20/03/2026: A Magical Experience It was truly a wonderful evening, a birthday present for my partner, who thoroughly enjoyed it. The venue is incredibly exclusive, located inside a historic Florentine villa, Villa Bardini, which is worth a visit in itself. The service was impeccable: the staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes and describing the wines and their pairings. We chose the "La Via di Mezzo" menu, featuring eight courses with a selection of seven wines. Each course was a discovery, a visual and gustatory experience. Personally, I was struck by the elegance and simplicity of the Beetroot: it was almost a sin to eat it. The Jerusalem Artichoke, Stravecchio, and Coffee Risotto, on the other hand, recalled the latte I drank as a boy before class. Among the desserts, the Brunelleschi Cupola with chocolate, black cherries, and ricotta was a truly delicious treat. The wine pairings were all spot-on; The wines didn't overpower the dishes, but complemented them, enriching the experience. Finally, a wonderful surprise: the view from the villa's terrace of Brunelleschi's Dome and a 200-degree panorama of Florence that rivals even Piazzale Michelangelo. This restaurant has all the credentials for a Michelin star, even if these days it's become a somewhat overused and sometimes "misleading" accolade. Many congratulations again to the Chef and all the staff!

03/03/2026: A truly welcoming and pleasant location, with friendly and helpful staff. Overall, we ate well, but the menu left a little to be desired: the tagliolini were a bit overcooked, and the fillet arrived medium rare, even though I'd asked for it. The potatoes, ossobuco, and Tuscan crostini were good, however. Perhaps I expected a little more attention to detail in the dishes from a restaurant like this.

18/03/2026: We can't rave enough about this family-run restaurant. An exceptionally good two-course lunch menu at a very good price, very friendly owners. You couldn't better fulfill the Italian lunchtime rule (look for a restaurant frequented by lawyers and construction workers).

21/03/2026: This place has a really nice atmosphere and a very pleasant ambiance. From the very beginning you are greeted by a great staff, everyone is very nice and hospitable. The food is a clear ten, a special recommendation for the Quattro Formaggi pizza, and be sure to leave room for the tiramisu because it is delicious. A true delight for all the senses, see you again!

19/02/2026: Top 5 meal of my life, and the rest of my group might rank it even higher. The food was 10/10, but it was the atmosphere that elevated the night to something we still talk about 2yrs later. We visited a number of vineyards, but it’s the €10 bottle of house red (signed by the staff) that now sits on our mantle at home.

18/02/2026: It changed owners a few years ago (grazie mille, Signora Maria e figlie!!) and, of course, the food also changed. But the current owner only added his personal touch, nothing more than that – because the quality and flavor remain impeccable. The atmosphere remains incredible, the pasta is the same, and the caramel cheesecake is, at the very least, curious: it's worth trying. Special mention for the exceptional service: even arriving for dinner at a time of low traffic (which can be an advantage), it was easy to see that the waiter not only has the training and practice to serve; in fact, he has the gift of serving well, as he was polite and kind, a gesture that has been somewhat difficult to find among Florentines lately. The same goes for the owner: he made a point of saying goodbye and chatting with us for a while. Don't be fooled by the location: even though it's close to tourist attractions (it's very close to Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio), it's not a "tourist trap" at all; quite the opposite. It's not exactly a cheap place, but the cost/benefit ratio is more than worth it!

01/03/2026: I had lunch at Il Vescovino in the heart of Chianti and the experience was truly top-notch. Eating outdoors surrounded by greenery is wonderful, the atmosphere is super relaxing. Excellent food, well-prepared dishes, and truly delicious flavors. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. The service was kind and attentive, without being intrusive. Perfect for a quiet lunch outside the city. Highly recommended 👍

27/02/2026: Tourist trap... 12-euro cheese platters are beyond reproach, as is the cold cuts platter with 7-8 slices of transparent salami and 4 slices of ham. Pici are good, and the meat is nothing special, but I'm sorry. Despite the beautiful view (which I didn't enjoy due to the season), it's illegal to spend 80 euros for 5 euros, if you want to overdo it, for cheese and cold cuts, a plate of pasta, and a small slice of tagliata with a potato. One star for the bill, but the food quality is still average for the area.

18/03/2026: I went there to eat with my friends for Women's Day, the music was very loud and we couldn't talk to each other without shouting. We asked if it was possible to turn the volume down a bit but they didn't turn it down... the service was excellent, the waiters kind and friendly but I expected the food to be better.

01/04/2026: It is delicious and the service is very friendly!! I had something like truffle mushroom cream ravioli, and the taste was so amazing that I practically licked the plate clean. For the T-bone steak, they came over beforehand to show you the weight, and when the food arrived, they explained how to sprinkle salt and olive oil on it. They provided a warm plate, so the meat stayed warm and delicious for a long time!! (Be careful, it is hot!) Make sure to make a reservation!! Although it is a bit pricey, it is a great place to stop by after visiting tourist attractions, and the atmosphere is wonderful!!

31/03/2026: Although the staff were very friendly and the place is nice, the food didn't seem anything spectacular to me (at least the two pasta dishes we ordered) and the portions were quite small.

03/04/2026: The pear faghotini were amazing. The best I've ever had, and I always order them wherever they're served. And the lasagna was absolutely delicious. With very thin layers of pasta.
