16/08/2025: We had dinner there one evening by chance, just the two of us, on the terrace. A short and efficient menu with 100% homemade products displayed in large letters. No waiting, we enjoyed ourselves. Very pleasant service, with a touch of light humor that makes the difference, and creates a serene atmosphere. This kind of small establishment deserves to be highlighted

17/08/2025: I found this place through online research, and I must say I was very impressed with the location. We booked dinner for two. It's a very unique place with a beautiful sunset view. Attached to the restaurant is a lovely church. The staff are very kind and friendly, and the dishes are traditional and excellent value. The charcuterie and cheese platter is excellent. The wait between courses is perhaps a bit long... but it's worth the wait. We'll definitely be back.

17/08/2025: I'm from the area, and for us, this restaurant is one of the few you can visit without being ripped off like a tourist, which is all too often the case in the Chianti area. Friendly, energetic, excellent cuisine and platters, excellent house wine, and fair prices. The location is also lost in the past, with a small Romanesque church next to the restaurant, under whose loggias a group of elderly people play Burraco.

30/07/2025: Delicious pizza, risotto, pasta with seafood. Risotto was great, wild rice and seafood were fresh, first amazing risotto in a long time. Charming waiter. Reasonable prices. I recommend.

30/07/2025: This is my first time ordering takeout from this place (so it could have been an isolated incident, but I don't think so). A terrible experience. I was half an hour late despite having a reservation, and they even charged me right after I arrived. After all this, the pizzas were raw. I understand the difficulty of managing so many people; mistakes can happen, but I've had very few experiences this bad.

12/07/2025: This is my second time stopping here for a meal. I found both the food and the atmosphere excellent. Being from Verona, I can't come here often, but whenever I'm passing through, I'll stop here. As a camper, there's somewhere to park my camper, and if you want, like me, I can also sleep here in the Pozzi Montelupo Fiorentino parking lot.

The garden outside adds even more charm, making it a perfect spot for lunch. 📚🍷🌿 The food was outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, with delicious vegetarian options that really impressed us. 🥗 What made the experience so memorable was the kindness of the staff: although lunchtime was officially over, they still welcomed us with such warmth and served us as if nothing was too much trouble. Since we were the last guests, it almost felt like a private dining experience – something we’ll always remember. 💫 A wonderful combination of atmosphere, hospitality, and excellent food – definitely a highlight of our trip! ❤️

Cada plato fue elaborado con tanto cuidado y creatividad, y el enchapado realmente se sintió como una obra de arte. No solo la comida era deliciosa, sino que la presentación visual hizo la experiencia aún más especial. El servicio fue atento y cálido, haciendo que toda la experiencia gastronómica fuera cómoda y agradable de principio a fin. IT fue una experiencia impecable en todos los aspectos sabor, ambiente y servicio y puedo recomendar con confianza este restaurante a cualquiera. 29/07/2025: I'm here now. It's my last day in Florence, and I went to a restaurant thinking it was the closest option on the way to my hostel. I ordered spicy pasta and beer because I don't know what meat they used; the menu listed pork. I liked the interior of the restaurant, but there was a strong smell, perhaps because Italian cuisine doesn't suit my palate, which bothered me. The owners are friendly and dedicated to their work, managing the heavy traffic to keep up with all the customers. Let's see if my pasta hasn't arrived yet, hopefully it won't be half raw. When I entered the restaurant, they made me wait a bit, cleared a table, and prepared it. Meanwhile, a young woman, Ponçik, had finished her meal alone and was staring at me. Looking at her, I made a decision right then and there: lonely people don't look dignified in restaurants. They look pathetic. I'm lonely too, and I wish I had someone with me to chat with, but there isn't. Anyway, I'm still waiting for my pasta. Now my beer has arrived, along with a nice glass. This pasta is still cooking.😆 I liked it, though. The entire restaurant service was handled by a middle-aged man. The man and the woman are the only two doing it. The woman is quite friendly and natural, but I didn't find the male staff serving me polite enough. Since I didn't know the place where I was waiting, it made her uncomfortable and she casually told me to go to the other side. The female staff is very sweet, she doesn't pretend to be nice.

24/07/2025: Достоинства: замечательное радушное обслуживание, вкусные блюда, правильный флорентийский стейк, превосходный жареный картофель, оригинальные домашние десерты, уютный зал и столики на свежем воздухе, умеренные по городским меркам цены, но главное - море обволакивающего радушия. Недостатки: не обнаружил. Рекомендации: настоятельно рекомендую, и не забудьте заказать к мясу жареный картофель!

19/07/2025: As in other nearby places, the service with so many tourists is quite terrible. First, they brought the drinks after a while and they were no longer cold, then they made a mistake with one of the pizzas, we waited a while for the bill and on top of that, they charged us 6 euros for this service and I had to go to the register to pay. As I said, bad service.

09/07/2025: I tried the best wood-fired Neapolitan pizza. The restaurant is located in Florence's beautiful historic center, very close to the train station and Piazza Duomo.
