27/10/2025: Our last night…and could not have chosen a more perfect place – probably our overall best dining experience! Arrived before sunset (reservations a must, due to a cozy, intimate dining area) and immediately welcomed by the vivacious Alessia. Along with her aunt and another young lady, they treated us with such hospitality and service that we perhaps spent more time in conversation with them then among ourselves. To listen to their stories of their history and that of the restaurant, dating back some 80-years, made us feel we were having dinner in their home. Add the fact that the atmosphere is set on an elevated covered terrace, with direct views of Amalfi…as the sun set and the lights of Amalfi began to come on, no words can fully describe!!! Group of 8 adults, so we had a chance to try a variety of menu items…the grilled fish, Pasta al Limone (outstanding and so unique to Amalfi), smoked Scamorza cheese in lemon leaves and my favorite, the Tris di Marinati - marinated tuna, swordfish & anchovies. EVERYTHING we had was among the best we had among all the other restaurants during our visit! The perfect ending to our meal…as we came off the elevator to the street below, we were personally greeted by Nicola, the grandfather who began it all!

18/02/2026: A trattoria of yesteryear. Excellent and plentiful food, always attentive and friendly staff, and the owner always present among the tables and ready to offer advice. Excellent value for money.

24/02/2026: I was there alone on a Monday evening, and the place was still packed, which says a lot. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and very authentic; you immediately feel at ease. The food was incredibly good; I honestly can't find the words to describe how delicious everything was. At the same time, the prices are absolutely fair and not exorbitant. If you're in Bergamo or the surrounding area, you should definitely stop by. For me, it's an absolute must-visit and a real highlight.

28/02/2026: A fabulous experience worth repeating. We happened upon it by chance. We were welcomed with affection and extreme kindness by three ladies (one was the cook, Mary). We ordered 1 penne alla boscaiola, 1 tortello alla Mary, and 2 pork loins (soft as butter) accompanied by roast potatoes and beans all'uccelletto. To finish, a sampling of homemade cakes (chestnut and rum, pear, cinnamon and clove, orange, carrot). A half-liter bottle of house wine. LARGE PORTIONS. EVERYTHING FABULOUS. THE TOTAL COST WAS 77 euros. We will definitely be back. PS: The three ladies also run an adjoining B&B, Borgo Antica Pieve.

13/10/2025: We come here every year and have never been disappointed! The food is excellent, the service attentive, friendly, and competent... The chef and his wife are very accommodating. The fireplace is the highlight of the dining room, and many dishes are prepared here. We're already looking forward to next year. Until then, all the best and arrivederci Hannelore & Helmut

02/03/2026: Couple's trip with a 7-year-old child. Superb stay! We stayed one night at the hotel... Clean and spacious rooms, with a hot tub and sensory shower in the room! We also booked the exclusive use of the spa for couples, a truly wonderful experience. The owner was super helpful and kind, accommodating our every need before we even told him. The seafood lunch was superb: delicious, fresh, and generous. The homemade tiramisu is a must-try. We'll definitely be back.

01/11/2025: I highly recommend visiting Trattoria del Porto. The welcome is exquisite, as are the traditional dishes served with love. The service is highly trained, friendly, and very polite (even considering we arrived a little late). The cuisine is excellent, and the set menu allows you to try everything, with appropriate portions for each course. A fantastic experience for my fiancée and I.

15/01/2026: We had an absolutely outstanding dinner at Borgo San Jacopo for my husband’s birthday back in October. The restaurant itself is both cozy and beautiful and the service was attentive without feeling like someone was hovering over you all evening. We were given the option of ordering a la carte or a choice of 3 tasting menus with the caveat that if you choose a tasting menu the whole table must choose the same one. We went with a tasting menu and really loved the number of courses that it allowed us to sample. Favorite dishes were the ricotta snack, risotto with meatballs, the lamb loin and the salted caramel peanut bonbon at the end. The mushroom ice cream that was served with the crudités was very interesting and we also loved the house made olive oil. They really made my husband’s birthday feel special and it was one of our best meals in Italy.

05/01/2026: Having ended up there after being bounced from another restaurant, we were welcomed and taken on an exciting tasting menu. The quality of the ingredients combined with the chef's skill produce dishes that are unpredictable and delicious in every way. The service was impeccable, with a professionalism rarely found, even at other Michelin-starred restaurants. A huge round of applause and thanks to Domiziana, Lorenzo, and Salvatore.

01/03/2026: The dining room—and what can I say? I discovered it a few years ago and fell in love with it. Special Tuscan dishes and refined cuisine, perfectly executed down to the last detail, and the waiter's explanation of the ingredients' provenance was delightful. In my opinion, their signature dish is the fillet steak with Brunello di Montalcino, simply delicious. The only downside is the cleanliness; there's dust on the shelves that triggered allergic rhinitis. I highly recommend paying more attention to cleanliness to truly enjoy the best.

12/02/2026: A very quaint, traditional Tuscan restaurant with delicious dishes. The gnudi are simply delicious, with fresh spinach and a fabulous sauce. We'll definitely be back to try other delicacies.

03/03/2026: I give 5 stars for everything. Let me start by saying that I'm absolutely thrilled by the places that have shaped and continue to shape our culinary history. Homemade food with authentic flavors, friendly, welcoming service, as if you were eating at my uncle's in Pisa. The atmosphere is small and intimate, where you can chat even with the next table. It was a real pleasure eating, and I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Stelio himself, 91 years old! Top! After eating and drinking, I recommend the house tiramisu and the Ponce! Excellent digestif!
