06/08/2025: Their beef is absolutely perfect, the one for two people is especially outstanding. It’s important to note, that their prices are somewhat higher than average. Staff is really friendly and charismatic.

16/06/2025: Unfortunately, exceptionally, I find myself writing a not very positive review. In particular, the dishes that were not exceptional, namely the potatoes at the base of the octopus were raw and tasteless, the first courses were also tasteless and of low quality from the point of view of pairing (I had to add oil otherwise the tagliatelle were difficult to pick up with a fork). After the first course, there was no waiter who asked us "is everything to your liking" ... "would you like something else" ... in the end, after 20 minutes with the first course plates empty, I had to ask the waiter if he could kindly take the plates away and proceed with the rest. The dessert was good ... 1 out of 5 pleasant. My children's strawberry ice cream had pieces of ice in it. Well ... the location was a positive note. Maybe I was not welcome ... maybe I had 3 children ... who made less noise than the adults at the adjacent table. Have a good evening!

01/11/2025: Da Salvatore Trattoria on the Castellammare seafront Informal, friendly trattoria Pizza/takeaway below Seated dining room above Zeppoline and mussels with pepper as an appetizer were really good and high-quality But they outdid themselves with the first courses. I tried it for the first time in my life: paccheri with porcini mushrooms and clams, truly delicious, excellent, obligatory mopping up the sauce (€12 😮) And I also tried my girlfriend's seafood scialatielli (€15 👍), equally delicious, with top-quality clams. The portions were also decent, almost generous. I continued with fried shrimp, calamari, and cuttlefish (€13 😮) Quality ingredients, well-fried, golden brown. All in all, exceptional food, very low prices compared to the quality (perhaps due to the climate and very informal setting?) Same staff, same food in a "fashion" restaurant. "fashion" you pay double for everything Great discovery!!! 👍👍

29/09/2025: We arrived without a reservation, as reservations aren't accepted. The table was set immediately. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was unbeatable. Delicious. The atmosphere was super pleasant. Despite it being summer and being packed, we were always well served here, with no waiting.

14/10/2025: Quality pizza, but it's crazy to charge €13 for 3 counted slices of cooked ham for a 2-year-old girl. It's useless to comment that the prices are clearly displayed because there is no item for 3 slices of ham €13. But don't make me laugh, please, the correct word is to say that I was robbed.

11/10/2025: During a trip to Reggio Emilia, we discovered L'Angolo di Napoli, and I can say without a doubt that it was one of the best Neapolitan pizzas I've ever eaten. The place was packed, but the service was quick and efficient. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food is superior: excellent ingredients, perfect dough, and authentic flavors that take you straight to Naples. The Neapolitan fried fish was sublime. I ate heartily and to my fullest, finishing every dish not out of hunger, but out of pure gluttony! The sommelier was also exceptional, expertly guiding us through the wine selection. A truly excellent gastronomic experience. Reservations required!

04/09/2025: I went for dinner. From a wide selection of traditional cuisine and pizzas, I opted for a pizza. It was good, with high crusts and excellent toppings. The staff was courteous and friendly. A good place for a simple dinner.

07/08/2025: We had dinner one evening with friends. The pizzas were delicious, and so were the desserts. It's a simple, fairly large place. Welcoming, with friendly staff.

01/11/2025: The service was extremely fast and attentive. The food is sensational. You've never had a margarita like this before – in a good way. The restrooms are very poorly laid out, and there's no men's room.

14/09/2025: Whenever we're in the area, La Bussola is our go-to place (whether for lunch or dinner). Fast service, helpful and friendly waiters. All the dishes are excellent! The fish tastes like fish! Fabulous pizza! Their homemade desserts are also excellent! Great value for money 💯! For us, TOP!

08/11/2025: We stopped in because it's close to the Carmine Church, and were pleasantly surprised. The radicchio and shrimp risotto and the swordfish steak were both delicious and satisfying. The desserts were excellent. The service was quick and courteous. Good value. If we return to Pavia, we'll probably return for the pizzas, which looked very interesting after seeing them at other tables.

02/11/2025: The pizza itself is not bad, prices are affected by the location in the historic center but I still found them above average: €55 for three pizzas, water and three coffees seems a bit too much.

The pasta is made fresh right on the spot, and the ingredients are bursting with quality - each meal prepared with incredible care and a desire for perfection. The service is genuinely kind and truly helpful, making the experience even more special. One of the things I loved most is the diverse menu - seafood, meat, and vegetarian options - ensuring everyone can find something they love. I honestly wish I could give this place six stars instead of five; it’s absolutely remarkable and has truly left a lasting impression on me!

21/09/2025: We stayed at the hotel next door and walked over for dinner. The staff was very friendly and when selecting catch of the day Chef Gusieppie came out and described each fish and how it was to be prepared. We also ordered the Mussels in Myrtle which were excellent! We selected the rockfish and was very pleased with it.

19/09/2025: I know that many people find it scandalous to have a dish served on a bathroom tile! But we're open-minded! The tile was a tile anyway! The girl from Turin was super nice, welcoming, and helpful. I don't think they'll have another season. The mussels were dried out; the appetizer was good, but if I'd tried harder, I could have had a better one on the beach. Then I chose the catch of the day, a scorpion fish that the girl from Turin kindly served us! It was good, and I'll tell you tomorrow if it was fresh! Anyway, one adult and two children (the eldest is 10) with a glass of wine, two appetizers, a pasta dish with tomato sauce, a fried mixed seafood dish, and a scorpion fish = €200. Fine if everything is perfect! But given the shortcomings we can find, I can't give more than 3 stars. If it weren't for the girl from Turin who served us, I'd give it 2 ⭐️⭐️

10/10/2025: A menu for all tastes: pizza, meat, and fish. We come here for both family celebrations and evenings with friends, and everything is always delicious. The staff is very friendly.

07/10/2025: I went for dinner three evenings and had the opportunity to taste the dishes and the pizzeria, everything was excellent at the right price with a friendly and very kind service and as a Pugliese I can also judge the fish to be excellent.

18/10/2025: A positive experience for those who love raw seafood. We tried the scampi and shrimp: very fresh, with balanced and flavorful seasonings. The oysters were also excellent, high-quality and served at just the right temperature. The restaurant is simple but elegant, with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Space is a bit limited, but the service is quick and attentive. The cooked dishes are limited, but the quality of the raw fish more than makes up for it. I will gladly return for another authentic seafood experience.

We enjoyed a delicious seafood and mountain appetizer, accompanied by excellent drinks. The quality, cleanliness, and courtesy were top-notch. It's one of those places you instantly want to return to!
