30/11/2025: Last night, we had a wonderful experience at Chef Filippo Saporito's Leggenda Dei Frati. The venue is simply enchanting, located inside Villa Bardini and boasting a breathtaking view of the city. Hard work, research, and thoughtfulness create a wealth of flavor. The cuisine is deeply rooted in the local area, and the wine selection is the result of long and meticulous dedication. Some courses are already missing as soon as you finish them, but the crescendo of flavors in each dish makes you want to see what else the chef will delight you with. The bread, too, is incredible, masterfully presented in all its forms, creating the perfect pairing with the dishes. The desserts are simply a triumph of flavor. Every detail of the dishes exudes love and care. An experience truly worth experiencing.

11/10/2025: I cannot, in good conscience, give this restaurant a good rating. This is the worst Michelin-star experience I’ve encountered; in fact, it’s the most disappointing meal of my entire trip to Italy. The presentation is beautiful, but the flavors missed the mark completely. The sweet shrimp dish is the only one I somewhat enjoyed, but it was merely scraps in the soup. It feels ridiculous to be served such a minimal portion for such an expensive meal. Can I please have a full shrimp? The tiny bits in there do not constitute a full serving. Then came the pasta, which was bland, and the stuffed pasta resembled mush—what was that? I completely lost it with the next dish: chicken liver. First off, another bread heavy dish after a few bread dishes already. The balancing and pace of this meal is completely off. Secondly, I usually relish, as I love pâté, foie gras, and similar delicacies. However, this dish tasted overwhelmingly bloody, making it inedible. The pigeon, which I am familiar with and grew up eating, also had an unpleasant taste, oozing with blood. I love a medium rare steak but this dish literally tasted like blood. At this point, I felt nauseated and decided to ask for the check before dessert. As for the bill, the waitress initially told us the drinks were complimentary, so we decided to give them a try. That turned out to be untrue. We were charged for everything, bringing our total to a staggering $450, which is excessively high, even by US standards. We left feeling robbed, and I even experienced stomach pain afterward. If you think you’ll enjoy a nice view during dinner, you are in for a disappointment. We were greeted with trees completely blocking the city skyline, only getting a glimpse of it after our meal. Additionally, I noticed there were only three tables occupied in the entire restaurant on a Friday night, which was quite telling. I wish I could have my time and money back. This was for our wedding anniversary and truly completely ruined our day. It’s an incredibly disappointing experience, and I can’t help but feel frustrated thinking about it.

18/10/2025: Super cute place behind Santa Croce! A bookstore that's also a restaurant and bar, with a quiet atmosphere and plenty of books everywhere. The vegetarian and vegan food is really good (even for non-vegans!), with carefully prepared and light dishes. We had three first courses, two second courses, wine, three desserts, and three coffees—all excellent and only €29 each. The service was kind and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

14/09/2025: Beautiful place and delicious food

10/12/2025: A table of 15 friends at the second 2:00 PM sitting and seated at 2:40 PM. To pass the time, they brought us appetizers of chicken liver and mushroom crostini (the latter with soaked bread), some cold cuts, and a few pieces of cheese, all accompanied by good wine and hot pizza bianca. Tortelli were practically empty of filling (perhaps they didn't have enough left) and topped with three types of ragù: duck, wild boar, and Tuscan ragù... practically all with the same identical flavor and quite savory... desserts, some improvised on the spot, and a zuppa inglese, worthy of note! The bill was high for what we ate. Too bad... I remembered it better...

09/10/2025: The food is delicious. We ordered burrata, which was delicious. Their pasta is also delicious. The service is very good. They were very helpful and gave us recommendations for the best. Most likely, choose what suits you. "We ordered pasta with orange, and the burrata pasta was covered in burrata." 👌

It's super, super, amazing, extraordinary, excellent, spotlessly clean, hygienic, we have dinner there every night, but if I tell you it's super, TOP-CLASS quality, AND I DESERVE IT, GENTLEMEN, YOU HAVE TO GO AND TASTE THEIR SPECIALTIES, ESPECIALLY THE PIZZA 🍕 It's SUPER. 05/11/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant last night, a great experience! Delicious dishes made with top-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. 01/10/2025: Located just off the road side, it is a good place to have a nice meal for a reasonable price especially when compared to other restaurants nearby. It has both outside and inside seating. They have a good food menu and a bar menu. Their menu has meal options (starter/main meal/ side/ dessert) starting from 18€ per person. This option would be better and economical if you are in for a full meal. Their portion sizes were absolutely good and filling. We ordered a seafood risotto and a spaghetti carbonara with two drinks - (pictures below) over all its a nice place.

10/11/2025: Far too expensive for what it is. For example, €12 for a "fettunta" tartine with thin slices of tomato. The dishes are decent, standard fare, but not very generous. The chocolate fondant wasn't great. It's clear that the "customer" reviews on all the platforms aren't verified at all. Look elsewhere.

18/09/2025: Definitely... The establishment is very well presented and has a pleasant outdoor space with reserved parking for guests. The cuisine is focused on quality, and it shows. Unfortunately, the seafood salad wasn't to my liking, but the fried oxtails were flavorful and dry, the grilled octopus was just the right amount of toughness, the spaghetti with clams was delicious, and the red prawns were delicate. To finish, we tried the tiramisu and the zuccotto, both homemade and both delicious. The service is attentive, although aside from Marco (my heartfelt compliments for his manners), there are some gross errors unworthy of the establishment. The bill is absolutely in line with the offerings and the quality of the food. An absolutely positive experience.

21/11/2025: I am the king of lasagna but found one that's even better than my own. This one was the real classic Italian version. Brilliant. One critique about the restaurant itself: please install a curtain in front of the door to keep the cold out. it's not so nice to sit at the front now.

27/11/2025: What a wonderful place, the young waiter was such a great lad, so polite and attentive, he an assent to the restaurant, and the free shot at the end was great, I could recommend this place for a great meal and wonderful staff, the food was exceptional, my starter the mushroom flan was unreal the flavours just screamed out.
