14/08/2026: Probably one of the best restaurants I've had the chance to try recently. A pleasant discovery. The menu and dishes are carefully chosen, respecting the ingredients and the producers. Everything is delicious. The place and the owner himself are worth discovering, the latter for his lively personality that stays with you throughout the dinner. The only small (but major) flaw: the bathroom - I would recommend greater attention to cleanliness.
Highly recommended.

13/08/2026: Very nice and welcoming atmosphere, shame about the welcome from the waiter and the general service, and above all the 40 minute wait for the cutting board for a "mini cutting board" for the rest everything is ok

The place is beautiful, welcoming, and warm. Fantastic selection of cured meats and pecorino cheese, delicious onion soup, and homemade tortelli.
The tiramisu was also delicious.
Highly recommended.

05/07/2026: This review is for the restaurant, not hotel. This was one of the best meals we had in Italy. The views are outstanding and taking the funicular to the old town was a fun experience. My husband and daughter shared the steak Florentine, and the waitress presented this huge beautiful cut of meat to show us before it was cooked. The presentation when it came out was spectacular and so large it needed its own table. My braised pork shank was perfectly cooked and juicy.

16/05/2026: Fantastic Restaurant in Certaldo. The food was incredible. We had a Caprese salad. The Mozzarella and Tomatoes were delicious. Mains included the Cuttlefish Ravioli and Pici with Tomato and Garlic (which had this amazing sweetness). Both mains were top class. The restaurant was busy however that did not impact the service. Lots of vegetarian options. While we did not have the pizza, it looked delicious and large.

10/04/2026: We ate at this osteria on the evening of April 4, 2026.
The interior is very charming, and the outdoor tables (where we ate) are set along the village street, very charming.
Traditional food served on pans.
We discovered the "coccoli" and felt truly pampered by the staff.
Highly recommended.
Perfect value for money.

08/04/2026: The food was amazing, especially the “I Pici All’ aglione” (best pasta we’ve ever eaten!). The prices were good, approx 10-11 for the pasta we ordered. The staff was kind and welcoming. Only problem was that there was a cover charge even though no bread was served (2€ per person). But overall great experience!

12/10/2025: We were camping nearby for a few days and wanted to do some shopping on Saturday afternoon. According to the internet, the market was supposed to be open from 5 p.m., but when we arrived, it was closed. Opening hours on Saturdays are only until 1:30 p.m. A shame.
16/09/2025: An unforgettable evening, spaghetti with homemade basil pesto, white wine... the warmth, simply perfect! This will remain a highlight of our trip to Italy this year. Thank you.

25/07/2025: Deze zaak is volledig veranderd en serveert geen pizza's meer. Het is nu een enoteca en niet geschikt voor kinderen. Dit hadden ze wel even mogen aanpassen op Google en hier op Tripadvisor.
15/07/2025: It's no longer in business. It closed permanently a year ago.

27/04/2025: Pranzo stupendo per il ponte del 25 aprile.
Tutto perfetto,non dimenticherò mai gli spaghetti alla vigliacca FANTASTICI.
16/11/2024: Ci siamo fermati per un aperitivo e, nonostante la temperatura non proprio estiva, abbiamo scelto di stare fuori nello splendido giardino / terrazza del locale, davvero una meraviglia! Ci torneremo, magari a cena.
