03/05/2026: I'm back here after years... many, many years.
My last memory was of me as a child and a pizza with my family, at a place my dad used to go to as a college student.
Don't ask me why, but last night, along with my kids and friends, I booked a table here...Est Est Est.
A step back in time but in a restaurant/pizzeria projected into the future.
A simple, straightforward, tasty, concrete, and satisfying experience in every way.
The staff were always smiling and helpful, friendly, and never inappropriate.
It was really needed in the heart of Rome!

31/05/2026: We ate at a restaurant by the Pantheon and we were pickpocketed and a transaction for over $5,000 was done at this restaurant. Someone from this restaurant came into the restaurant we were in and pickpocketed the wallet. Be careful! They are in cahoots with the restaurant as well because everyone acted very suspicious at the Hostaria Pantheon restaurant we were sitting at across from the Pantheon when we came back to find the wallet. They were looking under the table we sat at and all around when we didn't even tell them what we were looking for.
14/05/2026: The place is modestly decorated, but the food is excellent and the waiter's service is spectacular. Highly recommended; the quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable. I'd go back every day.

08/06/2026: A good place for dinner: I chose the artichokes side ( still in season and rare in Europe!) and a salad with bruschetta, delicious. The main was saltimbocca alla romana,quite good but the sauce was bland.
Basic Italian wines by the glass.
Friendly staff and efficient. Buzzy atmosphere, I would recommend this place.

08/12/2025: We expected better after reading the reviews. The tomato and mozzarella salad was bland, with cardboard-like lettuce, and the €12 starter was completely overpriced. The main courses were okay, but nothing special; not really the Italian vibe we were looking for. One positive point was the complimentary limoncello at the end.
08/12/2025: The atmosphere was super pleasant and the food was very good. The lasagna I ordered was excellent; they brought bread, and the rosé wine we ordered was very tasty.
The limoncello wasn't too sweet and was very good, but the surprising one was the melon limoncello, which was like a meloncello, very delicious. It tasted like a drink we consume in Brazil, but tastier.
I highly recommend it for couples, or even for someone alone; the food was great.

This was my second time in Rome and I was dreaming of eating pizza at this restaurant again. It was the most delicious pizza I've ever had. They also suggested trying the seafood risotto, and that was also delicious. I'm going to try the steak today. I highly recommend it.

04/05/2026: Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. This is the answer to the question, "What is an Italian restaurant?" It's more of a casual, laid-back place.
I tried the Tonnarello ai funghi porcini and it was delicious. I also had the opportunity to drink a glass of their local wine; I'm not sure if the acidity increased as I drank it or as it sat :)
It was a pleasant evening.
