15/09/2025: The food was exquisite! Both the pici with guanciale and the parpadelle with wild boar were spectacular. For dessert I recommend trying the homemade chocolate cake. As for the service, we were served by a man with a very good sense of humor and we had a very enjoyable meal!

14/09/2025: The best food we had in Greve in Chianti, we ordered the Pici and ragu which were so good we came back later that week. The staff is very friendly and joyfull which adds to the overall atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend eating here. Thank you for having us.

08/10/2025: We ended up there by chance because we were still waiting for our hotel manager. Unfortunately, all the tables were taken, but we were allowed to leave our suitcases there and were seated after about 40 minutes. Hungry and slightly cold, we weren't expecting much, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Great, authentic Tuscan cuisine and the best Fiorentina steak! Plus, excellent and attentive service. A top recommendation for Tuscany. Reservations required. Thank you for hosting us.

04/10/2025: We came based on a recommendation but left disappointed. Overpriced a touristic, but to be expected with this location. Vegan options were barely available, and even a basic vegan pasta came with extra charges for every ingredient, which was frustrating. We also felt so rushed by the staff at the end, even though the place wasn’t full at all. Almost like we were being pushed out. Besides that, food was very good and fresh but overall, not a pleasant experience for the price.

14/09/2025: This cooking class was an amazing experience, a must when visiting Florence!!! The guide was so kind, funny and really dove into the Italian culture. The pasta and unlimited wine were amazing. We even made friends from the class!

08/10/2025: A hidden gem of a restaurant! Excellent food and a family atmosphere. We had the florentine steak which was excellent (it was priced per kg, and we could specify a size), and the side of roast potatoes were so tender. Definitely recommend!

01/10/2025: We came back here several times during our family holiday in Florence. The food was excellent, the pricing very fair, and the atmosphere pretty unbeatable - I mean, look at the location! Yes, it is hard to get a bad pizza in Florence, but these were some of the best we've had anywhere. The Pappardelle al sugo di cinghiale was absolutely delicious too. And the waiters were really nice with the kids. Also, had a great chat with the manager who is an Iron Maiden fan. Top marks all around!

13/10/2025: I stopped for lunch. The waitress and owner were very kind... I had a main course and a dessert. Sliced ​​Limousine sirloin steak with blue Mugello fondue. Apple pie with vanilla cream. 🤤 The house wine was also excellent.

The service was impeccable and attentive, with special attention paid to our four-year-old son, who was welcomed with great kindness. The atmosphere is truly welcoming—a simple yet refined place, with a positive energy that makes you feel immediately at ease. The staff is kind, smiling, and always available, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. We had various dishes and drinks, and everything was excellent! From the perfectly served coffees to the fresh, homemade desserts, you could taste the quality and attention to detail. Even the savory dishes were delicious, prepared with authentic ingredients and beautifully presented. We also loved the atmosphere: clean, bright, and with background music that accompanies without disturbing. It's the kind of place you can come for a quiet dinner with friends or family. In a world where all places seem the same, this little bar stands out for its authentic atmosphere and the care with which they welcome their customers. 02/10/2025: A delicious meal with friendly, welcoming service. A refreshing break from traditional Tuscan cuisine. The pasta dishes were so flavorful and the fish - bream - was exceptional. One of the best meals during our two-week vacation in Italy.

18/09/2025: this place came up right at the perfect time, we just been to boboli gardens, walking up slopes in the blistering sun, gagging for water and we see a sign “fried squid and cocktails 9€” instantly went in and amazed beyond belief.

11/10/2025: We had an incredible dinner at La Falterona! The Florentine steak was absolutely amazing. It was hands down the best steak my husband and I have ever had. Prior to cooking the steak, they bring it out to the table for you to look at and then once it is cooked, they cut it in front of you at your table. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to come back next time we are in Florence. Highly recommend!

09/10/2025: Peak fine dining experience. The location alone is one of a kind. Located in the heart of Florence inside Hotel Brunelleschi, in a tower, they have very limited seating. The reservation process alone was an adventure in itself. Our visit was to celebrate 3 Libra birthdays. Our party of 4 opted for the 9 courses. One of us decided to do the wine pairing. When I tell you, there was so much food. We would’ve probably been better off doing the 7 courses, but we wanted to eat everything. We were all falling asleep by the end of the night. One was nonstop yawning. To the unfamiliar, they focus more on seafood. Every dish is out of this world. Down to the presentation. I savored every bite. The standout for me was the oyster and how it came in two parts. It was so innovative. I loved the sauces that accented the protein and the jus. Don’t even get me started on the service. What an attentive team. I always refer to it as poetry in motion the way the team moves effortlessly that you don’t even realize when they refill your glass of water. No crumb was left behind on that table. Someone scraped up anything that didn’t belong on the table after every course. Lastly, I just want to mention what a great job they did with the birthday cake that was an add-on to our meal. It was so damn good. Grazie Chef Rocco and team for an amazing meal.

06/10/2025: I chose the seven-course wine pairing menu, and it was truly exceptional. Each dish was beautifully prepared, and the wines matched every course with remarkable precision. The sea urchin and salted roe pasta was particularly memorable — rich, balanced, and full of depth. It was also my first time trying pigeon, and it was tender and flavorful, without any trace of gaminess. The entire experience lasted about four hours, yet it felt perfectly paced and immersive. After visiting the Uffizi Gallery, enjoying this dinner felt like the most elegant way to unwind. I not only enjoyed every moment but also learned so much about wine pairing throughout the evening.
