14/08/2024: Ciao Riccardo! I was with you for lunch on Friday, July 9, 2024. I'm writing this review for two reasons: 1) the food was 1/3 fantastic, 1/3 very good, 1/3 not good, or very room for improvement. If you would like more detailed information about my review - please contact me. 2) the main reason for my review is YOU! I drove 650km by car that day to eat at your place. I was at your place at 11:45 a.m., the gate to the parking lot was open, I parked and waited until it was 12:30 p.m. At 12:00 a man came (as it turned out later: YOU!!) and said several times: “I have to clean here, this my job, please go”!!!!!!! I didn't want to argue with the naughty gardener... YOU have me and my wife: - as a booked guest who just waited quietly KICKED OUT!! - stupidly lied - and the lowest level of hospitality undercut. That would be: A guest Waiting quietly in the midday sun, a place and offer a glass of water! You are a decorated chef and I respect you for that. When it comes to manners and hospitality, you should definitely learn a few things. 03/08/2024: Unexpectedly amazing. Saw all the strong reviews and it was completely deserved. Wine was really nice and smooth. I had the beef Tataki and it was so juicy and flavorful and the vegetables fried to a perfect crunch! We also had Parmeggiana Melanzane and it was fabulous. Ambience was lovely with perfect volume of music and they had the cutest golden retriever dog that was so sweet and calm and made me melt inside and want to cry almost😭 Would definitely recommend as a great experience for every person that comes to Rome. Super vibe!

07/08/2024: Do you like screaming children and screaming mothers, the view of hung up swimsuits and hanging curtains, being served cold food and then having it heated up in the microwave? Service very slow, and if you ask for an explanation as to why something is happening, you walk to another table. In short, this restaurant is a disgrace to the gastronomy that should be worthy of Michelin. We eat in many Michelin restaurants, but here they really have to give up the star. Quality and affinity worthy of Mac Donalds with their entire entourage. You get an amuse-bouche from the house that we are used to. Here the appetizer was forced on you, served, etc. And on the receipt I saw that costs had simply been charged. I find that quite rude. It's really not about the money for me, but I know the rules within gastronomy and that is certainly not how they work. I wrote the truth in nice language via TripAdvisor but they don't want to post it. I get the idea that they collaborate with I-fame and that only positive comments can be posted. My goal is to just give new guests an idea and don't expect much from it! And especially because they are recommended with a Michelin star.

20/08/2024: Il San Pietro di Positano is my home away from home where I am treated like family. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel from the friendly staff to the ammenities and the beautiful views. I recommend this hotel to everyone. A must stay if you ever decide to visit Positano!

07/08/2024: Three days and three fantastic evenings which allowed us to tour all of Chianti from a very central position. Excellent service, kindness and helpfulness of the staff. They organized 3 dinners for us in 3 different areas of the structure with 3 different menus for our evenings. Well done and thanks

20/07/2024: Very good meat! Exceptional pici cacio e pepe. Friendly and smiling staff, cleanliness rated 10 If we return to these parts again, we will come again!!! a safe place where you can eat in peace, you feel at home.

23/06/2024: A friendly address which had the good taste of still being open at 1:30 p.m. We took the lunch menu which is very affordable (12-13€) and which covers two dishes, cover and water. I had nduja pasta as a first course, which was not exceptional. Cooked al dente but a little dry texture, not much sauce and not much nduja. Damage. On the other hand, it was very spicy and quite good. For the main course I had a piece of roast pork which was very good, accompanied by peas (frozen, but it was specified) with garlic. The whole thing was good. The quantities aren't huge but it gets the job done. The atmosphere is quite nice, you have the impression of being in a rather traditional neighborhood restaurant, not too touristy. The service was not exceptional; we waited a very long time before the menu was brought to us (because the menu of the day was already at another table) without being told anything to make us wait. I think the problem was the language barrier so I don't hold it too hard for the final grade. In summary ? Decent food, decent prices. It's not exceptional but it makes the coffee for an "everyday" meal.
