18/05/2024: We went to eat for a birthday. We ate a really plentiful and very, very good starter and the steak. Just one word for this SPECTACULAR restaurant!!! I recommend everyone to try it

22/03/2024: Rarely do you find such a well-organised restaurant around, and above all the food is really good. I ate a great raw dish, wonderfully good, well made and with excellent quality products. And the grilled fish cooked well is simply wonderful. Not to mention the welcome and the very kind, professional and competent staff. The wine list is also excellent. Well done, keep it up.

25/05/2024: A few steps from Piazza della Signoria it is in an excellent position; courteous service, I liked it even though I initially didn't like it very much looking at the tables outside, but we went inside and with the air conditioning on we had a good time; the food is good, the wine is very sweet; 45 euros each including excellent wine was an adequate cost for what we ate and for the goodness of the food itself.

07/06/2024: We tried this Trattoria as it was close to where we were staying. The reviews were great. Reviews let us down. We booked online, and it was confirmed. Upon entry, the manager couldn't find the booking, and then another waitress came over and found it. Then he proceeded to take 2 other separate groups of people to tables that arrived after us and told us to wait. It seemed that because we weren't local, we were not a priority. I ordered a Nicoise salad. What rubbish for €14. It was Iceberg lettuce, 4 olives, 3 small pieces of tinned tuna, no beans or potatoes and half a boiled egg cut into quarters!! The rest of the food we ordered was OK but not great. The place has a great ambience and it is a shame the food and some of its staff don't compliment it.

30/03/2024: We stayed on March 20th in this splendid place overlooking the Arno and it is a very beautiful location!!! The very nice and friendly staff welcomed us very well. We took two really excellent Michelangelo platters and a truly sublime bruschetta with liver pâté. What to say? We will definitely return when we come to visit Florence.

19/05/2024: Ritornato dopo un periodo che non ci eravamo più stati lo abbiamo scelto sia per la location che per il ricordo di un ristorante dove si stava bene. Infatti le nostre aspettative non sono state deluse. Buon cibo, con l inserimento di nuovi piatti accanto ai classici che vi si trovano in questo ristorante, ho preso un orecchio di elefante servito con gorgonzola e guarnito con zucchine julienne..un piatto abbondante e cucinato benissimo. Servizo veloce e attento, nonostante il locale fosse pieno, tanto da farci sentire comunque come a casa.

31/05/2024: I recently dined at Antica Trattoria "Il Barrino" and had an excellent experience. The bistecca Florentina was outstanding, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff were polite and provided excellent service, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Antica Trattoria "Il Barrino" for a fantastic meal and great service.

22/05/2024: Surprise dinner for a person in the Borghese version to test a restaurant in view of a classy dinner..... I go in and ask if there's room for one. They don't ask that stupid mantra question if you've booked, a sad bad habit of many Florentine and Tuscan restaurateurs and they seat me. So we're off to a good start. I order a specialty: Neapolitan meatballs with tomato. They're fine. Also presented very well. I continue with the Margherita pizza which is excellent and plentiful, worthy of the highest Neapolitan school. A liter of sparkling water is an acceptable wine. Result: for me it's a yes. Add a pleasant and very clean environment and we can only consider the pizzeria one of the best in Florence. Normal prices and great kindness and professionalism from Luciano and Friends....
