02/07/2025: We ate DIVINELY! Pasta with clams was really excellent, not to mention the mixed fried fish and the seafood appetizer. A small restaurant where the fish is excellent and fresh. I highly recommend it! Friendliness also from the staff, from the accompaniment to the table to the payment. A wonderful little gem in Gatteo if you want a well-made fish lunch or dinner.

07/04/2025: Found this place by chance while passing through. We ate a pizza as good as we hadn't had in a long time, with wholemeal dough, well-leavened and cooked to perfection. Impeccable service, a little chaotic environment. We will return whenever we pass by

11/06/2025: Sunday evening 08.06.25 fish appetizers cadi excellent and well chosen by the chef Massimo recommended by him Melon and shrimp and basil risotto excellent choice sweet and savory well balanced wine pairing right the five stars are all deserved both as service waiter kind and very courteous and attentive.

08/07/2025: I'm changing my rating from 4 to 3 stars. After the renovations, the atmosphere has deteriorated and prices have increased significantly. The lunch menu, where you previously had a choice, has become a fixed menu, and drinks, which were previously included in the price, are now paid separately. While the value for money was unbeatable before, you can now find better.

23/06/2025: This was a very disappointing experience, I would have given zero stars if I could. Food we ordered wasn’t edible. Bread was mouldy and dry. Pan fried squid was in fact a stew with a suspiciously smelly squid. Pasta was very salty and black rice risotto tasted like rice cooked in unsalted water with a mix of leftovers king prawns cut offs (heads only!). Yes we are tourists , no we don’t speak Italian but we’re given English menu. No, we were not drunk. Just a middle aged couple out for what we hoped would be a nice dinner. We waited patiently , whilst tables around us were served food, even if they arrived later. We didn’t liked the starter nor mouldy bread but still not mentioned anything to the waiter. Once been served the pasta and rice , we couldn’t eat it. It looked and tasted revolting. We told the waiter we can’t eat it and won’t pay for it. She was fine with it, but didn’t really offered any explanation nor apologies. This was was quite peculiar since tables around us seemed to be served a fresh, tasty looking food that everyone seemed to be enjoying. I’m not a snob, nor a complainer but I know a difference between fresh honest food and crap served on the plate. If the restaurant doesn’t want to serve tourists they shouldn’t offer us a table. I can’t shake off the feeling this was done purposely. Such a shame as reading the reviews we were really looking forward to enjoy our dinner there.i hope none shares the experience we had.

04/07/2025: Small restaurant mainly seafood, beautiful rooms, kind and prepared service, truly excellent food and prices in line with the quality (very good) of the dishes. For 2 of us we ate (all seafood) 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, 2 moscatos, 2 coffees for a cost of €130, discounted to €115. Highly recommended.

05/05/2025: Intimate and nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. The dishes were excellent, I personally tasted fish dishes and they were perfect from taste to plating.

01/07/2025: Unfortunately, our visit to Restoro wasn't what we'd hoped. Even though we were the first guests of the evening, we found the situation a bit strange. Four servers were standing around our table, constantly looking at us. It was a bit awkward that they repeatedly asked us if we knew what we wanted to order. The fact that we were only given a menu and were seated opposite each other delayed our decision-making, which made the whole situation even more stressful. Unfortunately, we felt like we weren't really welcome. We were also disappointed with the food: It wasn't bad by any means, but rather mediocre compared to other restaurants on our trip to Italy. We finished everything after only 40 minutes, which didn't exactly make for an enjoyable experience. Overall, there are definitely better restaurants nearby that offer a more pleasant atmosphere and higher-quality food. It's a shame, because our expectations were high.

30/06/2025: I came back by chance after many years and again to eat a pizza and the sensations remained the same unfortunately the potential is all there, but the pizza dough is absolutely not up to modern standards...after a few minutes the dough became rubbery and in fact I had considerable difficulty digesting it. for goodness sake good products, refined flavors, but as said before you can do better with the dough. always wonderful and fascinating location. courteous and impeccable service.

13/07/2025: Where should I begin... The place is blessed with a fantastic view over the Bay of Trieste. The outdoor area, with its plant-covered terrace, is simply gorgeous. Very attentive service leaves nothing to be desired. The food is delicious and well-seasoned. You just need to make sure you find a parking space, as there aren't many. I highly recommend it.

09/04/2025: Wonderful place! It's not the first time I've been there, excellent pizza as always, a must-try Nutella pizza (they've changed it, before there was a kind of fire in the middle with sugar, now it's accompanied by peanuts), average location. I've been going there for years! TOP!

13/06/2025: Maresia pizza is something crazy, it has its cost but the products and everything are worth spending, eaten well, fast even if the place was quite full! I would gladly go back ☺️

20/06/2025: We found this restaurant a bit by chance while exploring the alleys of the charming old town of Sanremo. A very pleasant discovery in a very suggestive little square. Really kind and professional staff. Good food with quality ingredients. Recommended.

27/07/2025: Service was horrible, waiter walked away while we ordered, multiple times. Got wrong drinks after asking 3 times. Food was not good and way way way too spicy and oily. Not what we are used to in italia. Do not reccomend the place.

15/07/2025: The restaurant is located in the Movida Triestina area, an informal, welcoming and well-kept atmosphere. The staff is attentive and fast and always brings a smile with them. The menu is varied, meat and fish as well as classic Triestine dishes. Cooked ham and horseradish and glera must never be missing from the table. Pets are allowed and I must say that they are very pampered with pieces of ham. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Highly recommended.
