03/05/2026: A truly pleasant inn in every way. The staff is extremely kind and immediately puts you at ease, with a level of customer service that is evident in every detail. The property is very well-maintained and the setting is wonderful, although its proximity to the road doesn't detract from the experience. The rooms are simple but well-furnished and comfortable. The on-site shop is also very interesting, well-stocked and beautifully presented. We also ate divinely, with special attention given to our two children, who helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Recommended, also for the convenience of available parking.

04/06/2026: We came to Barga for lunch from Lucca, and this restaurant was worth the trip. Incredible quality, the pastas were amazing, and the baked chocolate desert was incredible. The kindness and warm welcome was very much appreciated, and the small terrace in back was lovely. Would love to go back again someday.

Truly exceptional dishes, carefully prepared, tasty, and—not to be taken for granted—extremely light. Finally, a place where you leave satisfied, but without that heavy or bloated feeling that often ruins everything. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and it shows. A special thanks to Carlo: impeccable. He recommended the perfect wine with rare expertise and kindness, making us feel looked after but never invasive. He's someone who truly knows how to do his job, with passion. Pleasant setting, relaxed atmosphere, and customer service that makes all the difference. We were delighted, truly. A place that deserves an A+, without a second thought.

05/05/2026: We were at the hotel La Terrazze. In my opinion, this is the best ristorante around the area unless you go further for a ristorante like Al Pesce D’oro. The prices were fair for food and drinks. The foods were excellent. We didn’t order much because we weren’t that hungry and my wife wasn’t feeling well. Clams were fresh and the pizza was excellent. They gave us some limoncello shots as a thank you. I gave some tips. Oh, the tiramisu was excellent. I mean, if Asians says this ristorante is good, what are you waiting for ? We are hard pleasers when t comes to cuisine :)

09/05/2026: We ate here twice on our stay. Very authentically Sicilian family run restaurant. The meals were delicious, the service exemplary and much care was taken for the food. They also have a great wine list. Book early. The home made pistachio tiramasu and lemon tart were fabulous.

24/05/2026: The food was very well prepared; we ordered pasta, which was cooked to perfection, and octopus with a special sauce—everything was exquisite. Small portions and quite expensive prices. The place is lovely, with a small terrace on the second floor. Food is served on the first floor, and they are very accommodating for people with mobility issues. There is a wine cellar on the ground floor. The waitress was friendly and courteous, and we didn't have to wait long for our food, although the restaurant was practically empty, which is unusual for the area and for it being a Sunday.

The highlight is the beautiful small roof terrace, a secluded spot with a glass‑sectioned floor that gives the space a unique charm and a sense of lightness above the old town. The service was impeccable — attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely proud of the food they serve. This echoes what so many reviewers mention: a team that elevates the experience through professionalism and warmth. The food itself was exceptional, with the same precision and creativity that diners consistently praise online. We had Essence of the Sea (Lightly smoked roasted octopus, cream potatoes, sea essence, crunchy celery, black olives, sesame and juniper shade), a beautifully balanced dish - tender octopus with subtle smokiness, lifted by the freshness of celery and the depth of the juniper; and Juniper Shade (Beef fillet, caramelised red onion, salad with mustard dressing, juniper marrow jus). Perfectly cooked, rich and aromatic, with the juniper marrow jus adding a luxurious depth. Across both courses, the flavours were clean, confident, and thoughtfully composed - exactly the kind of cooking that earns Al Tuguri its reputation as one of Alghero’s standout dining destinations.

03/06/2026: Very good food, very friendly staff. The lake view is very pleasant. They also have a small parking lot, which is a great convenience given the restaurant's location.

23/05/2026: We went to La Breva on very short notice on a Thursday evening, as our landlady recommended it. We got a lovely table with a view of the lake and the pretty garden. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was simply superb. We'd love to come back.
