27/08/2024: Ho messo 4 perché i tagliolini al tartufo sapevano un po' di poco... Ma i pici all'aglione erano strepitosi, così come anche il peposo!!!! Non sarà stato di classe ma la scarpetta l'ho fatta! Ambiente soft e camerieri gentilissimi. Ci torneremo volentieri!

25/08/2024: We had been walking around Florence on a particularly hot day and had just come down from the Piazzale Michaelangelo. It was early evening and looking for somewhere nice for dinner. Luckily we found a table for 4 outside on the pavement at this nice establishment. The young waitress who greeted us was excellent. She spoke very good English and made us feel very much at home. She had recently returned from a vacation in Bavaria which she was happy to share with us. After ordering our drinks (I had a large local draft beer) I went for a beef strip meal with parmesan & rocket. It was delicious if rather on the modest, small size. The rest of the family had pasta and salad. I convinced our daughter to try the Negroni cocktail which, we discovered was invented in Florence. A fact that our waitress didn't know! It was delicious - packed full of alcohol. The chilled bottled water was a reasonable 2,00€ and the ubiquitous cover charge was only 1,50€ per person. In all, we left 60,00€ for the four of us which I thought was great given the fact that we were in Florence! Oh, and both our tired and hot dogs were well tolerated here. They offered some water which they lapped up thirstily.

09/08/2024: We found Tarocchi as we were descending the hill lookout, and were trying to find a place to eat. We were welcomed by friendly staff, who kindly served us in English. Food was excellent. Very good priced, with a separate menu for gluten free options. Atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. Would recommend for a meal anytime, but especially after some decent walking.

03/08/2024: Truly excellent pizza, size and flavour. You can choose the height of the pasta and whether it is wholemeal or normal. The menu is also well stocked with first courses and starters. The place is nice and nice and the staff girl is smiling and friendly

28/07/2024: Delicious pizzas! Even the gluten-free one! Fast and impeccable service! Excellent cheesecake! We will definitely be back. The waitress is wonder woman!

13/07/2024: Sono di firenze ed ho scoperto questo squisito ristorante grazie a thefork . La location è davvero elegante, potevamo scegliere tra la sala interna impeccabile e il giardino esterno curatissimo . Il personale è perfetto, fanno sentire il cliente un re. Sono andato con mia moglie, Abbiamo iniziato con dei piccoli antipasti superlativi e proseguito dal menu alla carta scegliendo due antipasti , un primo e un secondo . tutte le portate erano deliziose. Credo sia il migliore ristorante in Toscana , se la gioca tranquillamente con il ristorante del four seasons che comunque è molto più costoso. Antipasto : seppie voto 10, uovo voto 10, risotto voto 10, pesce voto 10. Caffè voto 10. Voto complessivo 10- , con il - perché non permettono di pagare con thefork pay .

15/06/2024: Chef Claudio has perfectly combined tradition and innovation, his dishes are an explosion of flavours, well balanced and aesthetically perfect. The service was impeccable, the dining room staff, in addition to being extremely professional and knowledgeable, is also very friendly and kind. The environment is very well looked after, the garden creates a pleasant atmosphere with lots of greenery. I recommend anyone to try this experience and to rely completely on the staff, they are exceptional!

11/08/2024: Title: if you can't manage all those places, reduce them. The amount of people there in the first and second shift is shocking, chaos even in the orders, one waiter in particular arrives and while you are giving him the order he gets lost around interrupting you by moving away to arrange any other customers at the table... and guess what happens then? Commands that arrive at random and distant from each other. Absolutely good quality food and you can feel it, with generous portions. I absolutely do not recommend Saturday or Sunday (when I came). For the rest, a restaurant with a lot of potential... but the number of waiters or how the service is managed needs to be reviewed.

08/08/2024: A really lovely early dinner with my daughter. A beautiful dinner setting in a large lush floral garden. The servers where very kind and welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious. Very kid friendly. We were lucky to have the place quiet as it was just before their serving time. Very happy to recommend them and would definitely come back

29/08/2024: We went twice in a row because the food was so delicious. You can sit inside and outside. The staff is awesome and speaks english The restaurant is run by a family and offers very authentic italian food

26/08/2024: So dissapointed. Ordered a medium steak. It was not medium. It was very well done. Tried to tell the waiter politely, and he blew me off completely. I will never be back…

14/08/2024: Having dinner at the Garga restaurant was an experience that we will certainly remember with joy. We were greeted by very kind and attentive staff. Each dish is carefully prepared, of high quality, and you can finally enjoy a colourful, very particular environment. The tagliolini del Magnifico and the cheesecake are recommended!

13/08/2024: We had such a beautiful meal a couple of days ago! A couple of your group shared the 2 person t bone steak - best they have ever had!! I had the orange, lemon and cognac pasta which definitely was award winning! Such a unique and beautiful flavour. The service was amazing too!! Would definitely recommend! Thank you

24/07/2024: I recently dined at this restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed by their poor problem-solving skills. When we raised the issue of the slow service, a male waiter responded very impatiently, stating bluntly that it was just slow. He displayed a careless attitude and vented his frustration onto us, showing a complete lack of basic skills necessary for the service industry. As an individual, he also lacked basic manners and courtesy. The problem we faced was minor and could have been easily resolved. He could have checked with the kitchen or explained the reason for the delay, but instead, he brought his personal emotions to the table, making us feel unwelcome and ruining our dining experience. We do not expect servility from service staff, but basic politeness and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. If you plan to dine here, be prepared for extremely poor service and a negative dining atmosphere.

21/08/2024: El servicio por parte de un camerero pesimo, le comento que soy vegetariana y alergica a las nueces y le a faltado reirse en mi cara. No a intentado ni a hecho el esfuerzo de hablar otro idioma. Precio desorbitado para lo pesima que era la comida. No a vuelto a aparecer por la mesa y despues de 20 minutos sin aparecer le hemos tenido que pedir la cuenta a otro camarero. Nos querian cobrar cosas que ni nos han servido, por la poca atencion a nuestra mesa.

06/08/2024: pleasantly surprised. I was worried that it was going to be a tourist trap since its right on the square but I really enjoyed it. I had the spaghetti Vongole (with linguine instead) and the tiramisu and honestly everything was packed with flavor. Loved it. The waiters are also super lovely and easy on the eyes! Recommend!

24/07/2024: The house wine is well above average, very good. The pizza and pasta are really good. Best place to eat pasta in Florence.

02/08/2024: I NEVER leave reviews, but Saporium Firenze may be one of the top twenty restaurants in the world right now. As someone who has eaten at hundreds of Michelin starred restaurants, and as a former restaurant owner myself, believe me when I say the tastings menus are Michelin 3 star. The vegetarian tasting is stunning (they do not force the entire table to have the same tasting menu, bravo). The menus balance savory with unique sources of acidity and sourness (fermentations, etc…) to create perfect harmony, sadly lacking at many places. The food is neither too heavy nor too ethereal. Both tasting menus we had were mistake free. Front of the house is perfect, charming, warm, and thoughtful. Wine list is massive and has a few hidden gems at reasonable prices (heavy on the Italian selection as you would guess but hey, drink local). If you are looking for modern creative italian fine dining with a soul still intact then just go. Seriously. Just go. You don’t need to know more.

15/08/2024: Ottima pizzeria, atteso un po' per il tavolo ma non avevamo prenotato e tutto sommato l' attesa non è stata lunga. Pizze ottime impasto morbido e non bruciacchiato ai bordi. Ordinato una pizza vecchi ricordi con pomodoro, fiordilatte e basilico ed una ortolana con rucola, burrata, verdure di stagione e pomodorini gialli, unico appunto i pomodorini erano al naturale e non confit come indicato a menù.

13/08/2024: The salmon carpaccio listed among the dishes of the day becomes a smoked salmon dish that has nothing to do with the fish carpaccio, nor with the menu of the day which usually offers fresh dishes. When pointed out to the waiters, they are not offered to replace it with something else nor is a discount offered at the end of the dinner to mitigate the inconvenience.
