28/02/2026: A beautiful family owned restaurant nestled in the charming village. We had the house red (fantasticc!) and pasta. Pici with tomato sauce, tagliatelle with Tuscan ragu and the pasta with the duck sauce were all incredible. We’ll be coming back again for another meal hopefully many more

07/01/2026: A gem in the historic center of town. When you enter, you feel right at home. The decor perfectly matches the local style. The atmosphere is warm and the staff are extremely friendly. There were four of us for lunch. We shared two Tuscan appetizers, and then each had a main course with a side dish. Everything was simple and delicious. For my main course, I opted for the wild boar stew, which was truly exquisite and, above all, incredibly tender. For wine, I chose a local Chianti Classico. You have to be careful with the wine list, as not all the wines on the list were actually available, and some of those were from different vintages than those listed. However, I still give the service 5 stars because the waiter handled the situation admirably. Excellent value for money. I recommend it and hope to return soon.

The food is exquisite, from the starters to the first and second courses, all good, the prices are fantastic. I have been to restaurants but there is no one like this one that is truly top-notch. 13/01/2026: I came here for the breakfast part of my bed and breakfast. Atmosphere here on this cloudy morning through their skylight is top notch. The morning buffet was excellent, everything tasted amazing. The barista, Mika, making the drinks was very kind and happy. The ambient music was all perfect.

09/02/2026: This is the first time I've stopped here after a hard day at work! The food is delicious, the service is welcoming, kind, and helpful... the background music is pleasant! 24/01/2026: Four of us arrived for lunch without a reservation. The service was impeccable, the food was excellent and gourmet, with a great selection of fish and appetizers. It's also great for a quick lunch. Good value for money.

15/02/2026: But why stop at 5 stars? I'd give it 10! The four of us ate a plate of calamari and fruit, a potato chip, two horse meatballs, a slaw, a pistachio roll, a pasta alla norma and a pasta with swordfish and water, a 66 cl beer, and a liter of coke. The price was absolutely fair, and the portions were generous. But above all, the quality was excellent. Definitely worth a try. One of the best restaurants in Catania. Delicious.

06/02/2026: The soul of Catania on a plate! A wealth of flavors, excellent service, and a wonderful family atmosphere in a restaurant full of Italians. Many locals, which demonstrates the authenticity of this cuisine. Delicious food at a reasonable price. I regret discovering this restaurant only two days before my trip, because I would have eaten there every day.

20/12/2025: It's not the first time I've dined here, and it won't be the last! Today I also had the appetizer samples, which were amazing, and all four were different from the last time I was here a month ago! This surprised me because it means they update and vary the menu very often so as not to tire the customers. At the same time, however, there are some dishes that have become a regular, like the gnocchi with Robiola di Roccaverano cheese, which are always fantastic! The portions are generous, as you can see from the photos, but there's no risk of having any left over! Francesca and Valentina are two excellent hosts, always smiling and kind. If you want to enjoy lunch or dinner in an excellent restaurant, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this is the place for you.

25/01/2026: Delicious and very good. There was a problem with one dish, through no fault of their own, but it was handled with elegance. It's a shame some of the diners decided to smoke in a place that's closed in 2026, but this is Italy, and mental health issues are a source of pride.

19/01/2026: Very good, high-quality dishes, beautifully plated and seasonal. I didn't like the fact that the dishes tended to replicate traditional dishes and flavors in a vegan way. Excellent drinks with many organic options. Excellent, welcoming and friendly service. A meat restaurant decorated in a naturalistic vegan style. Unfortunately, the space on the first floor is a bit cramped, accessed by narrow stairs. I didn't like the exposed warehouse. However, if you want to eat vegan in Livorno, I recommend it.

24/12/2025: Passing through Fiumicino, we stopped here for dinner. The courtesy is undeniable. Excellent service, a very charming and well-kept atmosphere. We tried the fried artichokes, Jewish-style, cacio e pepe, carbonara, and a tagliata. What can I say? Everything was truly excellent. I would definitely return.

10/02/2026: The food is excellent, and the staff is truly helpful, despite being extremely busy, given the crowds. The veranda is very bright, but the interior, where we had lunch, is a bit dark. The atmosphere has a slightly retro feel, full of dated or antique items, but it's pleasant and appropriate. The menu offers a wide selection, including typical local dishes, some of which are truly hard to find locally. Highly recommended!

08/02/2026: My experience at this restaurant was decidedly disappointing. The portions were extremely small, leaving you feeling like you hadn't really eaten. Add to this the exorbitant prices. A truly poor value for money. I definitely won't be returning...

10/11/2025: ⭐ Freshness and flavor guaranteed! We had a wonderful time and, above all, a delicious meal! The ingredients are fresh and excellent, from the pizza dough to the side dishes. It's home-style cooking with generous portions. If you're looking for a quality restaurant in Monéglia, this is it.

28/02/2026: For me, one of the three best restaurants in all of Irpinia. Aside from the excellent menu (the pomegranate with pork capocollo is brilliant, and the arancini are top-notch), "La Pignata" has what many restaurants in this region lack. They want to be a bit more sophisticated (I'm obviously not talking about traditional, popular osterias), but they don't know how to make a living (they don't understand the rules of restaurant culture). Here, however, it's there: kindness when making a reservation, impeccable service, with discreet courtesy and a sommelier in the dining room (many in Italy and around the world know Irpinia only for its wines, and it would be wise to ensure they find a respectable sommelier when they enter a restaurant), and the entire "liturgy" that introduces and concludes the menu, from the chef's welcome to the pre-dessert to the small pastries. Plus, it offers a quality/price ratio that's hard to find in more renowned tourist destinations. Moreover, the restaurant is right below the Norman castle and the municipal villa. Worth a trip or a detour.
