My wife and me dined here last week 3 times, good wine plenty of choice food was excellent , service was efficient, friendly and non intrusive , we had Bistecca alla Fiorentina 2nd night and it was simply devine, staff were attentive and welcoming, thanks Derek and May see you next Autumn , easy 9.5/10

One of the last restaurants still open in Florence. Excellent food, cloth tablecloths, and no music. Highly recommended. The steak and dessert are unmissable. At lunchtime, there's a workers' menu and a la carte, and in the evening, a la carte only. Personally, if I want to make a good impression on guests and friends, I come here.

We arrived around 7:30 PM and were able to enter without a reservation. Despite being located in the heart of the tourist area, the restaurant's relaxed atmosphere left a lasting impression. Credit cards are accepted, providing a sense of security for travelers. The food exceeded our expectations. They offer a wide selection of game dishes typical of Florence, each perfectly prepared to bring out the full flavor of the ingredients. The game dishes in particular were odorless, with the pheasant being a bit of a mixed bag. We truly enjoyed the local culinary culture. The staff were friendly and kept a comfortable distance, allowing us to relax throughout our meal. The restaurant's calm and comfortable atmosphere makes it easy to find yourself wanting to return. This is a solid, satisfying restaurant highly recommended for both tourists and everyday dining.

Acquacotta is a family-run restaurant with great attention to detail, both in terms of ingredients, menu, and decor. The service is friendly and efficient, and the menu is more varied than most tourist restaurants in Florence. We had a 1.3 kg Florentine steak for two, delicious! We'll be back.

Explanations, of course, to ensure your expectations are met and your tastes are understood: both for the food and the wine! And the refinement of perfect Tuscan cuisine, a delight for the palate! Try the minestrone, it's delicious; the sea bream is remarkably cooked, the beef fillet is a treat; so tender and crispy! Add to that perfectly paired wines and the highlight of dessert: a delicious tiramisu and those crunchy biscuits to dip in sweet wine! Ahhh, pure torture!
