The creaminess of the cheese pairs beautifully with the bold pepper and the enveloping aroma of the truffle, creating a first course with a noble and unforgettable character. Tonnarelli alla Carbonara with Asparagus: A masterful reinterpretation of a great classic. The richness and perfect execution of the carbonara find a new freshness thanks to the crunchy and delicate note of the asparagus. A surprising and successful combination. In short, Trattoria del Castello offers not only good food, but also an excellent sensory experience where the extraordinary quality of the raw materials meets a passion for hospitality. Comfortable place, polite and friendly staff, and a friendly owner. In short, the staff is well-matched with the kitchen. We had eggplant and zucchini flower meatballs with battered anchovies, which were truly well-made. The first courses were superb, especially the pici carbonara with black truffle (excellent), and the pappardelle with wild boar ragù and the tonnarelli with bacon and asparagus were equally delicious. The sirloin melted in your mouth (and my wife, who doesn't like meat, can attest to this). Excellent lamb and very good desserts. I would recommend listening to the staff's suggestions for desserts 😉. The price is right for a different day. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended. P.S.: Don't pay attention to the urns coming from the kitchen (the general who manages and syncs is there, and I extend my compliments to him).

A dinner with a medieval atmosphere, surprising flavors, especially the ravioli with cacio pepe and coda alla vaccinara, a poem, a revelation, the bao with roasted octopus and chicory... Recommended

Excellent quality fish, nice place and super friendly staff!

First meal in Italy, very good overall. wild boar in one of our pastas was a bit tough, but flavors were on point. Dessert was great, mascarpone creme with berries in an almost almond brittle tart shell, probably our favourite dessert on our trip.

Our visit to Bracciano was rounded out with a stop at Trattoria del Castello, where we ate deliciously outdoors, served by professional and friendly waiters. After an appetizer of fried small lake fish, we enjoyed a delicious tartare with pecorino cheese and truffle. The baked lamb with potatoes, eggplant meatballs, and zucchini flowers, accompanied by broccoli, were also delicious. The desserts were memorable: the cherry jam cake and the cup of almond brittle, mascarpone cream, and chocolate. A highly recommended place!
