30/08/2025: We visited Azzura two years ago and it was an amazing experience. The view was astonishing, the food delicious, and the staff very friendly. We were so happy that we went back once more during the same stay. It fully met our expectations, and we even had the chance to congratulate and thank the Chef! We’re looking forward to coming back soon and definitely recommend you to visit it!

30/08/2025: Excellent restaurant! In Macari, a very quiet village near San Vito lo Capo, we found a place to eat well with a breathtaking view! The busiate Azzurra Makari were delicious! We'll be back!

07/09/2025: We came here on vacation for a few days, and we had a great time! The staff was very kind and helpful! A special mention goes to Lorenza, who pampered us during our stay and fulfilled our every request. The place is truly relaxing and quiet, surrounded by greenery, just steps from the sea and towns like Ortona and Vasto. The breakfast is delicious, with both sweet and savory options. The company of the dog and kittens made this experience even more enjoyable. :)

04/09/2025: We've been spending our holidays at Santo Stefano in Rivo Maris for nine years, and it's always like the first time. Loredana is a fantastic boss...always one step ahead...the aperitif is a fantastic idea. The entire staff is smart and always smiling...the cuisine is sublime and plentiful...the rooms are clean...the location is amazing...I'd like to know what more you could ask for ❣️ See you next year. 06/09/2025: We had dinner this evening, September 6th. The place was very nice. The appetizer was very good, the couscous was good but not rich. Everything was just right, the pasta with clams was good. The service was like a restaurant. First of all, there's no wine list, and you don't know what the price is for what you order. We ordered a bottle of Rosé. The appetizer arrived, but not the bottle, so we had to ask for it. When the first courses arrived, I asked for a plate to put the shells in. I'm still waiting for it. Aside from the young waiter, the others were very rude and unprofessional.

16/07/2025: A wonderful experience! We dined at this restaurant, which we found while strolling along the seafront, and it couldn't have been a better choice! Starting with the kind and inclusive welcome, we ate excellent fish, from the fresh and tasty appetizers to the flavorful first courses, choosing from a detailed and high-quality menu. We also tried the delicious pizzas, offered in a wide variety of flavors. Perfect combinations for those who love tradition and quality. The dinner was made even more enjoyable by the prompt, efficient, and empathetic service; especially Daniel, who accommodated our every request. One of our fellow diners, having an allergy, communicated it and received the appropriate, non-trivial attention. Highly recommended! P.S.: Prices are very average, which is not a given these days.

18/08/2025: We had dinner here this evening by chance. On our way back from the beach, we decided to dine out with some friends. The place was lovely and the food was delicious: seafood carbonara spaghetti, spaghetti with bottarga, gnocchi with pesto, capon magro, sea bream fillet, barracuda... all delicious. We finished with excellent homemade desserts. All in all, a great experience. (Gluten-free options too! 😍)

17/08/2025: Dearest owner of Tortuga It pains me to write to you because, every time we come to Liguria, our first thought is to come to you for your wonderful raw fish and the special view. What we experienced last night, however, left us very disappointed. When you came to order and listed the "off-menu" dishes, my companion was jokingly taken aback for a moment because he had actually chosen the first course that wasn't there. And instead of being joking, you dropped a terrible sentence: "If I take away Claudio's spaghetti, I risk closing the restaurant; if I take away another dish, I'll just lose a few customers." Excuse me: but why would you say that? Meanwhile, no one asked for an excuse, since we were joking, but above all, we felt like we were really in the way. When you hand out the menus at the beginning, you simply state which dishes were being replaced without further comment, so the person knows and it's already over. There was certainly no need for such a dig. Then your colleague arrives with the prosecco: He opens it and, without asking who tastes, pours it to my companion without the slightest consideration for the other two diners. But okay...ok. The worst part was refilling his glass first, then mine, and then the other person's. Etiquette dictates something else, however...: women first. The thing that led me to write to you, because the rest could have been overlooked by simply not coming, was hearing you whistling all evening when you arrived at the tables and even while you were serving people their food. Whistling in a work environment is synonymous with rudeness and a truly unprofessional attitude. It's as if I, while giving a massage to one of my clients, I whistle a song There's a time and a time Ambience and atmosphere And considering the level of your restaurant, both in terms of cost and quality of ingredients, the service cannot and should not be less. I'm so sorry, but we won't be coming again. I gave the location and the food almost top marks, but often, the service is what makes a stay more enjoyable and pleasant than anything else.

13/07/2025: Spurred on by the good reviews, we dined here last night. The mussel marinara was really good, and the clam pasta dishes were good, but nothing special. Service was a bit chaotic, but the girls were very kind.

10/09/2025: First things first: The best seafood in and around Caldonazzo!!! In addition to really good pizzas, Rivera also offers fantastic seafood like mussels, etc. The service is really friendly and fast. Special requests are also accommodated here. Great restaurant!!! We'd love to go back!

10/09/2025: A remarkable restaurant. It's certainly very "touristy" and geared toward foreign customers, but that doesn't mean it's not also suitable for a discerning Italian clientele, and that's precisely what's surprising. The menu is worthy of a postal market catalog... there's truly everything, complete with realistic photos of the various dishes, including fish, meat, pizzas, and all sorts of specialties, as well as excellent desserts. We ate there two nights in a row and tried various dishes. Let's just say the food is good, even though there's no absolute specialty; you can try a bit of everything. The pizzas are good, although perhaps not as good as the more renowned pizza-only pizzerias. But this isn't a pizzeria, but a much larger and more comprehensive restaurant. Service is lightning-fast: even though it's crowded, the organization leaves no room for hesitation or mistakes. Prices are reasonable.

17/08/2025: We had such a great experience overall. They brought out lots of little dishes for us to try on top of what we ordered, which was a really fun surprise. The service was excellent - super friendly and informative, which was great since we’re not exactly fish experts. I wasn’t totally sold on the fish cappuccino, but it was still interesting to try something different. They also went out of their way to bring dessert with a candle since it was a celebratory dinner, which was really thoughtful. The place had a nice, quiet atmosphere. The only slight downside was the beach view, but that’s obviously not something the restaurant can control.

07/08/2025: An excellent lunch at this historic restaurant, which I've been wanting to try for a long time. I enjoyed every course, starting with the truly unique amuse-bouche, which allowed me to taste ingredients I'd never imagined. The cuttlefish cappuccino was another incredible discovery with its unique texture. The mantis shrimp impressed me with the elegance the chef brought to a generally more "raw" dish like gratin. The real "star" of this menu was the risotto with cuttlefish and candied citron: one of the best dishes I've ever eaten in my life! An explosion of delicate yet bold flavors, a true delight for the palate. My boyfriend and I were both thrilled with this dish. The fried food, however, was disappointing; it was truly bland and subdued compared to the rest of the dishes. It was unlike any other fried food, and the accompanying "sauce" added nothing. The dessert was exquisite, along with excellent pastries and coffee. The wine list was excellent; we loved the wine we chose. The service was courteous and discreet, not intrusive. A very positive experience. I recommend it for an occasion or, as in our case, simply to treat yourself on a casual day.

07/08/2025: Un piccolo ristorante, dove è necessario prenotare, dove si può gustare del cibo molto ben cucinato e presentato con arte. Sia i primi (zuppe, piatti di pasta, …) sia i secondi (guancia di maialino, pesce spada in crosta, …) sono ottimi al gusto e molto ben presentati. Esperienza ripetuta e da ripetere ancora. Bravi!!!
