21/03/2026: Honestly the best pizza we’ve ever had (and we’ve had quite a few). Perfect in every aspect, tasty and delicious and amazing crust. Quite cheap as well! Also the restaurant has such a warm atmosphere and being welcomed there by the staff feels like being with family: very warm and inviting. Already came back a few times and it’s a favourite! A lovely experience.

20/02/2026: We were due to go after the rugby however due to unfortunate circumstances we could not go. Our friends back home had paid some money for drinks and on explaining our predicament they refunded it straight away. Their understanding and customer service was superb Update Feb 2026- We made it back to watch the rugby again and decided we must actually go. The restaurant is lovely - very different from many of the typical trattatoria or osteria. The food was very tasty and a bit less traditional, although the portions were small. And the mains came out immediately after the starters were cleared which is not our preference but to be fair we didn't ask for a longer break. The unusual cocktails were all good but did take some time to come. And we never did get that bottle of wine we asked for! But we did get complementary limoncello that was higher quality than in other places. I would recommend it you are looking for somewhere a bit different - don't at all regret having gone.

05/03/2026: Two meals in two evenings. Everything was delicious: lasagna, ragù, escalopes, steak, etc. Classic Italian dishes, no need to look any further. The staff were wonderful with our children, very attentive. Thank you for these wonderful moments! 🤌

It's just that... despite it being well-deserved, I've never left a review, a review that must be five stars, and why shouldn't it? Given that the location is superbly nestled in the historic heart of Rome, maintained with love and professionalism, I fondly remember the mountains of flowers that were there during the spring and summer months. Shall we move on to the place? Beautiful, welcoming, clean, simply set, yet elegantly furnished, and why not talk about the staff? They too, without exception, were welcoming, clean, courteous, attentive, and everything beautiful you can think of. All that remains is the food. Do I even need to tell you how it tastes? I don't think so... I simply invite you to try it. I forgot, congratulations on the recently added covered outdoor area. Thank you.

02/03/2026: We celebrated my daughter's eighteenth birthday. The venue was stunning, overlooking the lake, making it all so romantic. The staff was welcoming and extremely professional, accommodating our every request. A special mention goes to Diego, the dedicated owner, full of ideas and always ready to help. His immediate empathy made everyone feel right at home. If you're looking for an elegant and welcoming venue, Chalet del Lago won't disappoint.

18/12/2025: I've been to this place, it was delicious! I was greeted by a bald guy who was truly welcoming and kind. He showed me to my table, showed me the menu, and recommended a few dishes, which I ultimately chose. I can say I made a wonderful discovery about the food, and best of all, he paired it with a bottle of wine that perfectly complemented all the dishes my partner and I ordered! I recommend this place to anyone who finds themselves in the center of Rome!

Very friendly and attentive service; the owner speaks several languages ​​(Italian, German, English, French) fluently. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the excellent food; I will definitely return on my next visit to Tivoli!

The price was absolutely fair, and the menu is especially extensive for vegans and those with lactose intolerances. It's one of those places that you simply can't help but bookmark, and will return to the city.

11/02/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An incredible discovery in Rome Yesterday, after leaving the Vatican, we found this Venezuelan restaurant thanks to Google. Normally in Rome, you think of eating Italian food, but the great reviews encouraged us to try it… and it was an amazing find! The owners, a father and son, were absolutely delightful, friendly, and attentive at all times. And the food was simply delicious, made with love and full of flavor. We would definitely go back, and we think everyone should stop by and try this wonderful cuisine. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May & Javi
