23/05/2025: Unfortunately, our experience with this restaurant was extremely disappointing. We had booked for a school trip and paid a deposit, but due to the train strike we were unable to reach the restaurant. Even though the situation was completely out of our control, the restaurant decided to withhold the deposit without showing any understanding or willingness to find a solution. To make matters worse, the staff was rude and not very open to dialogue, responding to our requests with little courtesy and total indifference to the difficulties we faced. Such an attitude is not only unprofessional, but denotes a total lack of respect towards customers. A real shame, because a minimum of flexibility and common sense would have made the difference. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for seriousness and attention to the customer.

04/05/2025: Celebrated our son's eighteenth birthday, informal but nice environment, very kind staff, they handled all our requests with professionalism, varied mixed starter and all very good, steak and grilled meat accompanied by an excellent fresh salad and roast potatoes, recommended

30/05/2025: Great restaurant. I celebrated my birthday here and they reserved a room just for us. Super kind and super attentive staff, the water, wine and bread were replaced every time we needed them without having to call them ourselves. Very good and plentiful food. A beautiful memory of my 25 years.❤️

26/05/2025: I went there for the first time for a confirmation. The location is beautiful, the food is good even if the portions are small and you have to ask several times. Apart from a gentleman who in a very rude manner repeatedly reprimanded the boys who were playing football, a rare exception, the service was kind and helpful. I recommend

11/05/2025: We were very disappointed eating here. The evening before we had ester st the Trattoria Santa Lucia 50 metres away with which we were delighted with the food and service. At Golosi the waiter was unwelcoming and irritated that we chose items not available but notvtellingvusctill after we had ordered. The second time 10 minutes after we had ordered. Heceas however very welcoming smiley and pleasant to the tables of young women however! The food was average but nothing special which we had expected as it had Michelin awards shown on the door although 3 years out of date!!. Interesting the table with 4 young women who came in and only ordered 2 deserts between the 4 of them were offered complimentary digestivos unlike ourselves.

11/05/2025: Wonderful place! Family atmosphere, delicious pasta, the best cheesecake ever (yes, cheesecake in Italy!) I recommend it with all my heart and belly!

04/04/2025: Dopo un anno di preparativi siamo arrivati al giorno del matrimonio ieri, Giovedì 3 Aprile e devo dire che è andato tutto stupendamente, complice principale questa bellissima cornice naturale, con un lago immerso nel verde ai piedi di questo bellissimo ristorante dove il cibo è semplicemente divino e lo staff fantastico: Alberto, il nostro anfitrione, è l'esatta definizione di professionalità, cordialità e disponibilità; la figlia è un'esplosione di solarità e simpatia, col suo sorriso a 32 denti; menzione speciale alla donna che ho identificato come capo sala, Marianna, un generale tra i camerieri (impeccabili), sempre pronta a cogliere e soddisfare tempestivamente le nostre richieste, superba. Sceglierei di nuovi Il Lago "Eventi" per il mio matrimonio? Tutta la vita! Sono stati i nostri angeli in paradiso durante il giorno più bello della nostra vita.

10/05/2025: La comida era muy agradable, sabrosa y muy bien presentada. Excelente ubicación, especialmente cuando estábamos alojados en el hotel. El servicio fue excelente y se prestó de manera oportuna. El personal era muy atento, pero no demasiado.

09/05/2025: Dinner our first night in Florence. Seafood may not have been as fresh as I’m used to, but fun. My husband loved the wine pairing. His beef was delicious, rustic and his tiramisu was everything one could hope for in an Italian vacation dessert. Amazing olive oil and I loved the touch of the leather table mat. The service was super attentive and thoughtful.

10/05/2025: The place is very nice, the food is good, BUT BEWARE THEY WILL CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR BILL AT THE CHECKOUT (the blonde cashier is grumpy and not very friendly but the worst thing is that she doesn't know how to do the math for the change!)

03/06/2025: A gem of a restaurant! My parents recommended it to me and so we went there with my boyfriend.. The place is wonderful... very welcoming both inside and out... The waiters are very kind, prepared, friendly and nice.. The fish is excellent and fresh... Well-balanced and tasty dishes.. The only "sore" note (if I may say so) is the portions... My parents went there last year and the first courses and the fried food were immense in quantity, while when I went there with my boyfriend they were very normal... But they were excellent... The prices are medium-high, but obviously being top quality fish it is normal.. I have eaten many fried fish in my life and I think this is one of the best I have ever eaten... I will spend one more word for the environment: truly special... Inside (large place) it is "chaotically balanced" and with a decor that winks at the maritime but combining it with tables, chairs and wooden furniture... like a "sea hut" :) I felt at home.. There is also a floor below, but I have not seen it so I cannot say how big it is.. The exterior is a mix between modern, bucolic and classic.. there are benches, a path and various tables... all in the greenery... it seems like being in a small fairy garden.. Then there are two parking lots: one in front of the entrance (gate) and the other further down and it is really huge and you can enjoy a beautiful view to get there... I can't wait to go back! ☆☆☆☆

11/05/2025: Out of a two week trip exploring Italy, this was by far the best meal we had! We were blown away by the incredible view when we arrived, and then watched a beautiful sunset over the vineyards. The whole staff was lovely and kind enough to speak with us in English. The food was perfection, we ordered a little bit of everything and shared it all. The truffle gnocchi was so good it made me a cry a little! If you are in the area, you need to eat here!!

10/05/2025: •Not welcoming • The place was recommended by a Friend, after 40 minutes standing outside in Q in the sun with a small baby in a carry and old woman the rude girl working didn't welcome us because the baby take place and don't order or something.she just kept us wait and wait. Obviously we will not return.

02/05/2025: Excellent inn located on the road from Florence to Greve in Chianti. Great rooms, great restaurant, great service. Ideal for visits to the various Chianti estates.

01/05/2025: Scelto com albergo, una bella scoperta perché è proprio una vecchia locanda dove sei accolto con gentilezza e professionalità dal titolare e ti senti subito a casa. Poi la cena è stata la seconda sorpresa. Pochi tavoli ma menu di primo ordine e cucinato con cura e precisione. Per ultimo dalla nostra stanza panorama stupendo sulle valli del Chianti classico
