31/12/2025: Achille was a very kind and helpful person. Large, clean rooms... Magnificent place. A complimentary bathrobe is also included.

25/10/2025: The property is lovely, but its true value lies in the beautiful Barbaresco hills surrounding it. It recently changed ownership, and we encountered some small difficulties, but the new, very helpful manager was able to accommodate us, demonstrating a willingness to improve and a desire to enhance the property, which already has great potential. Given its proximity to Alba and its more than competitive prices, I recommend the Terrazza del Barbaresco to anyone looking to budget and experience a few days in the authentic Langhe, among rows of vines and hazelnut trees.

23/01/2026: Dinner and overnight stay were perfect! Truly remarkable dinner, beautifully presented dishes, and top-quality ingredients. My compliments to the chef and staff.

06/01/2026: New Year's Eve Dinner Beautiful location in the Langhe; it would have been nice to come in the summer to fully enjoy it. The New Year's Eve dinner was à la carte. We drank several magnums of wine and tried the Piedmontese cuisine. Entrees: goat cheese and truffle tartlets, savory Bacio di Dama with Parmesan and Bra sausage, and mini giardiniera Pumpkin, zampone, and lentil tart with Parmesan sauce Innovative version of veal with tuna sauce Tajarin with ragù, truly excellent and plentiful Double-cooked fillet with exceptional potato chips, very tender meat. Chocolate and salted caramel tart (perhaps the only dish I wasn't sold on this evening) We were offered mandarins, peanuts, and grapes for midnight. Along with the coffee, they served small pastries. All for €85 per person. The staff was fantastic; the young lady was very kind. I would like to come back in the summer.

10/01/2026: We waited an hour for dinner....the atmosphere was clean and very simple. The only flaw is that the tables are small, but that's perhaps the art of using limited space to its fullest, and that's to be appreciated. There was no coat rack...in fact, despite the cramped space, we put everything on our chairs...and the women? Who also have bags?...well, what can I say...All in all, it was a feast! And not bad at all. Happy New Year!

08/12/2025: Dinner with relatives, a place they know because they're local. They serve appetizers, first courses, second courses, fried fish, and then pizza. I liked the location, the cleanliness, and especially the menu, with limited dishes (not too extensive), and the speed of service. The pizzas are all pan-fried with the most common toppings. There's a wide and comprehensive wine selection; after all, we're in Dogliani. I had a deviled pizza, with a nice crispy crust. I've heard good reviews for everyone else, especially the mixed seafood platter, which is a great price and plentiful. The only thing I liked about the place is that it didn't absorb much noise, and you had to turn up the volume to be heard.

20/01/2026: Nice place, facing a square where parking is fairly easy. The staff is friendly and the pizzas are very good. I think the seafood dishes are the best, judging from what I saw at other tables. The wait is a bit long, though. Prices are average. Overall, a restaurant/pizzeria worth trying.

04/02/2026: The place was packed; we waited a bit before being seated. The desserts were excellent; the homemade cakes were delicious. We tried the chocolate one and the jam tart. Good selection of teas, although many on the list were unavailable. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a rush. :)

10/02/2026: Rude owner, despite compliments for one of my mother's dishes, twice failed to provide an answer regarding its preparation. After a long wait (the owner was busy chatting with other guests, oblivious to our wait), we asked for the bill and it wasn't provided. The owner came to our table with a card in hand, ready to collect the money, without giving us any details about what we ordered. Worse still, as we left, he slammed the door behind us without even bothering to say hello. Parking was essentially non-existent. We asked to park in the business's private parking lot, but the owner refused, and we were forced to park far away, causing obvious inconvenience to the women in the car with us. The menu was very limited and with few options; even a simple slice of steak or something simple, which is common to most people, was missing. 5 stars for the rooms because I didn't use them.

25/01/2026: A pleasant discovery in the center of Alba. A very well-kept and bright restaurant; we were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. The very unique menu draws inspiration from Piedmontese tradition but is heavily influenced by the Neapolitan-born chef, who offers a wide selection of meat and seafood dishes. We opted for an appetizer and a first course each, and were very impressed with the first courses: the top-quality scialatielli and the chittara with snapper, both truly exquisite. The quality/price ratio is average for a restaurant in the center of Alba. Highly recommended.

04/01/2026: What a fabulous experience. My wife picked this place and it was amazing. The chef came out and shaved white truffles on our additions. Very pleasant to staff was fantastic. The dessert were awesome. I highly recommend going.

09/03/2026: We expected a semi-Michelin experience but were badly disappointed. We both got a Chef Menu but the dishes were boring and without the edge and taste experience you would expect from such a place. The pasta dish was downright inedible, the pasta was not cooked enough. Now I am not Italian, so it is fair if the waiter is not strong in English. But none of our dishes were presented properly and the food was almost thrown on the table. The best thing about the evening was the wine list, which is excellent also for the price. All in all, not the experience we had expected from what is considered one of the city's best restaurants.

11/03/2026: Good coffee, but I find the closing time a bit too early in the evening (March 2026). Speaking of closing, the metal door handle could pinch your fingers between it and the door frame. I had a bad experience with that.

08/03/2026: A truly beautiful bar. Friendly staff. Breakfast fit for a king, with super-stuffed croissants and even unique flavors like bueno.

22/03/2026: A delightful place offering both pizza and food. Very refined atmosphere. All tables have candles (lit, not a showpiece) and menus are available for each place setting. Outdoor seating is also available for the warmer months. I've tried both the pizza and food. Both are top-notch. The menu also includes Hungarian goulash for those who enjoy it (they serve both meat and fish). The hostess is very kind. Excellent value for money. Perhaps the only downside is the bathrooms. They're very clean but old, unisex, Turkish, and have only one seat.

21/03/2026: Excellent pizza, even at lunch. Very fast service despite the busy dining room, and very friendly staff.

01/03/2026: A small place, tucked away in the center of Rossana. Very good pizza, thin crust and generous toppings. There are only a few seats, so it's best to call ahead. Many people told me the wait was long, but in reality, we were seated and paid in less than an hour. For two, we ordered two pizzas, a Coke, a water, a quart of wine, two desserts, and two coffees, and we paid less than €20 each. Fair prices and excellent value.

22/02/2026: Livorno-style mussels are amazing! Spectacular! I caught my brother eating too fast, and I just tried them.

21/12/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, after just leaving the restaurant, I felt compelled...the dough and pizza were truly excellent, and the Orange Honey and Pecorino Semifreddo was, well, rare and sublime! I'll definitely add it to my favorites list and be back to try it again!

11/11/2025: A lovely, cozy little place I discovered by chance, but I already know it'll become a regular! In addition to pizza and traditional Piedmontese cuisine, this restaurant offers some Sardinian specialties like culurgiones, which I found exceptional. I also enjoyed excellent cured meats and cheeses, and a delicious Cannonau. 🍷 The place is beautifully decorated and the owners are very kind. Fast service and unbeatable value. See you soon!
