The setting and atmosphere are unique....the food is excellent, and the staff are extremely attentive and courteous, making you feel at ease. If you come to Bracciano, you absolutely must stop at this restaurant; you'll have a wonderful time.

Right below the castle of this village is this splendid, informal restaurant with a menu of meat and seafood. Reservations are recommended, regardless of what's on the menu. Friendly staff and outdoor seating. For dessert, I recommend the "basket." Prices are reasonable for the food served.

A truly special experience, the kindness and speed of service, but above all, the quality dishes were plentiful and particularly appreciated. We had a pleasant lunch, and the fish was excellent!

"Live review from 'Trattoria del Castello' in Bracciano. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are very friendly at first glance, and this continues. Starting with the perfect entrée, the first course requested was perfectly cooked and presented. While waiting for the second course, I couldn't help but give it 5 stars already. Well done, highly recommend!" ☺️

I booked this restaurant based on the many positive reviews I'd read, and I must say they were completely confirmed. The place is very charming, the staff are friendly and attentive, but above all, the food is fantastic. Most of us had the carbonara with truffle, and I must say it left us speechless. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money, and the location is perfect, as Bracciano Castle is just a two-minute walk away. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A satisfying experience where everything finds its perfect order in an explosion of flavors, colors, and appreciated kindness, framed by the beautiful castle square. Describing it all is difficult; tasting it is easier.

01/05/2026: We went on May 1st. Even though the place was full, they seated us around 2 pm. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Excellent food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended, especially for the view from outside.

17/04/2026: A wonderful place with lovely service, delicious food and warm atmosphere. A hidden treasure- what a shame it is not in our neighbourhood in Germany. It would be our favourite place to go to!
16/04/2026: This place is absolute perfection! Everything - from the welcome and service to the atmosphere and the incredible dishes - is outstanding! I had the best truffle carbonara of my life, and believe me, I’ve had it in many places, but this one is on a whole different level, even compared to my favorite spots! I’m so happy to have discovered this wonderful place and the amazing people who work there - they’ll help you choose the perfect wine for your dish and more. I’ll be delighted to come back here the next time I visit Rome. Thank you, highly recommended, and see you again!
