28/07/2025: Capitate per caso dopo una visita al quartiere delle ceramiche, avremmo voluto tornare anche i giorni successivi se non fossimo state troppo lontane. Da subito abbiamo percepito passione, orgoglio e proattività. Accoglienza ottima, servizio attento e premuroso, piatti con ingredienti locali di qualità, connubio perfetto tra tradizione e innovazione senza stravolgere troppo i sapori per voler creare quell' effetto che diventa poi spesso eccessivo e artefatto. Io in quello che ho mangiato ci ho sentito la terra, la passione e la voglia di stupire con garbo. Una nuova gestione giovane, attenta ai sapori del passato con uno sguardo al presente. Bravi!

27/07/2025: We found it by chance while visiting the historic center of Grottaglie, and it was a great surprise. We had a seafood-based meal: fried fish, warm seafood salad, a mussels with pepper, and meatballs in tomato sauce for our youngest. Everything was excellent, a 10 for the salad, but the other dishes were also top-notch. You can taste the fresh, quality ingredients. The welcome, with a burrata and sun-dried tomato focaccia and a taste of extra virgin olive oil, was much appreciated. Definitely a place I'll return to; I hope they never change.

17/08/2025: Everything was fantastic! We spent €40 each on fish, a starter and main course, plus water and wine. Excellent! The waiters were also very kind and gave us parking tips.

16/08/2025: Absolutely fabulous! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Castro's Underground was a wonderful discovery. The ingredients are excellent, with incredibly fresh fish and a truly overwhelming flavor. The first courses are plentiful and flavorful, served with great care. The staff is extremely kind and always available, while the restaurant is elegant and welcoming. The quality-price ratio is incredible: you spend very little compared to the high quality of the dishes served. Highly recommended, I can't wait to go back!

05/09/2025: We learned about this restaurant through The Fork, which deserves more than a ten. We ate divinely, with an enviable quality/price ratio. We couldn't recommend anything else because everything was delicious; we even listened to the compliments from other tables. We personally tried the paccheri with amberjack, eggplant, and almonds, and the spaghetti with chili pepper and seafood. Fried calamari was excellent. The wild mint liqueur was excellent. You can tell the kitchen is working with professionalism and love. Mr. Felice in the dining room was courteous, discreet, attentive, and welcoming. We will definitely return, even with friends.

29/08/2025: Very kind and helpful staff. All the dishes were gluten-free and delicious. We specifically had the spinach ravioli, pasta Bolognese, and ravioli alla Norma (vegetarian). Everything was delicious. Not to mention the desserts; we had zuppa inglese and a chocolate dessert, delicious! I absolutely recommend it! A paradise for celiacs!

22/08/2025: Very nice and welcoming place, breathtaking view, but it's a shame that the booking service wasn't up to par with the place itself. They told us that it wasn't possible to book a table for the aperitif while when we went to the place, the sofas were all booked... no comment

20/08/2025: Unfortunately, it was a black-and-white experience. The location was amazing, as always, and the drinks were standard, so they were easy to make. The service, however, was TOTALLY UNFORGETTABLE: 20 minutes to take the order, another 20 to deliver it, a waiter literally stopping by every 15 minutes to check if we were finished, and 10 minutes at the cash register to pay, with two waiters mumbling among themselves without paying attention to us… not exactly the best for a place like this.

24/07/2025: A beautiful place, very convenient for its proximity to Fiumicino Airport. The rooms are clean and modern, with comfortable beds. The kindness and helpfulness of the owner, Maurizio, made all the difference in choosing this place. He greeted us upon arrival and explained how the property works. The kitchen fridge had water, soft drinks, and coffee available. Maurizio offered us a shuttle service to the airport. The garden is a great place to relax and even have breakfast outside...a truly beautiful place to see. Just steps from the canal, which allows you to stroll along shops and restaurants. I recommend the restaurant Maurizio recommended: Fish Take Away, which is on the long canal just steps away; it's very good and affordable. It's not the first time we've booked here, and we've never been disappointed! In fact, we always want to return! Thanks again, Maurizio, for your kindness; you make all the difference! I'll definitely be back!

01/09/2025: Really nice little hidden gem in the Centre of Venice with good food at honest prices and lovely staff! We really appreciated finding this place to shelter from the hot sun and crowds and enjoy decent food. Would recommend!

21/08/2025: Lunch alone. Saturday Night Fever soundtrack at just the right volume. Pleasant. Excellent experience. The tortellini took me back to a beautiful past. Tortellini should be made this way, no more, no less. Attentive service and a very beautiful, well-kept, and clean environment. Perfect value; in short, even if it forces me to deviate a bit from my usual path, it will be worth it, and I will.

13/08/2025: My family and I have been coming to Bibione almost regularly for our summer holidays for over 20 years, and the Pineda was our absolute favorite restaurant. The food, and especially the pizzas, were unbeatably good. We're back this year and were really looking forward to our visit to the Pineda and the pizza. Unfortunately, this time it was a completely different pizza to what we're used to. The dough wasn't as thin as usual. The ratio of cheese to tomato sauce wasn't right for us, and unfortunately, the dough had nothing to do with pizza dough. It's a real shame; hopefully the old pizza chef will come back. The pasta and everything else was as excellent as always.

20/08/2025: WARNING: My review is significantly different from the previous ones. The experience was completely negative on every front. The service was improvised, and the courtesy and professionalism were lacking. The rolls chosen by the chef left us completely dissatisfied: too much rice, not enough fish, and no ingredients that really stood out. You don't remember them; they were disappointing. The udon noodles were almost cloyingly submerged in soy sauce, and the portion was small for an a la carte dish. While we were waiting to pay, due to a bathroom issue, the staff argued loudly, causing great embarrassment to those in line at the register (including the chef, who kindly apologized to the customers...). Furthermore, alas, paying cash meant we had to ask the register staff for a receipt. You know? It's awful to go out to eat, willing to spend even more, expecting the a la carte menu advertised by the "red shrimp" and then find yourself JUST wanting to leave.

05/08/2025: A fantastic experience. True and authentic Japanese food. Careful and refined selection of excellent ingredients. Spectacular food, all in a modern setting that's reminiscent of ancient Japan. Excellent service.
