In this tourist-heavy neighborhood, this restaurant is impeccably clean with a sleek and chic decor. The zucchini, red peppers, and seafood pasta are excellent. The clams are a bit too oily, but overall, they're very good.

I went here for lunch with friends from Milan and, with great pride, was able to introduce them to dishes that truly represent Naples.
The ragù was exactly like the one at home: flavorful, slow-cooked, and made with care. The broccoli rabe was perfect, just like we eat them, and so was everything else we ate: the genovese, the meatballs, and the tracchia.
I will definitely return, and I recommend it especially to anyone who wants to truly understand what it means to eat Neapolitan food.

Great experience! We ate really well, with tasty and well-prepared traditional dishes, with authentic and genuine flavors.
A special mention for the desserts, truly fantastic and among our favorites.
The service was fairly quick and the staff were friendly.

Antica Trattoria da Carmine was a great surprise – excellent food right in the middle of the very touristy centro storico.
The Fusilli Casarecci alla Carmine were delicious. I will definitely come back for this dish when I’m back in Naples.

Recommended by friends, and we were right! We had a delicious meal, including a selection of mixed fried antipasti, eggplant parmigiana, and a selection of first courses. There was a problem with my order, which I misunderstood, but they quickly fixed it with what I wanted. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is very quaint. They don't take reservations, but we didn't have to wait long for our food; in fact, they even offered us a spritz while we waited!

We had a great time! The atmosphere was new and elegant, with good and attentive waiters.
