15/03/2025: Tourists - Please read this honest review. I can not recommend this place. We ordered 3 different pastas and we did not enjoy them at all. I think their specialty is in non pasta areas. Their pizzas however were quite good and I can recommend those. Service was very slow but they are kind so I am ok with that.

The raw materials are very fresh and of the highest quality, each dish is prepared with great care and enhances the authentic flavor of the sea. Regardless of the fact that I have always heard good things about it, obviously an exclusive place like this can only have careful and elitist management... it can fit. But the location, regardless of whether or not you are happy with the service (for an impeccable experience), was and remains fabulous. If you are lucky enough to celebrate a wedding, a birthday or a corporate event, here you will find yourself in Valadier's masterpiece which dominates the entire Pincio: it is located at the highest point, where the Romans already built their villas (and in fact an ancient cistern was found underneath) and where nobles and lords built their palaces. What we see today stands where there was a seventeenth-century residence. Built in neoclassical style in the first half of the 19th century, it is part of the overall reorganization of the entire area by the famous urban architect and represents its emblem. The colonnade dominates a breathtaking panorama and the view from the terrace fills your eyes and heart. The interior was recovered about twenty years ago, after various events that led to the prolonged closure of this jewel: today it lives a second (or perhaps third, fourth...) life and has greatly recovered its splendor. Inside, everything has been restored, including many of the decorations, and everything is managed with attention to detail and customers. The veranda terraces are something extremely exclusive and with a crazy view of the city but it is worth just taking a walk around and admiring the exteriors, perfectly recovered and enhanced. 03/01/2025: Unfortunately I cannot give an excellent rating as I was disappointed with the service and organization during the New Year's Eve celebration. I've been very keen to celebrate the Cape Dam at your restaurant for some time now but the fact that the staff wouldn't let us enter the terrace at midnight to see a beautiful view of Rome just because we had silver bracelets (it would be a 200 euro dinner per person) but not gold (250-300) is the most unpleasant discrimination I have ever encountered in my life. If for you those who pay 200 euros for a couple of plates and a chair in a closed room have no value and he must be treated in a hypocritical and overbearing manner then I throw my hands up. Anyway I will never go back there again.

The waiter doesn’t even bring menus to the table, and you have to go inside to pay—yet a service charge is added for each person. There isn’t even a toilet seat in the restroom. There are better places in Rome.

23/03/2025: Roman cuisine restaurant but not only. 🍽️ Simple, sober location, perhaps a little dark. Really tight spaces, but fast and friendly staff 🍝 Traditional Roman dishes, not too authentic but tasty. The cod on broccoli is recommended. 💰 Fairly high prices but the neighborhood must be considered. First courses around €13/18 while second courses a little more.

16/02/2025: Decisamente uno dei migliori ristoranti in cui abbia mai mangiato, infatti ci torno spesso. Non metto 5 stelle perché l’ultima volta che ci siamo stati abbiamo ‘osato’ chiedere le alici fritte (spettacolari) senza il pecorino a cui erano abbinate nel menu, e gli spaghetti con le vongole (superlativi) senza la verza, e la proprietaria ci ha simpaticamente risposto che forse era il caso ‘di cambiare ristorante’ (parole testuali) rovinandoci un po’ l’atmosfera della serata. (Abbiamo fatto una cosa così grave ? 😅). I ragazzi dello staff invece eccellenti da ogni punto di vista.
