Il Bucaniere In

The Bucaniere stands spectacularly on stilts, seemingly floating above the beach. Although the interior is fantastically open and flooded with light thanks to the wraparound windows (we even sat inside during bad weather), the seats on the surrounding veranda are, in my opinion, the best you can get in San Vincenzo. Booking on-site is fine, perhaps a bit too stressful; a little more attention to detail wouldn't have hurt. The welcome, however, was very friendly. We were shown to our table, our water order was taken, and oil, salt, and pepper were brought immediately – excellent service, and truly not something to be taken for granted given the establishment's self-proclaimed "class." Wine prices and quality are very fair. The food selection is good, and the quality is very good; no major surprises, but I wouldn't expect that here. I would have gladly given it 4.5 stars. The restaurant thrives on its ambiance, the above-average food, and the very good service. Price and quality are still in line. Highly recommended.

A restaurant with a stunning sea view and fabulous sunsets. The food is excellent, beautifully presented, and of excellent quality. The waiters are very kind and professional. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. If you're passing through San Vincenzo, this is a place worth trying.
