09/03/2025: Oggi siamo stati a pranzo. Il posto lo conosciamo da tanto. Lo consigliamo sempre a tutti. Oggi nonostante fossimo in 12 e il ristorante fosse pieno abbiamo ricevuto un servizio veloce, curato. Ringraziamo il cameriere Gino che è il numero uno. Disponibile e simpatico sempre.

25/11/2024: Siamo in 10...9 che pranzano al ristorante uno solo che voleva un panino/ toast magari 2 a 8 euro cad......impossibile avere il panino /toast..da consumare con la famiglia al tavolo del ristorante (che poi è un angolo di spiaggia all ombra sotto arelle , non una sala in muratura) Ehhhh....vi va troppo bene perché cè un continuo ricambio di clientela ..foste in città abbasseresti le ali...si tu proprietario che vuoi fare il MANAGER con le Crocs e i piedi NON sporchi...SPORCHISSIMI

04/02/2025: It is one of the best places we’ve ever been. The hotel is beautiful with a vintage vibe. The staff is very helpful always ready to make your stay perfect. The rooms are always clean. I recommend it for anyone. We are here with a 1 year old baby and I can confirm that it is a good place to stay for families.

05/04/2025: Excellent restaurant in the centre. Good and well-plated food, friendly and quick service. Not a very light account. Yes, we are in Stresa but not exactly in a panoramic area. I return today and confirm the previous report. The bill is definitely too high. We may be in Stresa but we are also in a dim alley with a view of the opposite wall, not of Isola Bella. 17 euros for a flan (good, but with raw materials represented by leeks and potatoes) seems excessive to me. Like the fried lake fish at 24 euros, done well but with more battered vegetables than fish. And 4 euros cover charge...well! Plus I remembered larger portions upon first approach. I would suggest going to the lakeside for lunch. Spend to spend, at least you are in daylight and enjoying the view.

25/03/2025: A place that satisfies the palate every time. We opted for the pizzas. There is the possibility to choose between the low version and the "true" high version. The dough is tasty and the topping offered is the expression of an imaginative pizza chef who wants to arouse curiosity. They offer the pizza menu with drink and dessert for €15 but the choice of pizzas is limited compared to those on the menu. I suggest going and taking a bite.

07/02/2025: Excellent experience, you can feel the attention to the quality of the raw material. The raw fish appetizer and the seafood soup (so good that we forgot to take a photo) are absolutely recommended. We hope to return soon, perhaps in good weather! Thanks for the welcome (and kindness!)

08/10/2024: Unfortunately the waitress was alone and was visibly struggling to serve the entire room, but despite this she was very nice and kind. We sat down at 8.30pm, set the table around 9pm, a starter for 2 arrived at around 9.30pm, while at 10.30pm the 2 practically inedible fried dishes arrived: hard calamari, they crunched in the mouth, we barely finished the dish due to hunger, while I left half of it. While collecting our plates, the waitress asked us if everything was okay and we explained to her the inconvenience of frying and she replied that she was sorry and that if we had informed her beforehand she would have made us do them again, she was kind for goodness sake, but after two hours of sitting, still waiting, after having already waited 2 hours, we really didn't feel like it. The fried food was then frozen, €22 each and you left like that and I think that if we had done it again, we would most likely have had the same result. The starter was 4 TASTES on one of those dishes divided into 4 parts, it also seems like 22 euros. He offered us the next 2 grappas, let's say that it could also go, given that one dish was finished anyway. Maybe in periods with extra staff it's a different type of restaurant, but that's how it went for us.

07/04/2025: Structure just outside the city center, with convenient parking. Well cared for, characteristic and I would say romantic. Good food, especially the pizzas. Alas, the desserts are a sore point... I tried them all, including the one of the day, when it was available, and not a single one was saved. I won't spend €7 for a poor dessert anymore, the rest of the prices are average for the area. Courteous and fast service, sometimes waiters a little confusing and a little too zealous in clearing the table... you're chewing the last bite and the plate disappears!

06/04/2025: Very welcoming and romantic location, an ancient renovated mill that maintains characteristic details. We have been many times, for lunch, for dinner and tonight for the first time for an aperitif and it is always my favorite place! Finally an aperitif with a capital A, chosen from different cocktail/wine combinations and various appetizers, in particular I recommend the aperitif, very rich, it also includes a taste of the dish of the day. Very good service, discreet and courteous, especially the girl who was there tonight. Until next time!

06/04/2025: After placing us in a room with a temperature reminiscent of Vesuvius, we hesitantly read the only menu provided to us (there were two of us) and, slightly disappointed by the limited choice, we decide to order two gourmet pizzas A very normal tuna and onion with a layer of mozzarella so thick that it looked like an Eminflex mattress, which hid a dough that wasn't bad anyway The other pizza with mortadella, burrata and pistachio cream, which would have satisfied the caloric needs of half the population of Congo, was incredibly not very tasty with the pistachio flavor which was evidently lost together with the air conditioner remote control and the second menu To the exaggerated price of €15 for each pizza you will have to add the liters of water that we guzzled in the following hours and the price of a pack of Biochetasi (providential) Ps: the pastiera is very good, that is recommended

28/03/2025: The menu prices are sky high, even the simplest things are expensive!!! Even the cover charge is too much. Absolutely not recommended.
