05/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questa trattoria di fronte al castello in una giornata di caldo intenso ma per fortuna una bava di vento ci ha allietato il pranzo sulla veranda.
Tutto estremamente buono e soprattutto che porzioni…..abbondanti!
Bravi, siamo stati bene e se potremo torneremo sicuramente magari per una bella cena.

Excellently prepared and abundant dishes.
I recommend the fish-based menu, exquisite, excellent with a very good quality-price ratio. Absolutely recommended especially for event dinners or lunches, but also to spend a dinner or lunch with friends.

The classics are mastered to perfection, and the less traditional dishes are surprising. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the wait time was reasonable. In the heart of the Trastevere district, a quieter area than the historic center.

13/07/2025: The place is certainly beautiful, but the food... The quantities are absurd for the price and on top of that the dishes lack flavor. I am not gonna talk about the French fries, which are the size of cotton buds. The waiter was also a bit too present around our table. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant

12/06/2025: Excellent welcome and excellent food. The restaurant is located near St. Peter's Basilica, a little away from the touristy areas. It was nice to have some peace and quiet between two visits. A highly recommended restaurant!

02/07/2025: Bruschetta with tomato (gifted) and eggplant (2€) nice but a bit dry, nothing special. Fried cod too salty, seems like frozen pecce. Friendly waitress. Water from their machine costs 3€ (in my opinion it's excessive). Good carbonara.

07/07/2025: The pasta is way too al dente for me. Beside that, i enjoyed all the food i ordered. The prosciutto with honeydew is interesting!! First, i was not sure but then i like it. Now i am craving for it. The Prosciutto from here is melting in your mouth very good! Our waiter is friendly. It is an elegant restaurant.
07/07/2025: Dining out should be more than just a meal — it should be an experience built on care, attention, and quality. Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was none of those things.
Let’s begin with the Diavolo 2.0 pizza — a dish that turned out to be shockingly over-seasoned. Not only were the toppings far too salty, but even the pizza dough itself was aggressively seasoned, to the point that it felt like chewing into a scoop of salt. The balance of flavors was completely off, and the saltiness was so intense that we couldn’t eat more than two slices.
The rigatoni bufala didn’t fare much better. Several pieces of pasta were undercooked, retaining a raw, chalky bite. The fried filet of baccalà was equally disappointing — the batter was soggy and almost uncooked, lacking any crispness or golden texture. It felt rushed, as if it had never touched properly hot oil.
However, what truly ruined the evening was the cold, inattentive service. Our assigned waiter — an Asian man with tattoos on his forearm — did not check on us even once during the meal. When he served our pizza, he dropped it on the table without a single word. No greeting, no “enjoy your meal,” no eye contact — just a dish placed down with indifference. His attitude throughout was aloof, almost hostile, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than guests.
It wasn’t until we spoke up to a different staff member about the saltiness of the pizza that this waiter finally returned to our table — still offering no apology, no solution, and no effort to improve the experience.
We also noticed other tables being treated with more care. For example, other guests had their pizzas sliced by the waiter, while we had to specifically ask for ours to be cut. This inconsistency in service only added to the feeling of being completely overlooked.
To finish, the bill was delivered silently, and we waited another 10–15 minutes just to pay, again with no farewell, no acknowledgment of our complaints, and no sign of hospitality.
We paid full price for food that was poorly prepared and a service experience that felt dismissive at best. Not once did anyone apologize or attempt to make things right. For a place that likely prides itself on quality, this was an utter failure in both food and service. We left disappointed, frustrated, and frankly, insulted.

Neat and tidy environment, both inside and outside. There aren't many tables also because they are properly spaced. Excellent fried food (the supplì cacio pepe e gamberi is worth applauding!), very good pizza, height and edge just the right balance between Roman and Neapolitan, perfect dough and cooking. Wide but not exaggerated choice between classic, revisited and "gourmet". Friendly and punctual service. Fair bill. Five stars deserved.
27/06/2025: By now there are no more secrets or things to discover, since the pizzeria at 384 has been a point of reference for Romans for years, but I say for all lovers of good food. The architect of this success is undoubtedly to be attributed to Roberto Ferrone, a talented young pizza chef, and his staff who, without much fanfare, have managed to transform this place into a shop of taste. The place is not very large but it is enough to accommodate customers both inside and outside. The menu includes traditional pizza and fried foods such as the classic suppli, but that's not all, in fact, next to the evergreens, this place offers delicacies depending on the season and the period, in this period for example they have on the menu the fried sandwich with Cetara red tuna, lime mayo and tomato. Let's talk about pizzas, here they use a selection of stone-ground flours, I like to define it as it has been defined, that is, a hybrid between Roman and Neapolitan, pronounced edge and thin center. The oven used is electric. Personally I have been coming here for a few years now and the thing that has always surprised me positively in addition to a long-lived dough capable of combining two traditions and the always balanced and harmonious topping, the rule of 384 and few but well-balanced ingredients. I cannot fail to mention this evening's pizza which in a certain sense embodies the meaning of my words, the thing that I particularly appreciated was the fact that the porchetta was not put in cooking but rather out of the oven and I won't even say the reason why I agree with the pizza chef, the success of a place lies in the fact of maintaining the desire and passion for cooking as if you always had to please a small audience of customers, forgive the term a food shop, these guys have not lost their hunger and desire to assert themselves in a panorama that today is characterized by stereotypes dictated more by a vision of social purposes that will bring visibility, but I believe that even today authenticity is still a precious gift that few possess. Keep it up guys.
