Found by chance, we had anchovy meatballs with potatoes and a mouth-watering pan of spaghetti with octopus and prawns. Highly recommended... With water and a bottle of wine, €25 per person.

For pasta connoisseurs and lovers, I have to say your calamari puttanesca is truly amazing. In addition to a very fresh mixed fried fish, we had dinner at 🔝🔝🔝. A place where you immediately feel at home thanks to the hospitality and simplicity. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Thank you so much from Bologna. Being English speaking I always like a local restaurant that doesn’t have a English menu. As it means more local and less touristy. This place provides wholesome good seafood. At good prices.

I stayed a few days, eating here and there, and I have to say this place is the best. Excellent food, fair price. One thing that's really nice is the chef's concern in asking if everything was okay...a gesture that's appreciated in this day and age...at least it doesn't seem like it's the case in so many places where "eat, pay, and go" is a mantra. Thanks to all the staff.

The chef loves cooking, and you can taste it when you eat his dishes. Simple dishes, well-served, even in quantity, but above all, well-cooked. With excellent flavor and quality ingredients!!! Compliments to the Chef!!!! I ate: octopus with potatoes, Livorno-style cod, and sautéed escarole!!! Everything was delicious!!!!

20/07/2026: I'm a critic; I rarely write reviews to praise a place, and even more rarely do I give it top marks. I've been to Il Porticciolo twice in one week. I have to say that everything, absolutely everything, was excellent. First and foremost, the food. The pasta was particularly good, both with seafood and with crab. The latter was probably one of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten in my long life as a spoiled glutton. The service was impeccable, the location beautiful with a view of the harbor, and the price was in keeping with the high quality of the place. I can honestly say that in Ponza in 2026, I haven't found an alternative as good and enjoyable, despite the effort I put into searching. My only small criticism: I would have liked a small welcome aperitif.
09/07/2026: I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner as a couple. The food is exquisite, with a focus on local ingredients. The service is truly attentive and ready to answer any questions. The setting is beautiful and refined, not to mention the view of the harbor. A truly wonderful experience.
