21/04/2025: ⸻ A weekend of pure beauty and haute cuisine in the heart of the Langhe We spent a weekend at Il Vigneto in Roddi, during a trip to discover the wonders of the Langhe, and I can say without hesitation that it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a breathtaking landscape, immersed in the quiet and authentic beauty of these hills, where calm and peace reign, now rare to find. We chose a suite for our stay and the level of hospitality was equal - if not superior - to many renowned 5-star hotels. Nothing is left to chance: the room is spacious, furnished with impeccable taste and equipped with a hydromassage tub for two people, a large and luxurious bathroom, and a King Size bed with extraordinary comfort. An environment designed for relaxation, with attention to the smallest details. I really wished time would stop. The restaurant, then, was a real revelation. The service is on par with the best gastronomic restaurants: courteous, knowledgeable and attentive dining room staff, impeccable cutlery changes, refills of bread, artisanal breadsticks and focaccias that are always fresh. Every detail is an expression of sober elegance, never forced, and above all of an authentic passion for the territory and the cuisine. The menu is balanced and original, with proposals that combine respect for tradition with innovative and never banal research. I speak as a chef: here you can perceive a profound knowledge of the ingredients and an almost reverential respect for every single product. We tasted: • Whipped egg with truffle and Parmesan cream: an elegant and intense dish, balanced to perfection. • Ravioli del plin with cocoa and gorgonzola: surprising, harmonious, with a bitter-sweet note that goes perfectly with the strength of the cheese. • Veal cheek: masterfully cooked, with a deep and complex flavour, capable of describing the territory with style and refinement. The wine list is well structured, broad and representative of the extraordinary oenological richness of the area, with proposals for all palates and levels of curiosity. In summary, Il Vigneto is a place where hospitality meets gastronomic excellence in a natural context of rare beauty. An address that I recommend without hesitation to those seeking the best of the Langhe, with the soul of those who know how to welcome and the mind of those who want to excite. 03/05/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Officine del Gusto in Savigliano and I must say it was a truly delightful experience! The service was impeccable, with friendly staff attentive to our needs. The cuisine was fantastic, with dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu is varied and offers many options for all tastes. I tried their signature dish, sea bass baked in foil, which was simply divine. I highly recommend Officine del Gusto to all lovers of good food. I will definitely be back!

10/05/2025: We stayed in the Langhe for a few days and this is the only place where we were a little disappointed, the quality of the food is average, we didn't find any excellence, in fact some defects in each course (nothing inedible for goodness sake), it doesn't stand up to comparison with other places we found nearby spending the same amount, I'm sorry to say that the staff doesn't play a particularly positive role either, we in fact found them unwelcoming, cold and even inattentive. Overall for the quality/price ratio I would not recommend it.

13/05/2025: Very welcoming place with a magnificent view of the Langhe countryside. Precise, attentive and non-invasive service. Excellent cuisine with fresh and homemade products. One of the best bunet I have ever eaten. Finally, we had a Corsican dog in tow and they made us sit at a table with ample space around it and immediately brought us a bowl of water. Compliments to all the staff.

11/11/2024: Dietro ad un passaparola della Zocca emiliana siamo riusciti ad arrivare da Filippo! E che dire…la realtà è stata maggiore della immaginazione: i tajarin,il coniglio,la sua insalatina,la pesca caramellata bastano per inginocchiarsi davanti a questa eccellenza di chef che diventa una persona umile e normale quando passa al tavolo perché vuole sentire le critiche e magari anche due parole sul Blasco per poi dire, grazie di essere stati qui. Circa 310 km ci sono voluti per arrivare ma sicuramente a breve li rifaremo perché meritano la destinazione! Grazie Filippo di questo atelier di arte culinaria!

09/11/2024: Ein Herzlicher Empfang und eine freundliche Aufmerksamkeit den ganzen Abend lang. Wo unsere Italienisch Kenntnisse versiegten, half Filippo in besten Deutsch aus. Wir genossen Kaninchen vom Grill mit besonders zart knusprigen Röstkartoffeln dazu. Da an diesem Abend weniger Gäste da waren, wurde uns als Nachschlag das ganze verbleibende Kaninchen samt Beilagen angeboten welches wir, hungrig vom Radfahren begeistert annahmen. Ich fand dies das beste Essen auf unsrer 5 Tage Piemont Tour.

01/06/2025: I had dinner with my husband. Enchanting location, we had dinner on the terrace with a breathtaking view of the Langhe. Varied menu, personalized dishes. Homemade pasta, definitely well-made! Very original dessert list, the sage pudding pleasantly surprised us. The character very kind and friendly. We will definitely be back! Congratulations to everyone.

24/05/2025: Elegant restaurant immersed in a skillfully restored village. Welcoming, spacious rooms but with the right level of privacy between the tables. Very good food and wine with refined and tasty solutions proposed. Courteous, kind and attentive staff for the needs of the celebrated occasion. Parking about 500m away.

02/05/2025: Pleasant surprise discovered while visiting a flea market. Without booking and with the place practically full, they still found us accommodation, we ate very well in a very welcoming place and served by super friendly staff. We had to wait a little while to eat, but it was absolutely worth it.

30/03/2025: Oggi non sapevamo dove andare dopo essere stati al mercatino di Benevagienna e una di noi aveva sentito parlare di questo posto. Che bella sorpresa! Location stupenda nella sua semplicità ma di buon gusto. Pranzo ottimo con voglia di tornare. Tutto fresco , casalingo ma nello stesso tempo particolare. Lo consiglio vivamente, ne vale la pena anche perché titolare e aiutante adorabili. Grazie grazie grazie !
