09/11/2025: This spaghetti restaurant in Manera was a pleasant discovery. The place isn't very big, but the owner, even though we hadn't called ahead, managed to get us a meal. The appetizers are very generous. The real highlight, of course, are the first courses: a choice of penne, fusilli, and spaghetti, followed by agnolotti, gnocchi, and tagliatelle. The gluten-free pasta is a must-have, but it's also a must-have. Before choosing your sauces, you need to decide on your portion: regular (200g), small (100g), or generous (300g) for those who want to roll out the door. The sauces are varied: meat-based, fish-based, vegetarian, unusual, and creamy, all at more than fair prices. We tried the tagliatelle alla norma, the Aida gnocchi with stracchino, chopped pistachios, and gorgonzola, and the nocino agnolotti with fontina, chopped hazelnuts, cream, and tomato. Regular portions are already generous, delicious, and, above all, easy to digest! To round out our fabulous meal, we ordered a homemade cake called "nocciotella," made with sponge cake filled with hazelnut cream and hazelnuts, served warm. I love hazelnuts, and I can say it was amazing! Kudos to the service, delivered with simplicity and professionalism, making you feel at ease. Kudos to the friendliness, quality, helpfulness, and cleanliness. We'll definitely be back with friends, but this time we'll book ahead.

25/10/2025: Whenever possible, we stop at this spaghetti restaurant in Benevello. Always a guarantee, with superb dishes and a wide selection of sauces and pastas. Highly recommended.

28/10/2025: Located just outside Santo Stefano Belbo behind the Santero Vini winery. It has ample parking and a garden with a large terrace. The location is very well-kept and charming, the portions are generous and the quality/price ratio is excellent. All the dishes are beautifully presented and the flavors are exceptional. Like this review if you enjoyed it.

14/10/2025: To say I ate well is an understatement. The reception and waitress were both excellent and very friendly. I highly recommend it for its excellent value. I'll definitely be back to eat the "bollito" and definitely rent a room. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

09/10/2025: A truly positive experience in the heart of Savigliano, just steps from the Milanollo Theater. In this welcoming restaurant, we were pampered from the moment we arrived by the attentive and kind owner, who guided us through the selection of dishes and wine with great passion. We shared six dishes between the two of us, all carefully crafted and beautifully presented: the delicate and flavorful Fassona steak tartare; the intense and enveloping chopped livers with focaccia and red onion; the perfectly balanced selection of cheeses; the tajarin pasta with snails, hazelnuts, and parsley; and the excellent game lasagna, rich and well-made. We finished on a sweet note with a tiramisu... truly delicious, as the menu promises! All accompanied by a bottle of Piedmontese red Barbere Superiore, expertly recommended and paired impeccably. We'll definitely be back; a place to treasure! Thank you for this dinner ❤️

26/11/2025: This restaurant deserves a 5-star rating because some of the dishes on the menu are works of art and are excellent. Don't miss the slow-cooked veal cheek. This is a classy place with excellent staff. The chef is a down-to-earth but capable and knowledgeable person.

27/11/2025: My boyfriend and I found this restaurant by chance during our visit to Barolo. The waiters are very friendly and made us feel at ease right away. We were served a welcome aperitif consisting of a Russian salad and a mix of focaccia, breadsticks, and bread. The ravioli are excellent, satisfying us to the last bite, accompanied by a nice glass of Dolcetto. To top it all off, we were treated to a taste of their Barolo and cinnamon biscuits, served with a smile. We've already recommended it to a couple of friends, and I recommend it to you too. Congratulations, truly.

23/11/2025: We went for dinner last night and had a great time! Excellent food, discreet and fast service, and good wine. The young man who served us gave us recommendations for some wineries, speaking about them in a truly engaging and passionate manner—truly brilliant! Special thanks to the blond waiter who prepared some cheeses for us to take away and left us a note with the explanations! I absolutely recommend this place; you won't be disappointed!

07/10/2025: As an "expat" from Campania here in Alba, it's normal for me to have fairly high standards when it comes to pizza. Yet I've never been dissatisfied at La Duchessa. Their pizza is excellent, with excellent dough and excellent cooking. They're generous with the toppings, and they have a varied menu, from classic pizzas to more unusual ones. The staff works incredibly hard (especially during peak season) but always maintains a remarkable friendliness, despite the volume of work. The atmosphere is a bit noisy when the place is full, both inside and out, but nothing serious. The prices are very fair considering we're in the north; you can't expect pizza to be the same as in Naples or Salerno (and even there, prices skyrocket in some places). All in all, an excellent place with a family atmosphere; I'll gladly return again.

19/10/2025: When I walked into this place I thought I was in a Ruben Östlund film. Minimalist, modern, with only five tables. But don’t be intimidated— our server was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent. Very nice amuse bouches as well. And it’s in a stunning location. We really enjoyed it. Small quibble: some of the seats face an extremely harsh outside light, the sort that can trigger migraines, etc. I recommend placing something on the windowsill that would block this health hazard.
