Excellent food in a beautiful location. The ceviche, the fish in a salt crust, and the warm chocolate cake were absolutely delicious.

I've eaten at Portolano several times in the past, and I must say I've always enjoyed it, even though the prices have always been higher than average. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case today. The "black ravioli" I ordered were definitely not the highlight of the day. Aside from the "quantity" (5 ravioli and 2 mussels), there was very little flavor. At €22.00 (basically €4 per ravioli and €1 per mussel), they were a disappointment. The tagliolini with cuttlefish and bottarga were definitely a better dish, as was the seadas. The mussel sauté wasn't particularly flavorful, but overall it was adequate. Overall, today the quality didn't match the price. I hope to find the same taste and quality as years ago next time.

18/02/2026: I have been there several times, a special place. If you love animals, you can stay in contact with them and take a walk with Caterina the goat and Dino the mascot, a very sweet little dog. If you are looking for a totally relaxing environment and to taste excellent wines, you are in the right place. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, they make you feel at ease and satisfy all your requests.
