They gave us one little slice of herb bread each which we thought was complimentary like at other Italian restaurants we had dined at but charged us €1.5 each on the bill. It's not about the amount but about the practice, you should know what you're paying for.

10/05/2025: Delicious and cozy! We went as a couple and found this restaurant by chance while we were walking around looking for a place to have dinner... and I'm glad we decided to go in! We were served quickly and the food was great. The pizza was incredible, with one of the best doughs we've ever tasted. I'm just sorry I didn't take a picture of the pizza, but everything was so good that I forgot! Definitely a place to go back to.

15/02/2025: Abbiamo visitato il locale un Venerdi sera, in famiglia. Il locale ha un parcheggio esterno, condiviso con altre strutture: non e' facile che ci siano posti liberi. Noi lo abbiamo trovato occupato e con gia' auto in seconda fila. Il cameriere che ci ha servito e' stato estremamente gentile e premuroso, ma nonostante questo il servizio e' stato lentissimo. Molto buono il "pane" greco. Per quanto riguarda gli altri piatti, luci e ombre... Abbiamo frequentato altri locali di cucina greca e questo non e' stato quello che abbiamo giudicato migliore. La sera in cui siamo andati, si e' esibito un guppo di ballerini greci: molto piacevole vedere un mix di persone delle eta' piu' diverse (da giovani a "senior", uomini e donne) ballare insieme i ritmi tipici e anche meno noti. L' unica nota stonata e' stato il volume della musica: veramente eccessivo e che non permetteva di sentirsi da una parte all' altra el tavolo (seppure noi fossimo un tavolo molto lontano dalle casse). Abbiamo gentilmente chiesto, dopo un certo numero di canzoni, di abbassare almeno un poco il volume, richiesta accolta dal cameriere che ci ha anche provato, ma non accolta dalla organizzatrice del ballo, che alla pausa e' venuta a dirci che non era possibile abbasare il volume poiche' altrimenti i ballerini non avebbero sentito la musica. Una risposta che ci lascia un po' perplessi sull' attenzione ai clienti, che dovrebbe far riflettere il gestore. In generale non credo che torneremo.

28/05/2025: Got roped into this place like all the restaurants around these touristy areas do. The host promised free limoncello if we dined in. That they did which was cool. However the food was just okay compared to other authentic Italian restaurants. The atmosphere was good. BUT, at the end of our meal after we were served our desert, while some in our group were using the restroom we were told our seats were needed. I understand the lunch rush was picking up, but no paying customer should ever be asked to give up their seats. Thus my poor review.

31/05/2025: Today I ate at this restaurant for the first time. I ordered a fettuccine Alfredo which was quite tasty and we were served it with a dip with extra parmesan. The quantity was satisfactory and the dish was quite tasty. We also got a bruschetta with tomato and olive oil, which was the bread they brought as a cover but toasted. In this case it was overcooked, something like a rusk, something that did not allow you to bite into it without it dissolving and the ingredients falling off it. Quite mediocre in taste and even worse in execution. However, the disappointment came from the pinsa that was served to us and I have uploaded the relevant photo, because the dough was completely raw. We went when they were opening and apparently the oven had not yet reached the appropriate temperatures and as a result the dough was not baked as it should have been. The thing is that this mistake could not have been missed by the pizza chef, who probably thought... tourists are a gift, let's not throw it away. The worst thing was that due to the time and day, the shops around were closed and I was forced to eat it. A polite service could have helped the situation but unfortunately the children were rather tired and did not even bother to respond to the thank you we said to them when they came to our table, to leave a plate or to take one. I have never made a negative review for a human error or for such delicious food because it is something that can happen and is respected. But rudeness and serving raw food clearly goes through your hands and for me it is not forgiven. The good thing is that Rome is full of good shops that value and respect themselves and consequently the customer... so arrivederci la grande bellezza!

24/05/2025: Visité este restaurante dos veces en una reciente visita a Roma, que estaba cerca de nuestro hotel, en Via Flavia, no lejos de la estación Termini. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, comida casual, bebidas, o la experiencia italiana completa. Nada fue un problema. Sentado fuera de la gente mirando sobre deliciosa pizza y una botella de rosado a un precio razonable. Puedo recomendar.

09/05/2025: We celebrated our wedding, with an authentic civil ceremony, at the La Foresta Restaurant, and we can say with a heart full of joy that it was a dream come true. The ceremony took place in the lawn, under a large centuries-old oak tree, surrounded by chestnut trees, oaks and uncontaminated nature. The reception of the guests was impeccable: a first welcome cocktail in the greenery awaiting the bride and groom, everything taken care of down to the smallest detail. After the ceremony, the grand outdoor buffet amazed everyone with its variety and quality, even celiac or intolerant guests were able to enjoy every delicacy with dishes reserved for them, with attention to detail. Lunch in the Sala Regina lived up to the best expectations: each dish was a perfect balance between refinement and tradition, thanks to the quality of the raw materials and the love for authentic cuisine. We chose tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (a classic much appreciated by guests), ravioli with Genoese beef, celery extract and drops of parmesan, interlude with a fresh pomegranate drink and for the second course veal in Marsala with ancient mustard, seared cardoncelli and potato chips. The choice of dishes took place at the free Open Day for us future spouses, where we enjoyed not only all the dishes offered at the grand imperial buffet but also the chef's various proposals. Antonella Ferri, the owners together with her brother Gino, was our wedding planner, our silent and present guide: precise, attentive, resolute and always welcoming, empathetic, capable of grasping and accompanying our emotions with a rare sensitivity. A huge thank you to the staff who stood out for their professionalism, hospitality and kindness. All our guests told us they had lived a dream. And we can only confirm that La Foresta is much more than a location: it is a place of the soul, where nature meets excellence and every detail tells a love story. Thank you with all my heart!

28/04/2025: We ordered a mixed seafood grill to share and a salad. The salad was meh. Nothing to shout about and I needed to add balsamic vinegar to pep it up. But the mixed grill and the dessert were excellent. The service was pretty good too.

07/05/2025: This place should be a 5star visited this evening and had a perfect greek salad to share then a fillet steak like I've never experienced anywhere else in my life it arrived in a bowl medium cooked surrounded by pocini mushrooms in about 1cm of jus and was absolutely amazing ,,thankyou 👏 👏👏
