10/11/2024: Unfortunately, after this experience, I can say that I have definitively put an end to what for years was a fixed appointment for me at Cavalluccio. Every summer it was a tradition to go and eat there, but this year, due to what happened, I won't be going back again. Last August, I went to lunch with my few month old baby. Once seated at the table, we ordered a fish first course. While I had my son in my arms, the dish, very hot, arrived and he, for a moment, put his hand inside, burning his finger. In a panic, I jumped up to protect him, and in the process the plate fell to the floor. I immediately took my son to the bathroom, who was crying desperately from fear. Upon my return to the table, I expected to find a more attentive situation and at least an apology or intervention from the staff. Instead, I found nothing. No one approached me to ask if anything had happened or to offer to fix the situation. When the waiters came to collect the dishes, they did so without even cleaning or making the slightest gesture of attention, as if nothing had happened. I was really disappointed by the behavior of the staff and, unfortunately, this experience has convinced me that I will never return. It's a real shame, because for many years it was a place I loved, but this time it was too much.

10/03/2025: We went to this restaurant recommended by the neighbor of our B&B. It is located in one of the most important streets in the historic center of Naples. If you want, you can also sit outside directly on Via dei Tribunali. Everything we tried was really good and authentic, I personally had the Genoese pasta which was a delicacy. I would like to add a note of thanks to the staff who were extremely kind, the two twins welcomed us from the first moment, always remaining professional (we even stopped at the end of the service to have a chat) Truly highly recommended also for the prices which are honest considering the location, the quality of the food, the location and the professionalism of the guys. Have a nice Neapolitan holiday :)

Simply delicious and we advise you to ask the chef for his advice for your choice of dishes. The products are fresh at the moment. It is only used by local fishermen and according to their needs 👌

30/12/2024: I had high expectations since it's a Michelin restaurant, but I was disappointed. I tried the Innovative course, but it was really just a test menu; it was so overdone that I couldn't really feel the flavors of each ingredient, and the dishes were just overdone. The service wasn't that great, we had to pour most of the wine ourselves, the food and the plates were all placed in different directions at the same table, and there was no love for the food at all. I was disappointed that I couldn't feel it. Even though it's not peak season, I think it would be a good idea to at least tell the busboy the direction of the plate, even if it's busy and the busboy has to serve it. Or rather, was there no direction for the plate or food? I think the person who cooked the food put a lot of effort into it, but I don't think it had anything to do with it. As for the presentation of the food, Apidizer was still better, but the main dish was a mess. By the way, I understand that the apedizer probably has to be made in advance without much effort, but the fried fish was served cold and I didn't think it was delicious at all. However, in terms of creativity, I could feel that they had made an effort, but I was very disappointed that it did not reach that level at all in terms of a moving dining experience. The wine list was Michelin rated, so it was very comprehensive. There were also many Cinque Terre wines. However, since the food on the trial course was so bad, I wonder if there was any good food? Maybe I made a mistake in choosing the menu. There were several tables around us that were serving dishes that looked like pizza dough on top of pasta. I think that was probably the number one recommendation. I wanted to try a variety of dishes on the omakase course menu, but to be honest, I couldn't recommend it enough. If you're going to waste money, I think it would have been better to have it a la carte. The tables, interior settings, and plates created a local atmosphere and were very nice.

17/02/2025: Surreal. I book a table for Valentine's Day dinner on the fork. I receive the booking confirmation. Just to be sure, I'll call to confirm. The restaurant's answering machine answered me, warning me that the restaurant would be closed until February 10th for work, too bad that today is already the 14th! the call is then presumably forwarded to the staff, but no one answers. There is no warning whatsoever on the website. But is it possible that in 2025 communication (or rather lack of communication) to customers will be managed in this way? Shameful and Unbelievable! Luckily I called in advance...otherwise I would have found myself without a place to dine on Valentine's Day

06/01/2025: Il locale è curato, il personale è gentile, a volte un po’ distratto ma niente di fastidioso. Ossobuco e cotoletta direi buoni, anche gli altri piatti sono stati gradevoli. I dolci abbastanza buoni, la carta dei vini sufficiente. Alla fine l’esperienza è positiva ma a me personalmente non ha lasciato quella voglia di tornarci, quindi direi buono ma nella media senza picchi particolari Prezzi nella media milanese quindi decisamente alti, secondo me un 20% in meno sarebbe corretto. I ricarichi sui vini li ho trovati decisamente eccessivi

30/09/2024: Un angolo di paradiso fuori dalla frenesia dei turisti che assaltano i negozietti dei vicoli del centro. In questo ristorante i tavoli disposti su un meraviglioso affaccio sul mare regalano una cornice stupenda ad pranzo perfetto. Tutto squisito dal cibo al senvizio impeccabile. Il nostro ristorante del cuore a Positano. Spero di tornarci presto.
