Cozy and quiet place, varied menu and excellent quality of raw materials. A note of merit for the wild boar, tiramisu and millefeuille. Professional and kind staff, it is definitely worth stopping at this restaurant.

When I think of Italian food I think of Acquacotta.This is the place you go for a true Florence experience. The food is exceptional, the filet with Chianti sauce is a must. The staff/owners are lovely and are true pros of the business. We were here for lunch and dinner both times were amazing…wonderful memories including being proposed to here!

Just loved this little neighbourhood restaurant of the Santa Croce. The lovely proprietress squeezed my family in on this busy pre-New Year’s Saturday, and we were most impressed . Such an appealing and rather extensive menu of Italian and Florentine dishes, that it was rather hard to decide. Rabbit, pork and wild boar were all great, with beautiful potato, bean and spinach sides. Wonderful tira mi su and cheesecake desserts too, and a most acceptable house red wine. This was a really lovely meal.

Siamo stati in questa graziosa trattoria toscana per uno spuntino veloce in attesa dell’inizio di uno spettacolo al teatro La Pergola. Un antipasto toscano condiviso e una buona ribollita, il tutto accompagnato da un calice di ottimo vino. Servizio veloce e attento, ambiente caldo e accogliente, conto onesto.
Ci torneremo per assaggiare anche altre pietanze!
