18/08/2025: Good menu, generous dishes, varied menu offering many options, friendly staff, nice place

06/08/2025: It's one of my favorite restaurants, culinary-wise. They serve all kinds of dishes, and they're all incredibly delicious! From pizza to pasta dishes to seafood, everything is truly delicious. The waiters are always very kind and friendly. The only downside is that it's a bit noisy, but that's understandable, considering it's always busy, because the food is excellent and people notice!

06/09/2025: A well-known local restaurant, especially known for its value for money. The fried foods and timbales were fresh, not frozen, and the batter was excellent. The pizzas were also very good.

05/09/2025: We visited the place for a business lunch. During the summer it is very hot and you are placed outside but the ambient is so beautiful. Salmon was overcooked and very dry, primo piatto was a bit too salty. Service was good but we waited for 20+ mins even though it wasn't crowdy. It is more expensive than the other restaurants and not as good, but I visited only once, so it could be different.

22/08/2025: Il Forchettone is always a sure thing! Mirko, his wife, and the entire staff are a guarantee, not to mention the food and the clean, well-maintained location. The varied menu, featuring meat or fish, is very reasonably priced for the quality of the products offered. You can sense the attention to detail and the pursuit of new flavors. Mirko's kindness makes the whole experience a pleasant one, definitely worth trying. Keep it up, guys, because quality and service always pay off. TOP!!!

23/08/2025: Food was very good traditional Italian with reasonable choice, waiting staff very quick and efficient (and speak excellent English). Prices not too bad considering it's in the shadow of the Duomo. However be careful of the wine prices, they are very expensive and start at €30 .

13/07/2025: The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The food is top-quality, prepared by the chef and owner. The location is beautiful and very characteristic, set in the middle of glass overlooking the sea. We highly recommend this experience and sharing it with others.

16/08/2025: We stayed here during our stay in Lampedusa in early August. The food and flavor combinations were excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. We were looking for alternatives besides fish, and here we found a variety of options and enjoyed a superb cheese platter with jams! We liked it so much that we returned twice during our vacation! The only downside is that the outdoor seating is unfortunately on the roadside, so it gets crowded with cars and scooters, but alas, this is a common problem for local restaurants.

10/08/2025: A very quaint outdoor table for two. The quality of the dishes is unquestionable: everything is top-notch. We started with "bombette" (actually arancini) with seafood and zucchini. Very special. We continued with amberjack tartare with Smith apples, truly divine. Recommended more for an aperitif than for dinner, as there are no main courses like pasta or second courses. In any case, highly recommended.

25/08/2025: Very nice experience, very clean hotel, very competent staff, spacious rooms, very good breakfast, we had a sea view room, very good location, we used the Lime electric bikes for rides, away from the hustle and bustle of the historic center, magnificent hotel!

24/08/2025: The room I stayed in had a partial sea view, was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The reception staff was very friendly and available to help with any questions. A plus is the garage located in the basement of the hotel (other nearby hotels don't have this). I only noticed two flaws: the shower showed some obvious signs of wear, as did one of the elevators (especially scratches).

05/09/2025: The menu changes every day, and the dishes were almost ready because of how quickly they were served. The pasta isn't very good. The portions are small but the prices are low. For four of us, we spent €40 with water and wine. Two children and two adults each had one dish.

16/08/2025: The location of the restaurant is great, super cozy on the square! Popular place that was full soon after we got a table. Nice staff. The food gets an ok rating, was completely okay and so did the price. I think we would have taken other food choices. Carbonara de mare and pasta with guanciale and artichoke. Go there for the atmosphere 👍🏻

19/08/2025: Visit this Family owned restaurant with my friends from Catania. It is a traditional Sicilian kitchen food restaurant. Most of the clients are local people and that is sign for very good local kitchen. From pizza , pasta , meat , fisch … great food ! I took grill meat plates. Smells and taste it great . Service is very fast and very friendly. I was the second time here and of course not last time ! It’s like the name of the restaurant says , “ at home of friends “

28/08/2025: Everything was excellent, except for the manager... he treats the waiters rudely and makes the customers nervous too. If he weren't there, the place would definitely be better because the food and service are good.

09/09/2025: The food is of excellent quality and well served (the cook deserves applause), the place needs attention, for example the spotlights work intermittently and need to be replaced.

09/09/2025: The only real shame is having to dine like in a canteen... with a lot of noise and a risky location for what the restaurant offers.

02/09/2025: FANTASTIC❣️ ❣️ ❣️ Excellent food, cooked and presented in the best possible way, wonderful hospitality, and you feel pampered throughout the meal. The girls are welcoming, extremely knowledgeable, infinitely patient, and absolutely knowledgeable about everything. Excellent food, carefully selected ingredients and prepared with care. Highly recommended.
