18/06/2025: Excellent conclusion for a quick visit to the Langhe. The staff is friendly and the service is attentive, with a precise explanation of the dishes. The location is splendid: we had lunch in the outdoor garden, very well-kept and pleasant. The menu offers both the possibility of choosing à la carte, and two menus - one dedicated to local specialties and one based on fish. The dishes are well executed, abundant and very tasty. The selection of desserts is also interesting, all of which are made by them. Convenient parking nearby.

01/06/2025: In the authentic heart of Dogliani, where the hills stretch out like the pages of a novel and the air smells of history and lives lived slowly, stands Il Verso del Ghiottone, a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide, which perfectly embodies the poetry of the Piedmontese table. The cuisine is a hymn to the balance between tradition and creativity. The appetizers surprise with harmony and originality, such as the “arancinetta allo zafferano su crema di ceci e polvere di olive nere”, refined and enveloping, and the battuta di fassona, embellished with a crunchy wafer with Grana and caramelized onion, which gives depth and freshness to every bite. The first course, the classic tagliarini with white sausage ragù, conquers for the delicacy of the handmade dough and the savoury intensity of the seasoning. The second course, a boneless rabbit breast, stuffed with sausage and vegetables, is a true gastronomic narration: precise, balanced, respectful of peasant memory but with a modern touch. In short, Il Verso del Ghiottone is not just a restaurant: it is a place of the soul, where time slows down and each course tells a story. 13/07/2025: My wife and I had been wanting to come to this restaurant for a while, but we couldn't book. Finally, we lucked out and here we are. The food was divine, the quality of the food excellent, generous portions, 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 second courses with sides, 3 desserts, 2 bottles of water, 1 bottle of wine, 2 coffees, very fair price, excellent location, if I really had to find a flaw, it's the lack of parking. Thanks Gemma, we'll be back!

12/07/2025: An excellent osteria in Monforte d'Alba, highly recommended for both the friendly and welcoming service and the excellent dining experience. The homemade piadina is truly fresh and exceptional, and the truffle tajarin are also delicious.

12/07/2025: A beautiful osteria in the heart of the Langhe. I chose the tasting menu and was very pleased. Excellent value for what we ate. The elegant location is lovely. When I return to the Langhe, it will be one of those places I'd love to return to for a quiet dinner with good food.

14/07/2025: We had lunch for our anniversary, and enjoyed a spectacular view of the vineyards and La Morra in the background. You can already walk through the vineyards to reach the inn. The food was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for those who love good food and the spectacle of the Langhe.

19/05/2025: From a medium-high level restaurant I expected more. Service: Evening with a full restaurant and we waited a long time for the orders and the dishes. Some waiters were not very prepared, but it's not a drama. Stuffed onions with amaretto: €14, €7 per onion, it seems a bit excessive for what you get. Tortelli with herbs: €18, good tortelli, the sauce literally seems like just tomato puree, without taste.. even here for the price I expected more. Egg asparagus and fondue: not bad, I wasn't thrilled. €14 Potato gnocchi with castelmagno cheese and leeks: €15 good. Lots of tatin: €8 very good. Nice place.

13/07/2025: A tavern with restaurant-style service, in a positive sense. A good selection of traditional dishes, beautifully prepared and plated. A very careful selection of wines at very reasonable prices. If you appreciate snails (a characteristic of Cherasco), this place is a must. The menu features fried snails with a green sauce and Parisian-style snails, expertly prepared with garlic. Upon request, five days in advance, you can sample the full snail menu. I highly recommend it.

15/07/2025: We made an unexpected stop at Pizza nell' arte on the wine route. We were greeted with extreme kindness by the restaurant manager. The dishes were delicious and plentiful. There was a wide selection of salads and pizzas that you could create as you wish. Delicious local specialties. The service was fast and very attentive. We highly recommend this top-notch pizzeria!

06/04/2025: An evening of romance and good food. Last night my husband gave me a surprise: very perfect!!! The San Pietro restaurant in the pedestrian area of ​​Limone has always been a must for those who want to dine (or have lunch) in a restaurant with an elegant and old-fashioned setting. The tables, rigorously round, are arranged in such a way as to guarantee the privacy of the guests. In the center you can admire a large wooden table on which stands, among other things, an exceptional display of cheeses. We were sitting next to the fireplace. Truly superb menu. I have celiac disease and a lot of attention was paid to me: fassona meat marinated with herbs, crumbled egg yolk and sweet and sour onion. The meat is very tender, tasty and not at all salty. My husband enjoyed a very soft lamb paté (at room temperature and not frozen as often happens) with brioche bread and caramelized onions. Applause-worthy first courses: for me risotto with sausage, Barolo and goat's blue cheese. Perfect cooking and delicate flavor despite the tasty ingredients. For my husband, an extraordinary tagliatelle filled with wild boar stew: a unique flavour, unparalleled softness and, to conclude, the owner of the restaurant delighted us - in every sense - with a soft zabaglione expertly prepared in front of us! Truly a huge round of applause to the chef and his team for giving us a wonderful evening! See you soon

29/06/2025: We went here for dinner on a trip to Alba. The environment is very cozy, a nicely decorated courtyard, which even though it is just a stone's throw from the center, is neither noisy nor messy. The inn is run by a family, which is noticeable in the welcoming environment and the relaxed atmosphere. We received fantastic service and the staff always answered our questions and explained, among other things, the difference between different wines we tried. In addition to the regular menu, there was also a pasta with freshly caught seafood and a menu with dishes of the day, which we ordered from. Before the food arrived, we were surprised with a very good starter. I ordered a spiralotti with gorgonzola sauce and walnuts, which was absolutely heavenly. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was delicious and they also offered grated parmesan on top, which we accepted. The size of the portions is perfectly just right in my opinion, enough to fill you up but not nauseating. Afterwards, we each drank an espresso, as we were too full for any dessert. When we went in to pay, we talked to the woman at the cashier for a long time and also got to taste a delicious liqueur from the area. In conclusion, I can highly recommend coming here to eat, and I can't wait for the next time I'm here!

All the staff has the ability to manage with love, professionalism, every aspect, with a success of the event beyond all expectations (in our case of spouses, friends and relatives)! The kitchen, masterfully led by the D'Errico brothers, has confirmed itself as a guarantee even for events with over 100 people, always maintaining the very high quality standard in taste, presentation, creativity and refinement of the raw materials to which they have accustomed us over the years!
