05/09/2025: Beautiful location, competent and kind staff, good food.

04/09/2025: A very beautiful place with a splendid view, polite and knowledgeable staff, and three sommeliers who can recommend the right wine for your chosen dishes. The food was average, perhaps more focused on form than substance, and overpriced. We spent €85 per person for an appetizer, a first course, and a dessert each. The owner was a bit arrogant and pretentious, while his wife and son were very kind and helpful.

30/08/2025: The atmosphere is unique, it seems to be furnished in a very shabby way, but then you slowly appreciate the place, with its excellent background music and top-notch food, which transports you to a dimension of times gone by... let's say the carefree nature of simple reality. Worth a visit.

08/08/2025: This old-fashioned restaurant is definitely recommended. Excellent cuisine, with attention to both ingredients and detail. We ordered two first courses and a fried dish with broccoli rabe. To finish, we had crêpe suzette and tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Impeccable service. Truly friendly. We'll definitely be back.

20/07/2025: Absolutely recommended. Four of us, including our children, came for the 5-course menu and were thrilled. The Michelin star is absolutely deserved, and the quality, presentation, ambience, and service are all in line with what we expect from German Michelin-starred cuisine. We particularly appreciated the freshness and lightness of the menu. The dishes and wine glasses are exceptionally beautiful. And the very friendly sommelier selected wonderful Ligurian wines for us, which paired beautifully with the menu. The service is multilingual and consistently pleasant. We loved the terrace seating with its sea view and the sound of the waves, and the few passing cars weren't a nuisance at all in what is now a very traffic-calmed zone. Parking is easily available nearby. We would be happy to come back.

11/07/2025: Excellent food and a pleasant experience. We ate poolside on a July evening, choosing the "Triple Antipasti" tasting menu, a seafood-based menu with five different courses. The dishes were exquisite, well-balanced, and visually stunning. The dish that struck me most was the squid ink cappuccino. It was not only delicious but also fun, from the service to the discovery, a pleasant surprise after the first three courses.

03/08/2025: Stunning location, friendly staff, and carefully prepared, top-notch dishes. This is our third time there, and unless there are weddings, the atmosphere is truly excellent. On the other two occasions, the wedding celebrations in the adjacent room made the noise really unbearable. I therefore recommend asking when booking if there are events. Overall, a truly five-star rating. We'll definitely be back.

28/07/2025: An experience that captivated us! My husband and I dined at Il Grande Olmo Restaurant, choosing the tasting menu, and we were thrilled. Every course was meticulously crafted: exquisite, refined, and meticulously presented dishes, with generous portions that truly satisfied us. The wine was also excellent. All this in a splendid setting: an elegant villa surrounded by greenery, which creates a unique and relaxing atmosphere. The quality-price ratio was also truly excellent. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a special dinner, and we'll definitely repeat it!

01/03/2025: Booked yesterday at 4/5 PM, Friday, Saturday at 3 PM they still haven't deigned to confirm the reservation. Called three times, landline and mobile, no answer, and no call back. Bad experience, disorganized. Never again, me and at least 20 other friends...

09/09/2025: First evening on holiday, found on Google, very nice place with ample parking, equally beautiful location, stunning sea view, dinner a little disappointing for the price paid, also misunderstanding about a €19 appetizer recommended for two and paid €38 I pointed out to the waiter, he replied that the price referred to per person.

04/09/2025: Excellent dishes to enjoy with a sea view. The octopus millefeuille was excellent, and the first courses were delicious (both the tagliatelle with stracciatella and pistachios and the seafood first course). The waiters and the restaurant owner were both kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

23/08/2025: A small restaurant with outdoor seating, a small room near the kitchen, a bit warm, and with the aromas of cooking and grilling that make the wait for your dish a pleasant torture. It might bother some, but not us. The grilled fish is plentiful and sublime, tasty, and the price is right for fresh fish.

23/08/2025: When I was in Viareggio, right after mid-August, I was recommended the Nostromo restaurant. I have to say I was extremely disappointed. 1) The waiter was arrogant and unprofessional; 2) The food was plentiful, but!!! I expected better quality; 3) The place wasn't air-conditioned, and I endured indescribable heat. I'll wait before returning to give it another chance... Giovanna
