13/08/2025: For a table of 5 people, the first course after 40 minutes, the second courses always after the first course 10 minutes and the last course another 10 minutes. The dining room service is very argumentative among themselves.

15/08/2025: Had a perfect evening here ;at the restaurant) a couple nights ago. The service was exceptional, the food and drink were delicious and the atmosphere was just magical. Feel like I’ve discovered a hidden gem.

20/07/2025: I don't know where the people who raved about it ate, but last night I didn't find anything this special. I waited more than half an hour between ordering and the food arriving. The pinsa was basically a different-shaped pizza, but it was still a pizza, and not even a very good one. And to top it all off, when it came time to pay, the cashier made a very inappropriate joke about my friend. I won't be going again.

21/07/2025: Ristorante adiacente Hotel la Pineta, abbiamo cenato 3 volte ed abbiamo trovato sempre piatti buoni, servizio veloce e prezzi nella media. Consigliato.

22/05/2025: Una splendida scoperta. Sono andato in questo ristorante dopo aver letto le recensioni positive sul Vs. Portale e devo dire che sono rimasto favorevolmente sorpreso. Cibo ottimo, così come il servizio, prezzo onesto. Sono tornato un altra volta e il menù era cambiato, ma sempre gustoso. Mai mangiato un maialino così tenero. Ottimi i passatelli con fave e pecorino.

09/02/2025: Very welcoming and professional staff. High-quality food, carefully prepared. I recommend it for anyone looking for a romantic evening or a high-end culinary experience. We had a meat tasting menu with various courses, along with a glass of wine recommended upon request. Everything was perfect!

31/07/2025: We even made a reservation at The Fork, so we traveled miles specifically to have lunch there, and it was completely closed. It shows as open on Google and also on The Fork.

29/07/2025: I came for dinner last night. What can I say? A lovely evening! The location had an excellent view, the food was good, but there were a few things that needed updating (like the quality of the fish). The waiter was kind and helpful. I'll definitely be back for more.

09/08/2025: La vista è bellissima, vale la visita e la cena in questo ristorante. Per il resto, il cibo è discreto con una scelta di menu abbastanza ampia che riesce ad accontentare un po’ tutti. Il servizio è abbastanza efficace. In generale il ristorante è un po’ troppo turistico per i miei gusti. I prezzi sono un po’ alti per quanto offerto ma siamo a Desenzano.

21/07/2025: As a non-fish lover, I can assure you that coming here, in Puglia, is an EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED. A wide selection of products (all fresh, of course), you choose the cooking method, there's also sushi, and above all, it's COMPLETELY GLUTEN-FREE, meaning it's heaven for those with celiac disease.

07/08/2025: We visited this restaurant three years ago and had fond memories of it – so our expectations for today's visit were correspondingly high. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Upon arrival, it became clear that communication would be difficult (the staff barely spoke English). It took about five minutes before they even acknowledged we had a reservation. Although the restaurant was completely empty, they seated us at a table right at the front, right by the stairs, which was uninviting. We were simply handed a menu for four people. When we asked, they said there were only two menus for the entire restaurant. Instead, they asked us to read the menu online, which we found odd. We ordered a carafe of still water, a carafe of sparkling water, and a cappuccino. We had to wait about 15 minutes for the drinks. In the meantime, we decided to skip the food; who knows how long we would have had to wait otherwise? When the drinks finally arrived, the still water was served in a carafe labeled "Frizzante" and the sparkling water in a carafe labeled "Naturale" (it can happen, but it still wasn't great). The highlight, however, was that the cappuccino had small pieces of milk in it – a definite no-go. And as if that weren't enough: After we let them know that we didn't want anything else to eat because the service had ruined our appetite, we were asked to change tables, explaining that we were sitting at a table reserved only for diners. The restaurant was completely empty at the time, a complete disgrace. We were really looking forward to the evening and the restaurant, especially since we had been thrilled three years ago. Unfortunately, our expectations weren't met this time. Nevertheless, we didn't let that spoil the evening and had a great meal at a nearby restaurant.

07/08/2025: We stumbled upon this pizzeria by chance, but it was truly a pleasant discovery. The place is welcoming. The pizza is very good, with a thick crust, but cooked well. Quality ingredients, and they also have different doughs available. We must return to try the pizza by the meter...

17/08/2025: Every restaurant has its target audience, its strengths and some weaknesses, but like all businesses, it has to make a living. My review is more of a review of the customers than of the restaurant owner. Many people I know have been frequenting this place for a long time. It was my first time there, and I almost gave up after reading some of the reviews. A well-kept establishment, a sea view, an excellent wine list, and attentive and competent service. Various quality breads, top-quality olive oil, and salted butter—that's the beginning... And it says it all! The fish dishes are just right, well-cooked and flavorful. The mixed fried fish is delicious, but it's a clever dish... The only thing I can say is that it's too much for the eye and less for the substance, but it's the indulgence. AN EXCELLENT LUNCH FOR 75 EUROS WITHOUT MISSING ANYTHING. This is a restaurant!

16/08/2025: This isn't our first time at Maré, and it's always a pleasure. Enjoying an aperitivo right on the beach is an added bonus that few places can offer. The wide selection of drinks and the well-curated menu make the experience even more enjoyable. On summer evenings, the atmosphere is simply fabulous. Impeccable service: truly excellent!

31/07/2025: We ate spaghetti with clams and sea bream with baked potatoes. They were delicious, we had a great time, and we'll definitely be back.

Marika proved to be expert and highly skilled at introducing us to the dishes on the menu (and off), making recommendations based on each person's tastes. She was always smiling and friendly, a quality I truly appreciated! I haven't seen service like this even in Rome.

19/07/2025: Ritengo sia assurdo, per non dire altro, pagare una porzione piccola di patatine senza glutine , da asporto (quindi senza coperto), 8 euro. Come si nota dalla foto, la confezione è mezza vuota.
