29/03/2025: We just finished a fabulous experience at La Grotta. March is definitely slow season here but we have never been more welcomed or felt more "tended to" than our dinner at La Grotta. The dinner started with a nice pour of complimentary Prosecco and a small bite, followed of course by locally made bread and olive oil. My wife and I shared the stuffed artichoke and then the guinea fowl-filled ravioli to start the meal. For secondi, I had the lamb and my wife had the duck. All dishes were exemplary! I disagree with reviewers who comment that portion sizes are too small. True, they are not large, but all were beautifully presented and just right for our tastes. We will return on our next visit to Montepulciano!

28/02/2025: Che dire, esperienza molto positiva. Abbiamo optato per il menù da 8 portate e una bottiglia di bollicine rosè, nulla di tutto ciò non ha superato le nostre aspettative. Tutto superlativo, dagli antipasti al dolce finale (e io non amo i dolci in generale). Location molto accogliente, personale gentile,simpatico e preparato, bagno pulito e confortevole, chiacchierata con lo chef alla fine in modo confidenziale che corona la cena donando al tutto una nota decisamente positiva. Ha superato di gran lunga ciò che mi aspettavo e sono sicuro che ci tornerò. Complimenti.

Dall' accoglienza, al locale, alle materie prime tutto merita assolutamente di essere provato. Consigliatissima la degustazione di antipasti e molto buoni i primi. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

26/02/2025: I have known this restaurant for years and it is always a pleasure to return and taste the typical Apulian dishes of the Murgia. The starters are many and typical, the first courses are an explosion of traditional flavours. I recommend trying this place and remember to book before it is always full. Until next time.

13/02/2025: Take it from a native: this restaurant is the steelman argument for traditional Pugliese food and flavours (except for seafood, which is the only thing they don't do). Anything they serve is top quality and spectacularly good. Antipasti are recommended and will guide you through almost everything there is to know about the local flavours. Try as many first courses you can manage. Technically, there is no menu: they will tell you what's available on the day. Make sure you visit both in the summer and the winter, their menu follows seasonal foods. And it's also cheap!

08/02/2025: Ho avuto l'opportunità di cenare in questo ristorante stellato, ma purtroppo la mia esperienza non è stata all'altezza delle aspettative. Sebbene il locale sia molto elegante e il servizio impeccabile, i piatti non mi hanno entusiasmato come speravo. La qualità degli ingredienti era sicuramente alta, ma il risultato finale non mi ha particolarmente colpito. Mi aspettavo una proposta gastronomica più innovativa e sapori più distintivi, ma purtroppo è stata una cena che, pur nella sua eccellenza tecnica, non mi ha lasciato un'impressione memorabile. Forse le aspettative erano troppo alte, ma credo che ci siano altri posti dove l’esperienza culinaria mi ha convinto di più.

If I really, really had to give advice, I would put a sign on the gate to explain that it is not possible to park on site before 12.30... I had arrived 15 minutes early to see the lake and I disturbed the staff while they were having lunch... but the rest, what can I say (?), I would go back every weekend

13/02/2025: The only true authentic Palermo cuisine, Milena top player in the conjugation of typical flavours, Taddeo, a skilled bartender with a complex mind but a refined hand, Andrea, L'OSTE, with an O and in all capital letters! As a Palermo native, the only place I come and go again..

17/03/2025: This is my second time dining at this place, it's really delicious! Slightly more expensive than other Greek restaurants in the area but definitely high quality. Amazing sauces, delicious salads and really tasty gyros. Also recommended for a romantic dinner!
