Five stars isn't enough.
We went to RossoBarolo and left with only one regret: not having enough room to order the entire menu.
We started with a simply spectacular Fassona steak, enhanced by an incredible mustard sauce, the kind that makes you close your eyes at the first bite. The veal with tuna sauce? Honestly, one of the best I've ever had. Balanced, intense, perfect.
The ravioli del plin were a true symphony: delicate yet full of flavor, made just right. Then the braised beef... indescribable. Deep flavors, incredibly tender meat, one of those dishes that stays in your memory.
And the tongue with green sauce was perhaps the biggest surprise of the evening: incredible. We literally couldn't stop eating it. The cheek was also something special, impeccably cooked and with a truly unique flavor.
Fantastic wine list: I drank an exceptional Barbaresco and we finished on a high note with a memorable Barolo Chinato.
Furthermore, the little treats offered by the kitchen were greatly appreciated: a delicious starter and a dessert to finish, demonstrating great customer service.
The service was impeccable from start to finish: professional, warm, and never intrusive. The owner was also extremely kind and made us feel truly welcomed.
A dinner that was much more than just a meal: an experience. If you're passing through Barolo, this place is a must.

At the entrance to the center of Barolo is this restaurant with tables outside in the courtyard.
All the dishes we chose were well-prepared and delicious. The desserts were also excellent, and the staff was very friendly.

Truly superb. Delicious dishes (vitello tonnato, ravioli, gelato). Wonderful wines (Erbaluce, Arneis, Nebbiolo). Very atmospheric terrace. Dinner was very well presented. And above all, very sweet and attentive service.

Today, even though it was already late, they welcomed us and delighted us with carefully prepared dishes featuring authentic flavors and fresh ingredients, recommending a good Nebbiolo.
