18/08/2025: Delicious food at a good price. The service was mediocre, there were no starters, and they didn't offer us dessert, so we left. The terrace is scorching hot at midday.

It's so nice to find a place like Taverna Angelica in Rome, offering a unique gastronomic experience with carefully curated dishes, local produce, and excellent service. The wine list is extensive, and it's a great idea to offer both a à la carte menu and a tasting menu. We had the 5-course dinner, but it's even more extensive with starters and dessert; it's definitely worth it. The waiter speaks several languages and explained each dish in detail. He was very friendly and courteous. The place was very quiet, perfect for a romantic dinner.

31/07/2025: I ate here with my girlfriend and I had a terrible experience. First of all, the place is nice, but nothing more. It's classic 80s dishes with average ingredients, but they charge for the first course. We asked the owner for recommendations, and he offered us two first courses and a raw fish appetizer. They were good, but nothing special. The problem was when the bill arrived! For two, we spent €200 with a wine. I should point out that a first course costs €30, and the area where the restaurant is located is inconvenient for parking. Go here if you want to eat fish from the subway at very high prices. If you want quality ingredients, I prefer to go to Micalusi, for example, or to La Marina in Fiumicino, where you spend less and definitely get better fish.

14/08/2025: I'm returning to this place after a few years, and what can I say? The WhatsApp messaging service that reminds you of your reservation (booked 2 hours in advance) and welcomes you when you arrive is useless... I would have appreciated a greeting from the owner, who practically dispenses orders to his servers and, sitting comfortably throughout the dinner, only bothered to pay the bill. The appetizer was prosciutto as thin as bread, cut into tiny slices. Then paying €27 for a tagliata (which was served whole and was a small steak weighing about 250-300g without any side dishes) is truly outrageous. Goodbye

08/09/2025: A few nights ago, 15 of us stopped by. We had a coffee at the counter. 2 people asked to go to the bathroom. The owner, I think, was a blonde lady, a bit grumpy, and she also told us that we could only use the bathroom after we had finished our drinks. We said we had done so. The lady, with an arrogant air, said the exact words. I don't remember, but it's ok. I think she wrote to us. Anyway, I had to give it a star just to comment. We definitely won't go there again.
07/09/2025: Stopped here for a late lunch in Lido. We got a couple of pastas which we really enjoyed. The covered terrace has a nice view of the piazza and ocean.
