22/11/2025: We came in as a couple, attracted by the menu and the fair prices, and we were very satisfied. Thanks to Salvatore, who welcomed us warmly, and Manuela, who captivated our palates in the kitchen. 🤪 We ordered a menu with a first course, second course, and side dish, and we ate every dish with gusto. I would definitely return.

07/04/2026: Excellent food, quality fish, and a good price because they serve generous portions. I gave the service a 4/5 because sometimes in the smaller dining rooms there isn't a lot of staff checking on you, but overall, it's a really nice place and quality food.

09/04/2026: Perfect restaurant. A true provider. We arrived hungry and thirsty. We ate and drank. We left happy. Truly: - The price is great (we had a first and second course, wine, bread, and dessert and paid 19 EUR per person) - The service is excellent: we arrived, sat down, and the waiter came when he was supposed to come; we didn't have to wait to order or worry about calling him, he simply appeared at the right time. - There's a bus stop in front. The only downside is the queue: if you arrive late (after 8 pm), be prepared to wait. At lunchtime, we arrived at 1:30 pm and didn't encounter any queue. But I think it's worth it, even if you plan a little to arrive earlier and avoid waiting. But waiting an hour to be seated isn't the end of the world, in my opinion. I loved this restaurant, I recommend everyone go, and if I return to Florence, I will definitely go back there.

09/04/2026: It is a nice cosy cafe with super affordable and delicious food. The staff is attentive and advised us on dishes. We tried many things: tortenlleni with tomato sauce, stuff roast chicken, roast pork loin, roast beef with potatoes (blew our mind) and a desert. Everything was delicious and the tomato pasta was the best ever we had. Totally recommended the restaurant when you are in Florence. Note: the wait to get a table can be a bit long

04/11/2025: Had an excellent meal with a group. The service was superb with the manager being incredibly hospitable and welcoming. She made sure we were looked after while we were waiting for a late arrival. The food itself with superb, the arancini special antipasto and rabbit secondi were exceptional. All of the group agreed that this was the best restaurant we'd eaten at during our many visits to Certaldo.

30/03/2026: About thirty kilometers from Florence, along quiet roads and relaxing countryside, this long-established trattoria maintains its standard of traditional Tuscan cuisine with a few rather pleasant "reinterpretations." Portions are generous, but mezze is also available. Today, tagliatelle with broccoli, sun-dried tomatoes, and salted ricotta cheese is worthy of praise. Then scamerita stew in red wine with onion and aromatic herbs, and more... with Prosecco, mineral water, bread, and coffee. No-frills dining, lively service, sometimes noisy when crowded, regulars, families, and a few foreigners drawn by word of mouth. Fair prices (the Florentine steak, for example, is priced at 45 euros per kilo, compared to a low of 60 euros per kilo in nearby Florence, which ranges from a high of 140 euros). P.S. Given the beautiful day, we then climbed to the 1000 meters of the Villombrosa Abbey, and then to the Consuma Pass, with snow starting at 700 meters. Exceptional on March 28th in a nativity scene landscape. Excellent itinerary, especially in summer, very relaxing and cool, especially when the temperatures in the plains are 30-40 degrees.

29/03/2026: It's a beautiful place, no doubt about it, the food is good, and the exquisite pastries are second to none. But the best thing is the hospitality they offer, even to non-customers. This morning, the bar was packed with half marathon runners, and the staff made the entire space available to the various athletes who needed to change or use the restroom. Since the restroom at the bar wasn't enough, they also let them use the restaurant's. I've been running for a long time, but I've never experienced such hospitality. Well done, you deserve good luck.
