Osteria Rossobarolo In Barolo

My friend and I had a delicious meal here in the garden behind the restaurant. Food was very tasty and the garden looked nice. Recommended to go here.

We had lunch on Saturday, being in Barolo, I had seen it on the internet and had booked. Nice place, shame about the table near the boxes. The tartare is delicious and the risotto is good, the attention to gluten-free is excellent.

The restaurant is located in the center of the village of Barolo and the atmosphere is ideal for a romantic candlelit dinner, slow and pleasant to fully enjoy the aromas and flavors that this magnificent land offers. The service is decidedly attentive, professional and thoughtful, qualities that can be appreciated in all the people who assisted us at the table. It was very pleasant to talk with the owner about the preparations and the recipes that we were able to enjoy during the evening. Going in order, we immediately ordered a rice with Barolo which requires 20 minutes of preparation and then while waiting we had a vitello tonnato, my partner and a Fassona coltelo steak. Very good dishes where I really appreciated the tuna sauce, denser and creamier than those we are used to, and an exceptional raw material in raw meat. The Carnaroli risotto produced by a historic rice mill located in Bra was exceptional! Made with a 2013 Barolo which embellished the dish...really excellent! We then shared a heartwarming Barolo braised meat which takes 24 hours to prepare! From the infusion which begins 24 hours before to the slow cooking for 12 hours which leads to an amazing result. Never eaten a braised meat like this in my entire life. The evening ended with a very good local cheese tasting, excellently explained by the owner and with Castelmagno as the absolute protagonist! The evening was blessed with a truly fantastic Barolo Riserva Costa di Rose from the Cenciurio winery, the tasting was accompanied by a glass of Arneis passito, while a glass of Barolo Chinato was offered to us by the house. Really excellent value for money. Thank you very much!

Lovely restaurant, especially the tables in the basement. Excellent selection of wine and dishes with great care in appearance and flavour. Owner welcoming and attentive to every request, staff sometimes a little "attentive" at least not as much as the owner. Despite this we had a very pleasant lunch. Left satisfied, paid 58EUR p.p. with 2 bottles of wine, two dishes each + dessert.

Le langhe sono un luogo incantevole e ricco di prelibatezze. In questo ristorante abbiamo trovato il meglio che questa terra può offrire, dall’ottimo vino a piatti eccellenti come il vitello tonnato e il ragù di fassona INDIMENTICABILI!!

Delightful restaurant, welcoming environment, as are the owner and the waitresses. We stayed with our two dogs, absolutely welcomed in a sincere way. The lady makes you feel like a welcome guest, little thoughts from the kitchen, both before the ordered dishes arrive and after the dessert. Excellent food and really cared for. Highly recommended, it's a really nice place to come back to

Delightful, welcoming and warm place. We had dinner on the evening of December 30th, in the room on the lower floor, accompanied by our dog Jordan: the staff welcomed us with kindness and friendliness. Refined cuisine, with a touch of delicate elegance. Compliments!

per un pranzo in famiglia, per festeggiare un evento, abbiamo scelto questo carino e centrale ristorante di Barolo, di osteria ha solo il nome, è un gran bel ristorante, ero titubante per le ultime recensioni negative, invece cortesia, professionalità dei camerieri, ci hanno garantito un ottimo pranzo. Abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione, tutto ottimo, sul secondo ci hanno fatto scegliere, hanno anche accettato una variante con selezione formaggi, carta dei vini molto ampia, grande scelta con i migliori produttori della zona, vini eccezionali e per tutte le tasche. prezzo onesto per quanto mangiato e bevuto. Bravi!
