06/04/2024: We stopped at Barbabuc for one night and it was a really pleasant discovery! The owner couple was very kind and helpful from the moment of booking. We arrived late in the evening and they welcomed us and also prepared dinner for us even though the kitchen was closed. Delicious artichoke plin!! Thank you, if we were to find ourselves in the area again we would happily return.

22/12/2023: Wooooow what a beautiful evening we had!! The girls were VERY KIND, VERY NICE AND VERY ORGANIZED, the food was excellent, the cocktails (with a straw!!) too, we danced, sang and laughed a lot thanks also to the hosts who supported us in everything!!! A thousand stars are not enough! Very well kept place where you feel at home :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

01/04/2024: Having read "gluten-free options" on the internet, we thought we would find a restaurant that was up to the task. It's a shame that the only gluten-free first course was the Barolo risotto and when we asked for a risotto with another seasoning we were told that there were no other possibilities. Furthermore, my two-year-old nephew had to struggle to eat the tagliolini because we couldn't cook another type of pasta. It has never happened to me that restaurants where the "gluten-free" option is indicated do not have a gluten-free pasta dish and that in any restaurant you cannot have a pasta shape that is a little more suitable for children.

26/03/2024: Very nice and refined place. Cozy terrace with spectacular views. Impeccable and professional service. It's a shame not to have found the same quality on the menu. There were six of us and they asked us to please do a tasting menu…. Oh well. But frankly I found it poor, not pleasant in texture and taste, first and second course rather salty. It's a shame given the expensive cost. I'll try again with the à la carte menu.

05/04/2024: Sin. Really a shame. I come to have lunch at this restaurant attracted by the reviews and photos. Upon delivery of the menu, I point out to the waitress that I am a vegetarian and ask what they can offer me. I am also offered, among other dishes, risotto with salmon trout. I point out again that I am a vegetarian and this time I specify that I don't eat meat or fish. A plate of green penne with vegetable ragout is then suggested to me. Eating it, I don't notice any "strange" flavor except that, upon finishing the dish, I see some pieces of shrimp carapace. I then ask if there was any fish or shellfish in the dishes. The waitress returns looking sorry and apologizing, saying that in fact there could have been fish or parts of it in the sauce. Now, specifying that apologies may be nice but do not resolve the inefficiency and superficiality demonstrated, I would like to point out that I too, a vegetarian for 40 years, feel much more sorry than she does. Surely a restaurateur who realizes he has made such a serious mistake would be ready to offer lunch as a "reparative formula", I myself would have considered the offer of lunch (or at least the dish) as a sort of compensation for the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the service in the rooms and by the kitchen during my lunch but, upon requesting the bill, I notice that it is complete with everything. I ate the entire "shellfish" dish but, in all honesty and ethics, I would have gladly done without eating it if I had noticed it earlier. But now the question I ask is the following: If the waitress/chef, instead of making a (very serious, in my opinion) mistake towards a vegetarian, had been made towards a customer with serious allergies, what would we be discussing now? As I said at the beginning: a real shame. Obviously, in my case they lost a customer.
