13/07/2025: Absolutely loved this place! The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the people were lovely. Seating and location was very cute and I recommend for a good italian meal. Lots of variety in the food options and everything was super fresh. We hope to come back in the future, definitely worth the visit!

22/07/2025: A restaurant serving typical Italian dishes. A great option for those with gluten or lactose intolerance. The waitress attentively asked if the dishes had any special exceptions. The dishes were good, but I rated them a 4 because they weren't impressive. Beautifully presented.

Let's start with the parking lot which is both near the place and a 5 minute walk away (300 parking spaces) Fast SERVICE with highly qualified staff. COURSES: from pizza to fish or meat cooked impeccably. With the family we had both fried food and stuffed calamari... A delight Really large portions (not from everyone I want to point out) PRICES: I would say very competitive fearing that we are talking about QUALITY and QUANTITY LOCATION: very large outdoor garden lit with rows of hanging light bulbs really nice What can I say..... TO TRY‼️

25/06/2025: We're in Lecce on vacation and decided to go to this restaurant despite the not-so-positive reviews. What a great idea! The service was friendly, quick, and smiling. We were offered antipasti for the aperitif. We really enjoyed it. It was delicious, and the plates were well-filled. Honestly, don't worry: you won't be disappointed!

Nonostante si trovi nel cuore di una delle mete turistiche più rinomate e frequentate del Salento, questo ristorante si distingue per l’attenzione alla freschezza delle materie prime e la cura nella preparazione dei piatti. Il personale è presente, cordiale, accogliente ed attento. L’ambiente è informale, ma curato. Ideale per una cena rilassante. I piatti raccontano il mare, con sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, e la vista-mare che si scorge dal ristorante rende l’esperienza ancora più suggestiva. Un posto che consiglio vivamente a chi desideri gustare dell’ottimo pesce preparato con competenza e passione per la cucina salentina di mare.

09/07/2025: Words can’t express how VERAMENTE ECCEZIONALE (truly exceptional!) this experience was for my partner and me last night. We went all in with the tasting menu, a bottle of wine, and a digestivo to end — and I can honestly say it was the best dinner of our entire trip and well beyond. Chef Maurizio is inventive, authentic, and fun! Absolutely outstanding. His lovely wife was just as wonderful. We stayed until closing, and they welcomed us like old friends sharing music, stories, and great tips for the rest of our travels. We wanted to book again for tonight, but sadly they close on Wednesdays. We’ll definitely return to Syracuse with this unforgettable stop always in mind.

09/07/2025: Very rarely do you come across restaurants where every little detail is curated to perfection. From the moment you walk up to the restaurant from the street the colorful umbrellas and lights that decorate the restauraunts external terrace greet you along with an eclectic soundtrack gently playing through the speakers. On the inside the restaurant is a melting pot of vintage decoration pieces, paintings and furniture that all tell a story. To say it has character is an understatement. The restaurants owner Maurizio greets you with a smile and some friendly words as you walk in, take a seat, and keep admiring all of the restaurants decoration. Its as if the entire place is speaking to you and telling you to feel at home. Ive traveled the world extensively and have eaten in many of the world's greatest restaurants on most continents but when I discover gems like this place it makes me happier than dining at any world renowned establishment. In Japan, the most highly renowned style of cuisine, is Kyoto based Kaiseiki cuisine. Its a style of dining where every single element in the room and on your plate is meant to inspire a sense of zen. The ceramic for each dish is carefully chosen, the type of flowers and decoration in the room, the way every dish is presented at your table and every course is prepared to make you feel as zen as possible. Sicilian dining is not in any way Kaiseiki, but dining at Maurizios establishment felt like a joyful colorful Sicilian version of this all encompassing style of dining, all senses are stimulated in a blissful way. I highly recommend choosing the 4 course tasting menu, besides being able to taste a larger variety of dishes in one sitting, it will also include, as a bonus, Maurizio presenting each dish at your table with a few fun surprises. Restaurant owners who actively work the floor in their restaurants tend to have to repeat all their stories and conversations endlessly with every evenings customer which I imagine can get exhausting but Maurizio tells you about each dish, every item in the room and art piece decorating the walls with joy and excitement as if its the first time he's telling the story. Make sure to ask him about the big painting hanging on the restaurants wall. You cant miss it, its the center piece of the restaurant, and like its owner, it's story is comical, joyful and unique.

08/07/2025: Returned after a few years and expectations remained as high as ever! Perhaps one of the best restaurants in Castiglioncello, excellent quality of raw materials, excellent cuisine. Congratulations!

16/06/2025: I share my experience, which did not fully meet my expectations, to make some observations that, I hope, will not be taken as criticism but as ideas for improvement. Let me start by saying that we ate outside, the outside part is right on the Aurelia where cars and scooters do not concern each other. Most likely the inside experience is certainly excellent, soft music, in the environment. But in the summer it is natural that you want to stay outside. Our dinner lasted two hours and we all couldn't wait to leave because the noise did not allow us to relax and chat. The director's chairs, this was of course our opinion, uncomfortable for someone who is no longer a kid. Let's move on to the food. Excellent raw materials (and you can taste it) The amazing boiled seafood. The other dishes were cooked with taste and skill but some things did not convince us (the filling for example in the calamari stew, a first course of chitarra a little too greasy, and the gnocchi too too tasty). In any case I repeat they were good dishes and cooked with skill. The only criticism however is the quality-price ratio with the premises made before. The prices, always in our opinion and we are not the absolute truth, are a little too high if, in fact, applied to the outdoor environment which, in summer, is also practically the most popular place.

21/07/2025: An experience not to be repeated. After notifying the reservation staff that I didn't eat seafood and reiterating this to the waiter, the first appetizer they served was shrimp with a sauce! Lack of attention... after dessert, they informed us that they would bring fruit, which was preceded by coffee... Lack of attention... service not up to par for a one-star restaurant.
