered on a recommendation from someone who lives in the area, I found myself in one of the absolute best restaurants I've ever eaten at.
Seafood-focused, it offers original dishes with exceptional quality ingredients!
The artichoke with baby octopus among the appetizers is unforgettable!
Very extensive wine list
The incredibly kind staff, attentive to every need of every table (they were full) always with a smile and great professionalism.
The dessert menu is equally impressive, even offering some French varieties.
Homemade bread and biscuits.
I highly recommend it... It's important to book well in advance.

04/12/2025: We were a little hesitant at first because the restaurant was completely empty, and we initially thought it wasn't open. However, we went in anyway, and the owner, who also serves as waiter and cook, gave us a warm welcome. It's a small, family-run restaurant.
The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The salad was very simple and uninspired, but fresh and tasty nonetheless. The presentation could be a bit more appealing, but that's not really as important as the taste.
In any case, we felt very welcome and comfortable there. We would definitely come back.

02/11/2025: Beautiful and charming location in the heart of Tropea. But I really can't say enough about the deliciousness of the food I tasted. I didn't go for typical products, but for classic seafood and meat dishes. I don't recommend the seafood appetizers; they're really nothing special. The ravioli with shrimp and scallops were good. Otherwise, everything was normal, with excessive prices. The wait for the food was exaggerated, despite the good service and numerous staff. Worth a look.

The charming atmosphere begins right at the entrance, where you stand on a glass platform overlooking the old wine cellar.
The tables are well spaced. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and conversation.
Luckily, we reserved a table.
Very attentive service.
Delicious bread served in a paper bag. The €2 cover charge is reasonable.
Good selection of typical Italian dishes.
We enjoyed the food, and the meat was exceptionally tender.

13/10/2025: Sitting at @dallagioconda's Golden Table didn't disappoint. A picture-perfect location, the table with the best view, a completely customizable menu, a crescendo of flavors and combinations that leave a lasting impression.
@davidedifabio's touch is elegant, creative, and decidedly pop.

26/09/2025: Immediately became one of my favourite places in Italy. Location is super cool and the food is extremely good. All dishes were very powerful (I like that) but equally not too complex where you don’t understand what you are eating. The Chef told us he was 16 yrs at Osteria Francescana - it was for me 3x better and I would definitely come again to Dalla Gioconda.
Also the rooms are great and the breakfast ist amaizing. Highly recommend!

27/11/2025: We had our best lunch in Florence here. Authentic local restaurant with some modern twist. This is not your regular touristic restaurant with same generic mediocre dishes, this is actually a real restaurant with great food, reasonable prices and amazing wine menu.
25/11/2025: A truly superb dinner at il Guscio, on the Oltrarno side of Firenze.
Starters: fried carciofi with stracciatella, cinghiale prosciutto, and puff pastry with robiola, a zucchini flan, & baked scamorza cheese.
Pastas: pappardelle with rabbit ragù & black olives, paccheri with n’duja, cherry tomatoes & burrata, risotto with Gorgonzola.
Main course: veal cheek in a red wine sauce with mashed potatoes and escarole & olives.
We also had an excellent bottle of Poliziano Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
My family has been coming to this restaurant for years and it remains one of my favorites.
